I can change the game type and client seed at my will to at least make sure my bets are fine. Not that I change it every roll, but I frequently change game type so that's also one method.

In my opinion there is no ideal system for off-chain sites right now, I have voiced my opinion that someone should develop an open-source standard and require all sites to run it to be "provably fair".
Even Stunna is acknowledging that every system has no ideal provably fairness. New developments have to be made to end this scam accusations that lack insight. I think this thread is pretty closed then. I'd agree in saying that each system has its flaws, but the way this site implements it's provably fair allows for a much easier way for rolls to be manipulated, there isn't a 100% sure-fire way to know that your roll hasn't been manipulated. Other sites display a non-changing nonce (displayed before rolls) or an editable field, which as long as we record the nonce or edit our client-seed we can be sure our roll is not manipulated. We can neither edit or be sure of the time that the roll was placed because the time ticks by too quickly and as pointed out by another user, the time isn't even accurate.

I agree with satoshi as the defacto standard, but maybe under a different name? Would be better for more widespread adoption.

AOE II is one of my favourites too.
Really enjoy the Assassin's Creed series, PC player though.

I don't think 100's will happen again any time soon, seems to be a huge amount of buy orders stacking up as the price gets low and just drives the prices back up, stabilizing around the mid 400's each time.

If the block reward was kept higher, it would likely cause the price to drop, so it's not in the best interest of miners. We should also see more in transaction fees if the amount of transactions rise over time.

Probably whatever is most profitable at the time, which would likely be a newer scrypt coin. I'd also exchange whatever was mined to bitcoin though.

Depends on your site, if your site is just static content (html files, etc) then it's probably not possible to do it automatically. If you use a language backend (PHP, ruby, python etc) then you can automate it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ! http://www.php.net/manual/en/

It has a good chance of hitting that much, hopefully if adoption rates increase.

I've been told my numerous people that 'the bitcoin' was hacked because of the Mt Gox saga. We need more media positivity.

Depending on how your site is designed, you can generate a random code for each user, throw it into a URL ie. yoursite.com/?aff=random-code, when the affiliate user visits that link, set a cookie and wait for them to sign up. When they sign up you can link the two accounts together.

I would send the standard fee where possible- if you don't, transactions can take a long time to confirm or may not confirm at all.

Months ago it was common to find posts about how Bitcoin was going to turn the financial world upside down, destroying world governments, and finally providing financial freedom to the people. It was though that the government would not know how to respond to this "world changing technology" and would struggle to fight it until they finally died out.
Now it appears that the day to day use of Bitcoin will be not so different than current systems.
1. Most Bitcoins are bought non-anonymously on exchanges. When the average person will buy themselves Bitcoins, they will complete AML verifications tying their identity to the coins they purchased.
2. All financial institutions will AML verify even if they were to accept Bitcoin. Imagine Visa or Paypal begin accepting Bitcoin to pay your credit card bills and make purchases. People would see this as a massive benefit but how is it much different than we currently have? All your Bitcoin payments to them will be recorded and able to be subpoenaed by the government at their will.
While I still see Bitcoin as having excellent properties from non-seizability, to being easy and great to use for transactions, does anyone else think some of the ideological ideas of Bitcoin are dying, or at least heavily weakened?

Bitcoin is 100% different. Just because someone could make Shitcoin doesn't make Bitcoin any worse.

Good idea + transparency + communication = good Bitcoin security

Cool stuff. If fewer people, businesses, and systems rely on the same systems, bitcoin becomes stronger.

If you have a big plan Detroit could be big money, but looking to buy a $10 house and waiting for someone else to revive Detroit is very risky.
