as of now
coins.ph 812,816 PHP
coinbase 856,234 PHP

hindi na denied ang account nyo dahil "walang alam ang bank sa bitcoin" kasi sa totoo lang bank is fully aware of bitcoin, hindi mo din sila masisi kasi ang bitcoin is no hard copy (or proof) how you earned it (specially no tax) so macoconsider den sya na money laundering which highly NO NO sa bank. Apply again in other bank (or other branch nang bank na inapplyan mo) then NEVER talk about bitcoin, explain to them your status without mentioning bitcoin and they will find a way for you to open an account.

Question po about sa coins "Identity Verification" yung Driver's License ko po kasi expire na, PERO nagrenew na ako, kaya lang wala pang release of new ID ang LTO, kaya hindi nila pinalitan yung old license ko nang new license.

I submit mo both Expired Drivers License at yung Receipt na may tatak ng new validity. pwede yan kasi yung kapitbahay namen naverify ang account.

Hello, everyone.
Is there any Philippines bitcoin exchange aside of coins.ph?

For example I have a friend want to buy 20m worth of btc? Where should he go in the Philippines?

Thanks for your advices.

Are you serious sir?. to add confidence from the answer above. coins.ph is the most used exchange here and you need to have a verified account to increase your purchase and selling power.

In localbitcoins.com look for reputable seller. I saw one there that can handle 1 - 2 million pesos worth of bitcoin for sale. Just do your transaction in person and inside a bank or mall for added security.

i dont think arbitrage is good here in the Philippines because the price difference is relatively small maybe in india or zimbabwe it is applicable.

good luck.

If you do transaction in bank which above 500k Php, you will be subjected to interview with there branch Manager (unless well known VIP ka sa bank) at kong sasabihin mo sa Manager na about bitcoin ang transaction nyo, 90% chance eh foforce close ang account nyo.

Not that really a close friend but he is my classmate during collage days, and im very familiar of his family background and even his personal background so it really get my curiosity. That's also cross in mind that he is running a ponzi/scheme (my wife even think he is selling illegal drugs and just put the bitcoin as a front) but i give him a free doubt for now, mybe he is really doing something in related to bitcoin. How about buy and sell of bitcoin? is it possible to profit that much?

wait till you are about 35+ years old. During time either you are handsome or not is does not matter anymore, because what matter is either you could rise a family or not. Alteast if youre looking for a long term relationship

ok first i live in southern part of the Philippines, i stumble in this forum searching for information regarding bitcoin. I already heard about bitcoin about year 2015 and to obtain it thru mining and was not interested because the investment is so high-cost, the cost of GPUs here in Philippines is so expensive. The thing that got me interest in bitcoin the most was my friend, his status now is so much different from last year ago (if i describe him, he is just a normal person and a very normal family background) but now he have already has his own car(this car is a latest model available in philippines)/business/house etc., in just span of 1 year. But the one thing he say is its all because of "Bitcoin" and wont share other information (i cant blame him if he wont share). So i did my research about Bitcoin/Altcoin and found out that to earn stable bitcoin/altcoin is thru Mining, and found out that the rig for mining was more expensive than before, so im 100% sure, with his status 1 year ago he could not afford a rig (3 GPU rig) to mine Ethereum how much more if he mine bitcoin.

1.So do guys think its possible to earn that much in just a span of 1 year in bitcoin/altcoin?
2.If someone investment on him, what would be the possible setup of his minig rig?
3.The only clue he said is he got everything thru bitcoin but did not say how he get bitcoin, I only assume it was thru mining, Is there other way to earn stable bitcoin? (except in this forum witch thru campaign)
4. Im not sure if its related, but he is spreading news that if you invest $100 (I just converted it to Dollar from Peso) on him, in 15 days he will return with interest of $40, so a total of $140 will return to you in 15days

P/S
Im i jealous of him?  Hell yeah!!!
