61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] LuckyToken - Lottery on Blockchain 200 000 $ in tokens on: December 06, 2017, 10:09:43 PM
I agree with what would stand in other social networks to look because in Facebook too much spam. Also the Facebook company is quite tiny here - only 25%
Yeah, it makes much more sense to launch the bounty campaign in the part of the internet which is interested in cryptos, and not concentrate solely on Facebook!

as I understand, they chose Facebook, because they themselves are there. in any case, I'm in the bounty on this forum.

Me too!
It's like a new experience but why did you choose this bounty?

63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is like the bubble ? on: November 28, 2017, 09:01:14 PM
Impossible to know for certain. But here’s the contrarian view:

If there is just a 1% chance that cryptocurrency is “the future of money,” then the entire sector is currently undervalued.

The global money supply currently stands at $90 T, so 1% is $900 B. The total market value of all cryptocurrencies is just under $270 B.

And, I personally believe there is a greater than 1% chance that crypto is the future of money. My gut tells me it’s closer to 20–30%.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2017, 08:48:10 PM
Bank of America and chase have helped me with several overseas transactions. I feel that it all depends on regional guidance, being that in California you can go about business with bit more then a neighboring state like Oregon. It all depends. I'd look into your local banks, many here are trending out with bit.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: November 28, 2017, 07:47:41 PM
Bitcoin is a theoretical and practical breakthrough that makes it possible to decentralize services we previously weren't able to decentralize.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Fork on: November 27, 2017, 11:40:35 PM
In the cryptocurrency world a fork is when a there is a change in the rules of the blockchain that the coin operates on or the nodes disagree on a historic transaction(s). Right??  Huh

Kraken.

Kraken is one of the biggest exchange platforms in the world and they do support bitcoin cash (BCC/BCH).

I also run the 50gb+ full node on Bitcoin ABC (Adjustable Blocksize Cap) client which supports bitcoin cash.

69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 27, 2017, 09:39:51 PM
Bitcoin will survive as one of the cryptocurrencies. I hope to see a flourishing market enabled by blockchain that will allow multiple pathways to fortune, and best if all of blockchain in every manifestation were not held hostage to the vagaries of the market for Bitcoin alone. Right now it seems to be having a very good year though
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: November 26, 2017, 07:34:42 PM
I think hype can only be good for the crypto ecosystem as a whole Smiley as for bitcoin specifically perhaps its slightly more at risk of being overturned from more bleeding edge tech like ethereum or whatever the next greatest thing will be developed under all this hype, but i think because part of the hype around bitcoin is its stability and reliability against the dollar and people are security conscious about storing their value in crypto which makes bitcoins brand/track record particularly attractive when jumping onto the hype wave of crypto,

Bitcoin in the markets is doing pretty well now even compared to all the altcoins.

When hype leaves some people compare it to the .com bubble which at the time was significant but web technology companies today see it as a tiny road bump.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Tax? on: November 26, 2017, 07:20:44 PM
Bitcoin is not governed or controlled by governments or banks. Hence they don’t have any control over cryptocurrencies.

That said, when you sell your Bitcoin and get fiat currency like US dollar, then you’re liable for taxes as per your country on capital gain.

Considering the growth of Bitcoin, you should only Buy and Hold. Take out in small amounts to avoid taxes.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin expensive to use on: November 26, 2017, 07:09:32 PM
:-\Is it better to buy ETH since bitcoin is so expensive?
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: November 26, 2017, 06:59:33 PM
Whether Bitcoin is a money or not depends upon the jurisdiction we are talking about. In Japan it is money because it has been given recognition as a legal tender or as a legitimate medium of exchange. In India it is not money because in India one cannot use it as a medium of exchange for goods and services. But it is being increasingly used as an investment option in various jurisdictions even where it is not being recognised as money.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 25, 2017, 10:57:29 PM
This phenomenon is real in the world of cryptocurrency , because no one monitors this process, all processes completely decentralized. This is the law, when something good and useful appears, always appears something harmful in this equivalent.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2017, 10:45:10 PM
My first impression was that it was confusing and seemed to solve a problem I didn’t have. I imagined it would find a niche, but not really catch on with the mainstream public.

Thus far, my impression hasn’t changed.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: November 24, 2017, 09:30:12 PM
Yes. At the time of its invention in 2009, Bitcoin was the greatest form of money the world had ever seen.

Since that time, many other brands have emerged, some with minor improvements. But they all share the same basic properties of the original. So now we can just say that “cryptocurrency” is the best form of money, and this includes Bitcoin.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: November 24, 2017, 08:45:33 PM
It very depends on your personal knowledge, experience and attitudes. If you’re more conservative type then definitely get with gold. It’s more stable, there isn’t so much risks involved, price isn’t jumping around and future is more predictable. Roll Eyes
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2017, 06:00:35 AM
Directly? Who knows… But in the meantime they accept Bitcoin by using Purse or directly using a reloadable VISA through Shift Payments or BitPay.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: November 24, 2017, 05:53:05 AM
First mover advantage. The bitcoin protocol solved a "hard problem", it is an ingenious piece of technology; and it was released alongside the namesake cryptocurrency that implements it. Tongue
