Hello and a happy new year to all of you,
today we released the version 2.0 of our Bitcoin bootcamp. This release contains a major enhanvement: the achievements.
Achievements can be earned by every participant when he performs certain trading activities. For example, he can get achievements for:

  • high trading volumes
  • high trading frequencies
  • high account balances
  • good ranking positionings

Good thing: achievements are not only a great way to show your trading skills but also gives each participant a reward in EUR and Bitcoin in the Bitcoin exchange game.

We also are proud to announce that we reached 600 participants. Thereby 15% of all participants are still able to win real Bitcoin at the end of the first round on the 1st of March 2014.

Have fun trading!

Greetings,

we made small modifications to the Order Frontend to improve usability:

- The "search" button is renamed to "refresh" button, to adequately describe it's use.
- Order Limit fields now have the current Bid / Ask as initial value.
- Order Nominal will be cleared after placing an order.

Also, we are coming near to the 400 user landmark - thanks for all your feedback, we hope you enjoy the game!

Hello there,

when would be the next opportunity to get into the advertising train? Or is the chance gone for two years? Smiley

Hello there!

Our bitcoin exchange game is getting more and more users, some players already could profile themselves as prospective winners (have a look at top 10 Ranking).

Furthermore, we are currently trying to make the game experience smoother. We do this by improving the notification system and increasing the update frequency of the trading chart. Also we are working on several slight changes that are supposed to increase the usability of our site. If you are desperately missing functions or features, just give us a shout over the feedback boxes.

Best regards and stay tuned.

Hi,

Ben

Hey,

we are glad that you enjoy our Bitcoin exchange game Smiley.

To further improve the game experience we will offer additional functionality during the next weeks including achievements and extended trading possibilities. To enable all participants to acquaint themselves with the new functions we extend the duration of the current round by 1 month until 1st of March. At the same time we increase the amount of prize Bitcoins to 1.5 in order to maintain the winnable Bitcoin per time unit ratio.

and yes, we have a lot of amazing ideas! Just buckle up and enjoy the (Bitcoin) ride Smiley

REALLY?  Another month?  Dislike...  Next thing you know, it'll be 6 months, then extended to a year with 6 BTC prize.  Then all of a sudden, developer of sight disappears.  Should have left it at 2 months, that's a very long time already.  Or reward people every 15 days for 0.5BTC total.

Hey,

sorry for unsettling you.

I can ensure you that this was and will be the only change of the first round on this scale. We tried to design it fairly by increasing the prize pool in the exact dimension as we increased the length of the round. And nope, our developers won't vanish, we guarantee that the prizes will be distributed shortly after the end of the first round.

Doing rounds on a weekly base would be a great thing for the participants, but I fear that the resulting overhead activities would then cripple our development.

PS: I was asked "are you analysing the behavior of users in order to generate trading strategies?" on several occasions now. I can also ensure you that we are not analysing our participants' behaviour just to create stressable trading techniques. This would heavily conflict with our understanding of trustworthiness.

Hi,

Hello,

in our FAQ the distribution is explained in detail. Yes, the first place gets  ~25% of prizepool, which currently is about those 0.28 BTC. Unfortunately we are not Bitcoin Millionaires and therefore cannot give away 20 Bitcoins Wink

But: We are thinking about increasing the prize pool in the near future, stay stuned.

By the way: at the current user count, every user wins real Bitcoins... signing up still is very rewarding Wink

Hey, I can explain it, if you like Wink

Limited Orders are specified by the amount of Bitcoins to be sold/bought and the limit that you are willing to sell/buy for at least/at most. So you place a sell order, "SELL 1 Bitcoin for 900€."

Only if someone would bid 900€ for your Bitcoin, the orders would be matched and the trade executed. It is possible that it takes 2 months until someone is bidding 900€ for 1 Bitcoin, the order would have to wait 2 months then in order to be executed.

Execute best (or unlimited) orders are only specified by the amount of Bitcoins to be sold/bought. You will then get the best price available on the market. You place a buy order, "BUY 1 Bitcoin"

This means that you will get the cheapest 1 Bitcoin on the market. Also, this will be done almost instantly, as long as open orders are on the market.

We have also some other features in our order matching engine, this limited/unlimited stuff is pretty basic. What's not basic is the opportunity to place as much orders as possible, if the needed balance is not available, the order will be "paused". When the balance is available and a matching order counterpart is found, the order will be matched and executed. This allows you to trigger whole "Buy and sell Chains", but also opens a new risk: "the automated money burning machine."

This happens when you have two orders that - in combination - result in a sure financial loss. For example, you have an old paused order "Buy 10000 Bitcoins for 700€/BTC", the order is paused because you have no Euro Balance. Then you add another order, which is "sell 10000 Bitcoins for 650€". This order could be executed (you have Bitcoins Balance, matching orders can be found) but would kill 50€ + transaction fees per Bitcoin (700 Buy, 650 Sell). We implemented a plausability check that is supposed to protect our participants from burning money by placing contradicting orders.

Edit:

Signed up, but have not received the confirmation email. I guess it will come soon. Great idea!
Did u receive the confirmation mail? If not, just give me a shout, "I'm helping" Smiley

Hello dear bitcointalkers,

we just launched our draglet Bitcoin bootcamp on https://www.draglet.com/en .

Our Bitcoin exchange game allows everybody interested in Bitcoin to dive into the trading activities of cryptographic currencies without taking the risk of financial losses. Each participant's balance will result in a personal score that determines his ranking. The first round (which started on 1st of December) will end on 1st of February 2014. At the end of the first round, one real Bitcoin will be distributed to the top 100 participants.

After registering for free, the participants are able to place the first orders. The aim of the game is to increase the starting capital, which is 100,000€ and 100 Bitcoin. The exchange rate will never deviate too far from the actual development of the Bitcoin exchange rate.

We provide a detailed FAQ which answers most questions about our Bitcoin exchange game.

Support is available by e-mail, IRC and plenty of feedbackboxes in the logged-in area.

Achievements coming soon! Smiley

Best regards,

Ben

I guess it is another 40% hike this time.. not worth investing any ASIC....

there are nice pictures of people on the website (some are even white) , so I'm sure its all trustworthy .

XD

Aahahhaah made my day.

I think a great deal of assessing one's trustworthyness is not only relying on the appearance but analysing the promises each firm did give in order to make promises to its customers regarding the ROI. Didn't cointerra screw this up?

We are behind the fastest growing digital currency in the world.

It doesn't matter who Satoshi is.

Yepyep.

It is the people, that:

- reflect upon the mechanics of bitcoin and try to contineously improve it
- create all those startups that will be the base that will be needed when bitcoin will be used mainstream
- talk to people that do not understand the concept, explain them and calmly show them why their fears are not really valid
- OFC all users/miners/geeks of Bitcoin Smiley
