Once Gulden a bus hits the "mainstream Gulden fuhrer" and the word is spread, there's no holding back Smiley

Buy before that happens and profit at least 50x, easily. Don't take my word for granted, just study about the coin, is pretty easy to come with this conclusion once it's freed from the dictatorship  Wink

It's a little sad to see so much dispute and conflict here, for a small user who doesn't make or spend much. But I guess the positive side of things is that no matter the outcome, good or bad, we can all see x50, mainstream, dictatorship or whatever!

Let's see what really happens after this pow2 update. My take is that we'll be disappointed. Nothing will move. But that's okay too.

Expect sell on news dumps when the update starts today. I will buy some of the dumps to help you all out.

Isn't Peercoin PoW2? They have PoW and PoS that you have mentioned in this article.

Throwing some scrap btc I have laying around at this coin. Call it pity btc.

I might have to start investing in this coin again. Notice the mining rewards are still 100, is it not meant to be going down to 80?

Not yet, PoW2 is being rolled out in phases. When witnessing starts, the mining reward will go down to 80.

This is good news for Gulden investors.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: July 04, 2018, 10:03:29 AM
Can we stop comparing Gulden to ICO’s! It’s like comparing apples to pears. Completely different products.

Gulden is a blockchain based payment system. One of the few projects worldwide with their own blockchain. And probably the safest ever build.

Let’s compare Gulden to Euro or Dollar, that’s where it is targeting at. To make it easier, faster and cheaper than those paymentsystems.

I might have to start investing in this coin again. Notice the mining rewards are still 100, is it not meant to be going down to 80?
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: March 20, 2018, 08:56:51 PM
Not what I expected.. but to me this is way better. It shows two things:
The dev team has still 4 very valuable upgrades in the quiver, which means Gulden won't join the static-coin-club for quite a while.
Second, the dev is delegating decisions to the stake holder and with this Gulden will get more decentralized than before.

Time to join the Slack I guess.

Have to wait patiently for investors as rich as I am to take notice of Gulden. Gulden is number 1 in development and ideas but a disaster attracting meaningful investment.

One thing we do know is that anyone trading on Binance will be trading 1st Gen shit while the best coin remains under covers.

67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: March 14, 2018, 05:19:16 PM
Thanks for posting this, I am relieved and satisfied at the same time. Can someone ask the devs if this will include SegSig?

What devices are you guys planning to witness on?
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: March 14, 2018, 04:16:43 PM
Thanks Biomike for the PM or I would never have found this new Gulden thread.

Price is looking better then I expected for the lack of proof from the devs. I will buy about 175 000 under 1000 sat to help support the prices. This project still has a good chance at success with or without Rijk.

Selling trend is normal and healthy when there is no concrete proof they actually working on anything. Enjoy picking up the cheap coins.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The great Gulden thread on: March 13, 2018, 04:38:55 PM
Thanks Biomike for this new thread.
What a stupid move , to close the other one. For a lot of people G is not a good investment because of Rijk , so I do not see any problem to criticize him.

Do you think that TwoRightsMakeARight has good pressure (btc/ltc/g) or bad pressure from Rijk to close the other thread ?

He never intended to truly ask a question. It was always about drawing attention towards Gulden. And he succeeded massively I might add! It was only when he saw the arguments against became more and more clear and people stopped buying into the lies from the Gulden fanboys he decided to close the thread.

Rijk is one slow ass developer. He should focus on his work before banning slackers.

Has the sneak peak been revealed on slack?

Myraidcoins sent me a PM , he has sold all his coins and moved on. Good on him for not doing it in public.

I will do the same if the sneak peak is not revealed next week and it won't be pretty.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: March 02, 2018, 03:14:37 PM
Looking foreward to the “Sneak Peaks” of the new wallets. Hopefully we will see some next week! 🎉🚀

Are the "Sneak Peaks" coming end of March, with written update end of April, more sneak peaks end of May, another written update end of June?

You can stop second guessing. Let the Dutch handle this. Pow2 and Segsig are real!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfa8fC93Pds

A lot of dumping to take place by Friday if no sneak peaks.

Ah, I see you found a glassbulb somewhere.

Well I disagree with you. I think Gulden has a great future ahead of itself. Only question is: will you be part of it? I am following the Warren Buffet stategy. Invest in stuff you believe in. Not just on price. That will get you fooled to easily. But on product. And the promise it beholds. Gulden is on the brink of writing history. Not just for your wallets. But for crypto as an industry. What the Gulden development team is trying to pull off is a giant leap foreward for the sector. It will change how financials works, how banks work and how governments work. Just give them some slack, to do it right.

