62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Posting on BitcoinTalk: how do I know when my post is "too long"? on: January 27, 2020, 03:46:03 AM
There are subject matters that can be explained in a few words and there are subject matters that needs to be explained in a hundred words. Both are ok thats why if you look at campaign rules, they ask you to post at least 75 to 100 characters. But it doesnt mean longer is better. You dont need to beat around the bush just to qualify for the 100 characters.
63  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: January 24, 2020, 05:56:50 AM
Agree, we should manage our emotions because through controlling we might place best orders when we make profits we should use the profit wisely otherwise it is impossible for us to recover from the loss. In crypto, money management will play an important role in trading.
Even if you know how to manage your emotion, if you lack knowledge in selecting which coin is good to buy at the right time, that will be useless. You will just end up buying coins that you think based on your controlled emotion is good. Knowing how to read graphs and using tools in trading is essential, then next is controlling your emotions.
64  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: January 23, 2020, 08:54:06 AM
Yeah, nobody (even people who didn't participate) can deny that it has been a very successful one. Not only in the sense that 3 years ago when this all started bitsler wasn't as big as it is now (which means signature campaign worked to get the website bigger) but also in the sense that it was very well managed by the campaign managers and also paid very well as well. That is literally all you can do from a signature campaign, it should be good for business that does it (it was), it should have good campaign manager (it did) and it should pay well (it did) so there has been not a single complaint about the signature campaign.

Of course, it is sad to see it go but after 106 bitcoins paid for it and 3 years of continuing, I assume it is time to say good bye to it.
I am proud to say that I was in the campaign since Day 1 and both we never encountered any problem with the Owner and the campaign manager. Always on time and we are always updated. It is sad that the campaign has to end but I had a nice journey with Bitsler and kudos to the campaign manager yahoo62278 who managed the campaign very well, hats off to you sir and I learned a lot from you. Thanks Baryom and yahoo62278!

66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: January 22, 2020, 11:36:05 PM
Read previous players' comments on some of the gambling forums and you will soon learn if it is a scam or not. If many people are complaining about being ripped off or taken for a ride, then the chances are that the site is a scam.
It depends on who is giving the comments or giving the review or feedback. There are people out there who are paid to give positive reviews to sites even when the site does not deserve such positive review. Some site owner would even go to the distance of creating multiple accounts in a forum just create a buzz or hype but in reality they are just talking among themselves. To be safe, go with sites that are operating for quite sometime and site should have no problem in withdrawing funds, just like when people deposit funds.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 22, 2020, 11:29:39 PM
One of the biggest cons of full time trading is being alone , boring sitting in front of computer watching charts data all the time from past 6 moths i am almost doing this and now because of this i am not able to focus on trades. i feel like quieting full time trading and go to job so i make some new friends and Socialness

what you guys do to avoid this biggest cons on full time trading
This is the reason why going full time in trading is not recommended and should be just a side job that you can work on for 2 to 4 hours per day. Others thought that going full time trading is good and exciting. It depends specially on the kind of market that you are going to experience. If its bearish, then its boring, you will watch the chart and price go side ways most of the time. If you want to continue in trading and continue to do your day job, get a trading bot and your bot will trade for you based on your settings.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right way to teach them? on: January 22, 2020, 11:21:27 PM
We all know how worked hard Satoshi Nakamoto made the blockchain, for the ease of all of us, should we not do anything for this?
So the answer is yes, we too should do something.

That's why I and some of my friends have decided that we will. We will build a small academy with only two or three rooms, where we will tell people about blockchain, without any fees.

I want to know this from you, is this a good idea? Please tell me if this is not the right way.

We can only invest two or three months for this Academy.

Lessons:
How blockchain works.
How to send or receive.
How to buy/sell cryptocurrencies ( Trading).
What is the private Key.
What is the difference between Coins and Tokens.
What is ICO or IEO.

Among the six Lessons that are part of your planned curriculum, I guess you should separate the How to Buy/Sell cryptocurrencies (trading). Its should be a special class as it needs to be divided in different parts like how to read charts, understanding the market conditions and using tools like RSI, Bollinger Bands and others.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 22, 2020, 04:10:51 PM
bot trading is useless in a downtrend and only ends with one stop loss order, you are right about that, I have not found a more sensitive setting in this condition, at least to minimize the possibility of a profit of 1%. Overall. The manual process is still better for the desired profit, because instinct is always developing in seeing the best opportunities. Bot domination will not bring big changes because it still has weaknesses that must continue to be customized.
Regardless of the market condition, using a bot will give you a better advantage to those who are not using a bot. Imagine, watching the price of a coin for more than an hour or two just to place that buy order because you need to be ib the place and in the right time. Bots can do that you, monitor the price and make the transaction based on the settings used by thower
70  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Bitcointalk Org Shirt on: January 22, 2020, 08:54:21 AM
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the ways i can cash out Bitcoin in another country? on: January 21, 2020, 11:58:50 PM

If i ever go to another country and try to cash out Bitcoin,

what are the ways?

