How come you are staking POS if POW isn't over?
I'm not doing anything.  Just trying to understand how the Stake coins are generated. Are you saying about 1000 Pinks will randomly appear in my wallet every now and then? |

Hi anyone know what happened to suchpool? I had rentals on there overnight (so last 12 hours Aus time) & got like 1 block? is it just really bad luck?

How does this affect GPU Coin?
To clarify: your discounted 280X price is $435 when I see one for $340 on Newegg right now.
Ye most of the cards seem to be under $400 even the Sapphire Toxic is only $399 hopefully the CEO has seen this and hasn't ordered the cards already at a higher price. After investing in 5 Mh 3 weeks ago the words that I type can not express how mad I am at the prices I paid then. |

If i should buy mining equipment for DRK.. is it still more profitable that buying? Lets say i fix four amd 290.. Any recomendations?

Honestly I have no idea how that could be more profitable right now.. 4 290s right now has gotta set you back like 2000$ with the rest of the mining rig? 2000 $ is a bit over 3 BTC (3.18 right now). Let's say you have 3BTC just for round numbers sake and could get all of your DRK at 0.0015 BTC , that would mean 2000 DRK. How much time does it take for 4 of those cards to generate 2000 DRK ? By the time they are generated will the difficulty have shot up 3 or 4 times ? Seems like a lot of trouble to go through. Now if those cards will be used for other coins after .. maybe it's worthwhile. edit: just saw the post above mine - so with 4 cards you would get roughly 15 coins/day at current difficulty. which would be 2000/15 = 133 days or 4.44 months to mine 2000 DRK if the difficulty remains the same (which it won't). This coin hasn't even been out for 2 months yet , in 4.44 months who knows where it will be. This is why I stopped mining Dark. |

Just noticed this coin. It would be a disaster to go regular scrypt for a GPU coin. Scrypt-N should be the way forward... if you are a GPU coin, you should be adamant about supporting a GPU-only coin. Horrible marketing if you don't.
And someone who said scrypt ASICs don't exist yet...is wrong.
I agree and as in IPO voted. I think scrypt ASICs are out there and they hammer scrypt launches. I would favor stretching out the N-factor progression as long as possible to keep GPU's relevant. After N20 the store can sell CPUs |

haters gonna hate. This has been the smoothest launch I have seen. I saw my miner start about 30 seconds after the supposed start time. I have never seen that. Only problem is there was a lot of people mining at start. Oh well, better be prepared next time. Such a hater man You fucking spanish prick. I had cgminer running with hashstrike pool from minute 1 of launch. It just didn't fucking connect. Even tried relaunching and deleting .bin files 5 minutes in, still nothing. Only 10 minutes did the hashrapid pool start working. When diff was like 50 already. So eat a dick. Is this ya'lls first launch. It's always this way. Some get lucky and get hooked up early and a lot of us just sit there spinning our tires waiting for pools to come up or wallets to sync. My average is hashing by about 30 min post launch. On a coin like this one - too late. I like the ninja launch. |

This get me 1.7 Mhs each on 4x rig. --thread-concurrency 16768 -I13 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1450 --gpu-powertune 20 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --auto-fan --expiry=1 --scan-time=1 --queue=0 2>logfile.txt I hear I should get 2.0 but I can't seem to make that happen. |