Sneak peak is another delay tactic. Wait a month for a sneak peak will only signal another 6 months to develop.

I wouldn't panic yet, I expect the sneak peak to be out this week.

Why does it take this long to post a "sneak peak" when the release is almost done? They posted the update on Friday, it's already Tuesday and nothing!?!?!

Not that anyone gives a shit but I will be selling my stock if the sneak peak isn't revealed by Friday as I am sure we are being played or the development team is hiding something that has gone wrong with the PoW2 and SegSig update. I could be wrong but Friday is a personal deadline and will be investing further in other projects.

The sneak peak is going to be a video of the new wallet, it's the only explanation I can think of that it's taken a week with nothing to show. A visual of the new wallet would take 1 second to print screen and another 1 second to paste and less then a minute to add the image to all the social media outlets they have.

The only explanation : It's Teasing ! If they publish the sneak peak today they have nothing to publish for the next few months ... as the release will be not before the end of this year

I am going for July release as per my previous posts but I do agree with what you are saying, unless the sneak peak is a picture of the changes for PoW2 and SegSig then after a month it will lose it's affect.
They could save themselves all the bad publicity by showing us a picture but they have nothing to show yet.

Gulden iOS Development Update

These guys are getting the hang of it, tease away Boys!! 👊

http://guldenbites.com/2018/02/28/ios-development-update/

Why did they break from the PoW2 release to do iOS?

They have a dedicated mobile wallet developer. So he’s doing his part.

That is a relief, this wouldn't of caused any delays on the PoW2 release then?

I give a shit  Grin

I totally understand how you feel but i am not going to sell because when i sell theY announce the update and then Gulden will go to 0,50 eurocent so x4 and then you feel very bad  Roll Eyes

And if you sell where are you going to invest it in because i do not know it anymore.  I have 60 coins now but still think Gulden has the biggest potential of them all to go big but i like to hear what coins you invest in?

I initially got excited when I saw the update last week Friday but have a look at the August update. It's close, almost there, same trash as in last week's update.

My prediction of July still stands. Takes 1 month for a sneak peak it's going to take months for the "finishing touches".

This is why the price is resuming it's decent and the volumes are low.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: February 23, 2018, 03:44:58 PM
Funny to see all the emotion flip from "It's dying! Rijk is ...." to "Moon! Heil Rijk!"... just by some news post. #showusthecode

Like, half of that news could have been posted a month (or two) ago... communication is still bad.

I am pleased with the update but yes it could be another 6 month delay tactic.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: February 23, 2018, 02:37:05 PM
Good news all!

https://dev.gulden.com/february-development-update/

SegSig is gonna happen!!! I know a lot of people here was in doubt about SegSig but the next release is going to be huge. SegSig and PoW2!!!

Many thanks to the author of this update. This elaborate article surely helps to deal with the growing uncertainty of the last months. I really appreciate the depth of explanation of what is going on behind the scenes, which in my opinion is a big improvement to the january update.
I hope the thorough testing can settle successfully soon and the developers can see as much appreciation as they saw critical votes lately.

Looks like I will have to eat my words on SegSig not being possible, fuck! I was told by developers I respected that it could not be done because the bitcoin developers only managed 25% on SegWit. I apologies if any of my previous posts made anyone sell their coins.

I will pay my respects to the development team when the release comes in the slight chance the update is nothing but words for another 6 months.

More updates like this wouldn't of had me making those posts and doubting the team, just saying!
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: February 22, 2018, 06:09:08 AM
My 2 cents.  some people on this thread share good information and share good ideas both positive and negative.  But others just say nonsense.  If you have no interest in this coin then why waste your time making stupid comments.  I see the frustration, everyone wants the update to be released because everyone knows the price will shoot up.  Will Gulden be around in a few years? My opinion yes.  I don't feel that way about a lot of crypto coins.  If you don't think Gulden will succeed then don't invest.  Rijk made it clear his interest is to make Gulden successful as a coin  that everyone will use.  Do you believe him, if so support Gulden and back the decision that he is doing the right thing.  If not sell all your coins and invest in a coin you trust.  I asked questions on slack and Malcolm and Rijk answered and seemed pretty cool.  Maybe I'm wrong maybe i'm right, but I truly feel Gulden has the potential to be a game changer in the crypto world.

Two reasons for not agreeing with you: 1) this is the only place people can express frustration or ask inconvenient questions without being banned; 2) try being optimistic and supportive for a year or more, after you see countless deadlines missed, rubbish behavior and no sense of responsibility towards investors. Personally, I am not pissed of because of the price, but because they way these guys are behaving as if they don't owe anything to anyone. When I invested in Gulden, I did it based on an existing product, a whitepaper and a roadmap. They are not delivering on promises and not by just a week or two, but by months, many months. Try telling this on slack and remain optimistic afterwards.

