Hey what block are we at? I'm at 255076.
21:06:22 GMT-8  getinfo 21:06:23 GMT-8  { "version" : "v0.10.2.0-abe", "protocolversion" : 70001, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 3356061777475.00000000, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 295324465.00000000, "blocks" : 255093,"moneysupply" : 40438934961932.00000000, "connections" : 8, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "x.x.x.x", "difficulty" : 0.00024414, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1388952648, "keypoolsize" : 102, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "unlocked_until" : 1389991607, "errors" : "" } That's weird, how long(many confirms) does it take to get your deposits into cryptsy? There seems to be some discrepancies between these two "getinfo" outputs.. I just sent 1 penny to Cryptsy and it took 3 minutes to show up.. Edit: 17 confirms for me..  { "version" : "v0.10.2.0-unk-abe", "protocolversion" : 70001, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 599851624.00000000, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 255415, "moneysupply" : 39679393879924.00000000, "connections" : 8, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "***.****", "difficulty" : 0.00024414, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1388876798, "keypoolsize" : 102, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "errors" : "" }

To anyone still having syncing issues.. I was experiencing the same thing, but I found something that got me syncing.. First, make sure you are running the newest wallet version, v0.10.2.0-unk-abe.. Remove all the chain files in the conf folder, of course keeping your pennies.conf and wallet.dat file, and then make sure in your pennies.conf file you remove all lines except for these:
rpcuser=user rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=* rpcport=12121 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 addnode=node.cryptsy.com
I had "listen=" "server=" etc.. Once I removed those lines it kicked in and is syncing fine for me now.. I don't know if it will help anyone else, but I wanted to share this because it got me going..
Without "server=1" you cannot mine any blocks for the network, those pennies add up you know. lol.. I am aware of that, but I was just simply stating that is what got me synced.. I suppose you could put it back in the file once it is done syncing.. Edit: btw, if you manage to get it synced, be prepared to see a large portion of your CENTS to disappear. Once my first wallet was in sync, it effectively vaporized 11 billion of my pennies that were already in my established savings .. I also have a second wallet that had 55 billion and I'm dreading to see the damage done to that one:(

Well, I have had issues with pulling the Pennies 0.10.2.0-abe version from github. Can someone verify this is just me or if there is an issue with the repo.. Trying to compile it on Linux.. Thanks! Edit: Nvm. I was having connectivity issues..

Will the github repo be updated as well?
The source is already updated (under the branch 'stakefixfix'). The pennies-qt repo has been removed for now because I can't push the new dll's to it, they're too big. Once i sort out what's up with that I might use that repo again, though it's really bad form to be using github for binaries in the first place. Thank you!

are there any exchanges for trading CENT other than cryptsy..?
The only other one I know of is BTER, but they have deposits disabled.. I don't think it will get listed anywhere else until the issues are sorted out, but it looks like it's almost squared away..

I'm still having issues with syncing.. Is there an updated list of nodes?

There seems to be a problem with the code on github around the peers.dat file... It never creates one and just crashes. Is anyone else seeing this?
root@stratum:~/aliencoin/src# ./aliencoind Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Will this solve it? net.cpp:21:22: fatal error: miniwget.h: No such file or directory #include <miniwget.h> ^ compilation terminated. make: *** [obj/net.o] Error 1
cant compile any suggestions where i am wrong ?
at op can u update with linux wallet ?
From what I can tell there is a permissions issue with the github repo.. I fixed it on my box and then copied "net.cpp" from another scrypt coin wallet directory.. This is what got me going.. That got the wallet-qt running for me..

How about us Linux users? What happens if we cannot update?
If you're running it on linux, you must have compiled it at some point. Just compile the new version. Thanks for the reply Catman! Compiling is no prob, but what repo am I to pull from? I see this one posted is for Windows, so would it be the one from shakes original github? Thanks!
