I am afraid it cannot reach 20k before the year ends. Few days are left before the 2017. Although the price right now is 16K. The missing 4k cant be achieved with the few days left.

Nothing lasts forever and even bitcoin is not a perfect cryptocurrency, there are some ALTS with a great potential such as DASH, ETH, Litecoin, BCH... one day some of these coins might replace BTC from the 1st place. No, It won't be possible, no altcoin will replace the place of BTC in the market. All other ALT coins out there just rely on how BTC moves in the market. That's all. Money can’t buy happiness, but it helps a lot. If I have a cancer, I prefer being a millionaire rather than being broke, although I’m not going to be happy anyway. If my girlfriend cheats on me and leaves me for my best friend, I prefer being a millionaire rather than not having money. And so on.

I would suggest , dont go for mining . by the time you reach breakeven point . The mining difficulty goes up leaves you very little profit for the effort . The best idea is to buy ETH or BTC and hold it for an year  Mining is still profitable, but don't choose to mine BTC or any coins that has very high difficulty. For now, I think a good idea is to buy coins and hold it for a while until it had grown enough. |

I think the correction had already happened. The price yesterday have reached to 12k and now it is back to 14k. I think the correction is over.

Because the happiness that we want is eternal happiness not partial. Yes, money can make us happy because we can buy what we want and need but that is only temporary.
