Ξpool - Updates 1.) upgrades to parity 1.3.2 went very well. Mining prowess seems to be same or even better 2.) Parity blockchain data moved to 100% RamDisk. We are now getting sub 500μs import speeds and 100μs stratum broadcasts. 3.) Updated Mining and Stratum servers to Linux Low Latency kernel. 4.) I hope uncle rates haven't changed. It means I've been over paying. 4.375 uncle are is not always. It's how many blocks you are away from the head and the rate reduces. Stratum Miners may still continue to use the following servers, us1.epool.io:8008 us2.epool.io:8008 us3.epool.io:8008 uk1.epool.io:8008 uk2.epool.io:8008 uk3.epool.io:8008 For getwork miners, we would recommend using a proxy. This can greatly improve miner availably and miner hashrate by up to 20%. This also reduces load on pool overall. The following is the github repository of the Epool supported proxy, however many other variants will also work, https://github.com/etherninja/etc-proxy-epoolThe Epool stratum configuration includes the recommend defaults for failover for our pool. with regard to wallets this is the simplest solution to all transactions for ETC https://www.myetherwallet.comJust make sure you are operating on https - bookmark it and ALWAYS use the bookmark. All signing is done client side and only the signed transaction is broadcast. You can split SIMPLY to prevent replays and send ETC or ETH ONLY transactions. Save your wallet files on USB memory sticks - offline most of time. No syncing or Ethereum Wallet ever again. Careful with MEW. I lost 503 ETC in their stupid spliter contract. Be safe and use the ethereum classic version. |

Ξpool Epool is charging 0% fees until further notice. This includes everything, uncles, blocks, gas. Outbound tx fees are paid at our own expense. Epool has temporary switched to 0% fees due to falling network hash and price. Our intentions are to not to stay this way forever. However, once fees are re-instituted, we plan to donate %50 of all fees to Ethereum Classic core development and the other 50% to keep the lights on.