Look, they fucked up royally adding SegSig to this update. PoW2 was ready in August but they wanted to be greedy and add another major project to the same release. It's hard enough for most developers to work on one major project at a time but they decided to do 2 major updates in one release.

The sad part is the 6 month delay might be for nothing if they don't get SegSig working.

It showed a lack of maturity and common sense adding SegSig for this release.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: February 21, 2018, 09:17:25 AM
I cringe to think what the price is going to be after 1st March when development is not ready.

Did anyone else check the https://dev.gulden.com/ site today? The estimated completion date of SegSig has been removed which initially stated February 2018 (at least that is what it stated for the past 1.5 months or so), looks like they remove target dates as a whole which might not be a bad thing, bummer that they do not announce this to the community more clearly.

Rijk commented on Slack as follows:
I do understand Everyone wants the update to be there, so do we. I have removed the indication because people see it as deadlines. They are not there. It is ready when it is ready, as simoel as that. We are building this for the first time, it is extremely complex and must be perfect. We are not going to take risks with wallets. That seems logical to me. In addition, such an update is also getting bigger, we come across things that we can do much better and more efficient. After this update we will approach the communication completely differently. E. g. no more prior announcements about projects, but an explanation of what we are doing at that moment and an announcement if something is ready. However, we will no longer announce what that is.

Basically, they will not be ready in feb, otherwise why remove the deadline. Good thing is they will change the way they communicate. So just not posting deadlines anymore but talk us through project on a regular basis. So we can see progress.

Removing the deadlines was a good move on there part, traders must decide how they want to handle this news. Instead of a large sudden drop in price on the 1st March traders can discover a new fair market value based on this news.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: February 21, 2018, 09:05:48 AM
So, testing for a few months now... and now they come with "It is extremely complex and must be perfect"?

Seems like they found fundamental, exploitable flaws in their idea.

Well I said it all along they wouldn't be ready end of Feb , at least they are clever and caring enough not to release a update with flaws. When they drop SegSig from development there is a good chance they will go with PoW2 and SegWit for a July release.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: February 18, 2018, 06:10:21 PM
NLG is staying behind in value compared to many other at least as interesting altcoins.
If BTC goes up, SAT value of NLG goes down most of the times.
Also, there is hardly any volume in NLG, so we can conclude general interest in Gulden is very low.
Which is fairly logical, as more and more people start to question the development team.
There are just some traders trading on the penny, making a small margin between bittrex and nocks.

So far there is no proof, -for over a year-, if the Gulden team really is as brilliant as people say or they themselves think they are.
They have been testing for over 12 weeks now, after a period of automated testing and small inner circle testing.
The feedback is still close to zero.
Apparently they do not possess the ethics to properly and regularly inform their community who funded them with 600+ BTC
and made them financially independent.

Their repetitive arrogant "It is ready when it is ready" reply is very annoying.
The Gulden slack is a sad over-censored environment.
They even have bots in place that remove other coin names if you should type them.
And everytime anyone asks a good or smart question they do not like, there are warnings and removals.
The slack is run in a very scary totalitarian way.

Anyway, the complete Gulden 2.0 update has to be delivered February 28th latest.
Then we will see if there is some justification in their arrogant above-and-beyond stance.

I was banned from slack for having an opinion, I plan to dump when I can get out with a profit.

Same here, got banned last night, I merely stated that gulden was at rank 204 in the "traders" part of the forum, appearantly this was a reason for being banned from slack, a little harsh is my opinion... So much for the gulden coin being owned by the Gulden community...

Don't mention other crypto related sites in the gulden slack as you can expose users to numerous scams like bitconnect.

Just to build on what was said before to better capture the situation, I'm a hodler and need a slightly higher price to ensure I break even with the investment I made in Gulden, so I was not attempting to create any FUD out there as this could also negatively impact my own investment (I will not pump more money into this coin), I had not mentioned other trading platforms on the website that were banned.

Hope that the development team will be able to complete the project as indicated on the site as I do feel like they could gain some great traction if they do so, but as some people have mentioned it already here, will this truly be completed prior to the end of Feb... I sure hope so...

At this stage you have to be a die hard fanboy to believe a end of Feb completion date. My 5 year old daughter has better time management. Dev sources I have access too say SegSig is close to impossible with the 58% the devs claim to be saving on transactions.

When they drop SegSig and finally finish PoW2 you will be able to sell for a profit.