Only two things i can think of...

1. Make certain bank account where i can cash out Bitcoin

2. In person

1st option may not be possible though at certain country...

Any thought?
If you wan’t to get a specific answer, you better add in your post which country are you planning to visit and exchange your Bitcoin to their local currency. In the Philippines, that would be a problem for foreigners, because Bitcoin exchangers in the Philippines are strict, before you can open an account that allows you to withdraw in local currency, you need to go through KYC. Even if you plan to open a bank account, you need to go through KYC.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: January 21, 2020, 11:53:44 PM
Everyday is a good day to buy Bitcoins, even when the price of Bitcoin reached $19,000 USD, at that point in time, its still good to buy because after you bought at $19,000 USD there are still people out there who wants to buy at a higher price because of the demand but of course, you cant do that now. Bitcoin is good for long term and short term holding. If I have extra funds, I will set aside a separate amount of Bitcoin that I will hold for a long time and for short term trading.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bots for trading and sports betting 🚀 on: January 21, 2020, 11:48:31 PM
I am interested with the sports betting bot but you did not mention how it works which makes me skeptical about the process of selecting what team or player the bot will choose. Is it based on the odds, example the odds of Conor Mcgregor of winning last Sunday is high, bot will automatically place a bet on Conor Mcgregor even when the bot owner is not logged in.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 21, 2020, 11:40:56 PM
At one point in time all of us dream of winning the jackpot prize in lottery. Sometimes while we are even holding our last money, we are thinking of what if I buy lottery tickets and win the jackpot. But reality check, its not going to happen because as the saying goes, the odds of getting hit with a lightning is higher than accurately guessing the number combinations of lotto.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have anyone come across this? Whether it is a true currency or fake one....? on: January 21, 2020, 11:31:35 PM
I guess this is how the front or face of that monetary note look like. Don’t be surprised to see monetary notes with face high value but when exchanged the values is just a fraction of the amount. One example is the Vietnam Dong. Value of 1 Million VND is just $43 USD.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 20, 2020, 11:14:26 AM
Senator Manny Pacquiao will not refuse to fight Conor. Knowing Senator Manny, he is always on the look out for an opportunity to fight and earn more. I remember way back 2017 he even offered Conor to fight him if his fight with Floyd did not push through. Definitely this will generate a lot of views but they need to agree on the venue.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: January 20, 2020, 11:05:10 AM
If Khabib loses to Ferguson and he will be the next title holder, will Conor still be interested to fight Khabib?
Or he will be more interested to get his belt back?

His been calling Khabib for a rematch as far as I can remember so probably he is still open for that fight.

Lots of options for Conor now because of his "impressive" win against Donald Cerrone. I'm sure Dana is very happy to see him winning, because as cash cow, he can still potentially set up Conor to whoever he wants and get tons of money out of it. So let's see how it goes, disappointed on how Cerrone performed though, he didn't offer anything and was simply steam roll by Conor.
Its true that Conor has called out Khabib a lot of times before his match with Cerrone, however, Conor now is on a different weight class thats why after Conor won in a convincing way, Khabib lays out a condition if rematch of Khabib and Conor will push through. I think Conor is comfortable at this weight class but he needs beat a lot of good fighters as well.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 16, 2020, 11:51:15 PM
If someone will ask me about it, maybe I will share my story about big winnings, but me initiating the discussion to a friend, that doesn't look good. There are times its the topic of discussion when I am out drinking with my buddies where stories starts with "ah that noting to the amount of money that I won last week...." then followed by "thats too small compared the amount of winnings my uncle had last month..." and so on, but again thats during a drinking session. But on a serious discussion and you will brag your winnings last night, it will not sit well with your friends.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: January 16, 2020, 11:35:44 PM
If the project has potential and has a big chance to make it big, if I am the owner, I will not offer a single bonus to investors. Let them find out what my project is all about and let them weep when they found out that my project make it big and 40%? Thats too much, I can't imagine my company 40% owned by the public, it like I owe them that much.
80  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms a good way to start trading? Which ones are the best? on: January 16, 2020, 11:14:08 PM
Trust those that are used by many and already out and used for quite sometime. Don't be a guinea pig and once you got scammed you will start creating noise. Its not worth it unless you are one of those who tests sites and create feedback to help others or warn others about the mew site. But, do you think your money is worth it? Testing if the site is a scam or not?
