Jeddah is in the KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), it is not in the UAE so the news reported in that website is not well investigated. Looking at the Qintar website where nothing of substance is showing for the "team" section and a WP template similar to the Adab Solution scammers is in operation, it gives no confidence to investors at all. When organisations try to hide behind anonymity or semi-anonymity then they look like scammers because they are trying to hide something. As for Adab Solutions, they are a bunch of scammers. There is nothign Shariah related or ethical about their business structure because they stated on previous occasions they are happy to accept both ICO funding and investment from prostitutes, pimps, drug dealers and all sorts of people/organisations that are contrary to religion and ethics. sorry , i did not know this -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5043659.0 .... so, i deleted that topic

huh ? can someone explain -> The proponent also followed up with another tweet to inform the community that Tron had produced more blocks than Ethereum [ETH], its main competition. Lederman said that Tron had produced 8.3 million blocks since its launch in 2018, while Ethereum, despite having the advantage of starting early in 2015, had only 7.5 million blocks.

Vitalik Buterin Responds to Criticism of the Ethereum ‘Team’ ; Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum’s inventor, has stated recent discussions regarding governance and so on have not affected ethereum 2.0 development. Speaking publicly, he said: “While I get frustrated with the antics of the ‘chattering classes’ myself, it’s important to keep in mind that Prysmatic, Lighthouse, the eth2 research team, etc etc are all continuing work right on schedule, and the recent governance noises, while loud and annoying, did not delay the progress of eth2 by even a single day. When you're making a bet on the ethereum ecosystem, it's those silent armies you are betting on."

However, people also say that EOS cannot be considered a robust blockchain, as it achieves scalability by being lenient on consensus mechanisms. This is where Plasma gives Ethereum the upper-hand. Plasma allows a flexible infrastructure to build any type of application with any type of consensus, while relying on a rigid backbone(the Ethereum Blockchain) to support it. This allows for any type of application to built on Ethereum, even ones that would be considered better to build on EOS prior to Plasma.

Buterin is in Australia for the second time ever, heading to Ethereum development conference EDCON in Sydney this week, from the 11th to the 13th. While the conference is broadly focused on all aspects of Ethereum’s development, Buterin says he’ll mainly be speaking about Casper CBC, a new consensus algorithm in development for the platform. This new development is part of Ethereum’s ‘2.0’ roadmap, which Buterin says is coming along well, despite some readjustments and setbacks since the initial plans were set in 2017. The development team, which includes a number of Australians, have launched testnets for its new proof-of-stake network, and isn’t far off rolling out the 2.0 protocol. “The actual protocol for Ethereum 2.0, which includes proof-of-stake and sharding, is very close to finished. We’ve had a lot of progress on the research and development front,” he says. EDCON HACK is a two-day Hackathon, focusing on Ethereum Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions (Sharding, PoS, Clients, Plasma, Channel, Snark) . It's open to everyone who has interests, EDCON HACK team will provide supplementary resources, mentorship, and food for the candidates in need. We cooperate with Ethereum Plasma Team and world-class organizations to provide online training supports for candidates. It’s open to everyone to register as a visitor and find the video recordings of the online training here https://www.edcon.io/hackathon. Hackathon Prize will be more than USD $10,000, and Hackers can get free ticket to EDCON week.
