Is the code bad? Wouldn't reviewing the code tell you if PoS is working or activated at some point? Dev (or someone) removed the code from github. I'm not sure if anyone made a copy or not. |

I would be careful with this one, the original Dev of the original Madcoin is still updating his discord and still working on the coin.
Not sure why we need a swap or a takeover at this point?
Things the original dev has done: Made 3 statements in the past 2 months, all of them making promises but zero clear statements. Promised an updated website, whitepaper, wallet, etc., "soon." He hasn't done anything. Allowed the website security certificate to lapse for over a week. Called anyone questioning his motives or inactivity a scammer. Along with not communicating with anyone, that's why there is a takeover happening. |

but, someone want to "hijack" madcoin dev project. this is very cruel and confuses me.

It wasn't a hijack. There was talk of a community takeover because the dev went silent right after the price peaked at the first part of January. He only came back with excuses (my grandmother died, I don't have anyone to help on the project, etc.) after the takeover was imminent and banned tahir from the discord server. He popped up on discord long enough to ban a few people, call some of them scammers, then disappeared. A LOT of people have lost faith in the project because the dev won't talk to anyone. Even some of the mining pools have dropped the coin because no one knows what is going on. As much as I dislike saying it, this coin will die a long and painful death if they don't step up their game. I have some time and effort invested, but not nearly as much as other people who invested quite a bit to get a masternode. They are the ones who are most upset. |

why has the website got a link to Binance? I wasted 4 minutes logging into that shit to find no Litecoin Cash trading available there  and then i log into YoBit... ho-hum.... so I log into crypto-bridge and lo and behold... not a $5 coin. who'd have thunk it that coinmarketcap could tell such lies!?  I always check the markets tab for the coins I'm checking. Invariably, if yobit is painfully high compared to others, you can bet the wallet is locked or "in maintenance." |

What will Intense do about the alleged problem in Stocks.Exchange? Numerous users are reporting problems using it and with that Intense runs serious danger of being less negotiated, whereas this is already happening! Anyway, it's a long term project, every weekend, I buy some lots of ITNS in the expectation that things can improve.
I traded there for bitcoin in 2 occasions and both were 20 minute deals since transfering bitcoin to there and getting intense on my wallet. I think it was worse before, but now seems to be working just fine. I know that trading on stocks.exchange is a pain because of the time it takes for the transactions to go through. I cannot stress enough our commitment to finding other exchanges to be listed on. I haven’t had any issues the Stocks.Exchange personally. *Fingers crossed* I have had no troubles with them either other than the delay getting coins into the wallet there. It seems that's more of a problem with the blockchain than website since it takes just as long to transfer coins to my other wallet. |

At present we have a cpuminer fork with cloverhash (aka nightcap) implemented available at https://github.com/chancoin-core/cpuminer-multi - branch 'linux' At present, compiling for windows is left as an exercise to the reader - a windows binary is forthcoming, as is a stratum implementation and a GPU miner. If the guy with the Antminer S9 keeps mining it, the difficulty is going to stay difficult for a long, long time once he hits it and quits it.
Let them waste their time! The devs are long gone and Yobit is the only exchange trading it. The wallet there is in maintenance mode, which means no deposits. And, as you probably already know, once Yobit puts a wallet in maintenance mode it's permanent. So, they can mine it but can't trade it. |

looks like more profitable to mine and then to sell? ? You will regret later when the product is finished. . No more mining now, less then 3 cents, 266 satoshis, tomorrow ill mine again lol It was 10 cents a week or so ago. Of course, that was when I was out of town, away from that computer. Else, I would have been able to make a couple of car payments. Right now, I've stopped mining to free up resources. |

We are currently at block 23,429. At block 23,500 the difficulty change kicks-in and the Chancoin block-chain should, in theory, go back to normal operation which means that wallet sync., transfers and mining normalise.
71 blocks to go people !
With only a couple of blocks a day covered, 71 blocks will feel like an eternity. Someone had an L3 (or something like it) running the other day and difficulty shot up from ~1k to 6k with only a few blocks mined over the course of 4 days. Still pluggin' along here, though! |

So has everyone given up on this? I was just recently mining at lpool, chain is still stable, but i think the wallet staking doesn't work.
Best I can tell, it's not on any exchanges and no word from the devs. Sounds like it's dead. |

Is there a problem with the chain/network/whatever? The explorer isn't working and my wallet has been stuck at "Syncing Headers (99.5%)" for the past ~10 hours.
Or am I missing something?
Are you running 0.15.4 ? If so, this issue should be alleviated when a block is found. The issue as I understand it is that since a block hasn't been found recently enough, the client thinks that there are missing headers when in reality the latest block is just 'behind schedule'. If not, upgrade and let us know whether this helps. Yep. 0.15.4 is the only one I could find easily--it was right on the website. The thing is, though, yesterday morning I woke up with the explorer at 23205 and went to bed with it at the same position. This morning, I woke up to it at 23330. There are plenty of blocks with timestamps all through the day between the timestamps of block 23205 and 23330. In fact, the time between block 23205 and 23206 is ~4 hours but I didn't see that until this morning. The explorer has been stuck at 23330 all day today as well.  Hrm - well, deleting your blockchain database and re-syncing _might_ solve the issue, but let me bring this to the attention of the wallet devs to make sure I don't put my foot in my mouth here. Thanks for your patience. I'm not so much concerned about my desktop wallet (it'll sync when it syncs). But when the actual explorer website is stuck on the same block (like right now it's been stuck at 23330 for well over 24 hours) I get a little concerned. |
