61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Campaign no more!! on: June 28, 2018, 02:15:53 PM
Do you agree that facebook banned all that promote ico's and bitcoin?

Maybe the illegitimate ones only. But using facebook and other social media can't be avoided because anyone can join it. The facebook team will have difficulty filtering which among the posts are credible and true and which aren't. It can be controlled, yes, but it can never be eliminated entirely.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Profile Thieves on: June 28, 2018, 12:58:52 PM
People nowadays will do anything to earn money, even through cheating and making their fellow member miserable. Thank you for this enlightening. I didn't even think that this occurs. I hope that campaign managers will now be aware of this. I think it is best to keep other profile info of participants private. Eth address can be used by participants to know their stakes to avoid being cheated.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: June 28, 2018, 11:33:48 AM
Although it may disrupt the flow of your crypto business, law is law and it should be followed. Your country's government may have some pretty good reason of banning it. Maybe it already caused undesirable events on the citizens or maybe there are several money laundering cases. You have to deal with it if you want to be safe and of you want to keep your feet from jail.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we really need to hold altcoins on: June 27, 2018, 08:39:41 AM
Someone told me it is better to hold btc rather than altcoins that she doesn't see any reason why people hold altcoin. She noticed altcoins rely heavily on btc that whenever btc fall they also fall with btc. What is your take on this?

It is okay to hold altcoins as well. Several assets means there will be a greater profit waiting for you when the bull market arrives. There are also profitable altcoins. If you want to play safe, go for those reputable ones. You don't have to stick into a single cryptocurrency. You can widen your portfolio by adding altcoins. This is just my opinion. The final decision is still yours.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: June 26, 2018, 11:56:28 PM
Guys, how do you think, is a ready-made product important for ICO project?

In my opinion, it is, because it can show investors that the team is ready to bring huge results and has future plans.

As an example - KickCity, event platform where each user is rewarded for event promotion. You can try it today. More information you can find here  https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/kickcity-public-beta-5aa66fafc5c7

Yes, it is important to consider the product of the project. The reason of knowing is to know whether the project will head into something that the future demands or needs. The product will dictate how strong the community supporting and patronizing it is. Through the product we will know if it is unique and will be appealing to investors. It is one great consideration when choosing an ICOs, not only the team developing it, roadmap etc.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: June 26, 2018, 11:44:25 PM
I think the number of bounty participants have increased exponentially so reward has also been divided multiple times resulting in smaller rewards, i think we should only join the campaigns that have huge rewards so that we all can get decent rewards, nowadays bounty campaigns with small budgets have become valueless.

It still has value and there are still some bounties that have participants less than one hundred but not all of those are good projects. The rewards will still have value but it won't be as huge as it was before because of several participants sharing for the allocated stakes.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trade safely without any loss on: June 21, 2018, 03:39:36 PM
You won't be able to avoid loss especially if its your first time. It is part of the experience. Losing money is one of the rough roads you have to surpass before knowing which way to go. Trading is difficult and it takes a lot of experience to master. You need to build your own strategy because what works for them might not work for you.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 21, 2018, 03:19:12 PM
I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?

Definitely. Bounty is an investment as well because you invest your time and effort. People need to understand that investment is not only about money in exchange foe greater amount of money. Money can also be earned through hard work and effort. It is just like a job where you invest your time, effort and skills in exchange for a salary.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manipulating the price of coins? on: June 21, 2018, 02:48:58 PM
I think it's not impossible, manipulating the price of coins for personal or group gain, that's normal in a business, sometimes this is no secret anymore, some people are beginning to understand this pattern of manipulation game, I think the best way to overcome this is to hold back self and do not participate in their game plot.

I disagree. Manipulators or the so-called whales have steering wheels. They have the money to manipulate the market. These whales are not just composed of few individuals, they may be an organization composed of powerful and rich crypto enthusiasts and investors. They can divert the market by using their funds and their strategies.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: June 21, 2018, 02:16:42 PM
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.

That is true. Additionally, some airdrops are scam projects. Some require too much information and task. Now that is too much in exchange for a few dollars right? Not to mention that those few dollars aren't guaranteed yet. It might take too long to distribute that the value will shrink. I personally don't participate at any airdrop campaigns because all the airdrops I have joined before were either sh*t coins or just a dollar. No more than 10 dollars. Waste of time.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how do you find new bounties? on: June 21, 2018, 10:58:19 AM
guys, how do you find new bounties? How to find out about a new bounty immediately after the publication on the forum? I put an alert, to the letters came to the email address, for some reason it does not come. How do you know about publishing a new topic in the relevant section?

Before, I rely on ico rating websites alone. But as time passes by, I realized that it is not the only factor that I should consider. Later on, I scrutinize its website and how much its market cap already, its team, product and community. These stuffs are important in choosing a bounty campaign. Not to mention the number of participants in that campaign. I choose a campaign with least number of participants to get bigger rewards.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: June 20, 2018, 03:44:03 PM
So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

Wait for it. Keep holding. You will only lose half of it if you decided to sell it during a dip. The market will surely recover very soon. Ber months are almost here and you just need some patience with you. You cannot let your emotions decide for you or else you will definitely lose it all.
74  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine Gov’t To Allow Country’s 1st Crypto Businesses on: June 20, 2018, 03:17:55 PM
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit cryptocurrency trading its not for you! on: June 20, 2018, 03:09:18 PM
If you think that it is your forte then you can look for other ways to earn money. But if you think that you still have the guts and willingness to learn how to do it, then continue it. Do not let failures nor losses tell you what you can and can't do. Sometimes it is a challenge you've gotta face. But if you want to play it safe and to not lose money anymore, then try to divert your attention to other options. You can offer services within your skills and knowledge.

I, myself, knows that I am not good at this. Though I am still trying.
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: June 17, 2018, 05:43:56 AM
What's your opinion on buying new emerging coins that are not yet on top and cost less than 1 dollar?
How do you decide whether they have potential to grow or not?

It takes thorough research to know the coin's credibility. Check the team who developed it, the community supporting it and its price chart. Some coins, including those with very low value have a chance to pump. It's total supply also has something to do with its chance to grow. Nevertheless, you can never predict a coin's fate. If you want to play safe, choose those coins that are famous already and have several feedbacks from people.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I do not panic when the market falls on: June 17, 2018, 04:19:03 AM
The market is naturally unstable. Prices of coins fluctuate and that is inevitable. You should be ready for this kind of market when choose crypto because that is something that will not be avoided. Learn to control your emotions because if you let it take over your decisions, you might lose everything.

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project? on: June 14, 2018, 03:02:55 PM
Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

https://medium.com/crowdholding-innovation-platform/why-do-you-need-to-build-a-loyal-community-for-crypto-projects-14b9207608c2

The community that supports the project is very important. It dictates how the project will grasp its way to success. The more solid the community is, the better. It is the foundation of the project. Without great people leading and supporting it. It will be a failure.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't cryptocurrencies successful as a medium of payment on: June 14, 2018, 02:48:27 PM
The global economy is nearly 80 trillion USD per year.  Payments using any type of cryptocurrency as a medium of payment is a tiny fraction of this total.

What are some of the reasons preventing cryptocurrency from being more successful as a medium of payment?

Because not at all times cryprocurrency is the best medium for payment. I would not personally choose to buy stuffs online with cryptos unless its for investment purposes. Cryptos are volatile and that is no doubt. Fiat money will always play a huge role in global economy and will not be eradicated, atleast for this era. It is still too early to fully turn our heads to cryptos.
