61  Local / Mercado y Economía / Re: Nicolas Maduro pagará aguinaldos en petro on: January 05, 2020, 07:41:36 PM

Fuente: https://www.criptotendencias.com/petro/nicolas-maduro-anuncia-entrega-de-aguinaldos-en-petro-para-pensionadas-y-trabajadores-publicos-de-venezuela/

62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Affection of World War III to Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2020, 04:54:31 AM
If nukes are going to be bombed on most data centers and ISPs gateways, and the attack is serious enough to cripple everything business related, then you're probably right.

But if this war never escalated up to that point, there's no shutting down that would happen. Market would just crash. You also have to understand that internet is decentralized, as well as Bitcoin's network. It's a mesh network, and a shutdown on a specific place would not affect the others, it would continue to run, with or without those affected servers, if that location/server ever finds an alternative route of data to be accessed. Bitcoin would only shut down if each and every node is destroyed.

Also, I do believe wars happen in phases, and not just a single blow. The early stage, people, especially the powerful and rich ones, would find alternative place to store their wealth. And as long as there is a copy of bitcoin's ledger somewhere, his/her bitcoins would stay alive. That might be valuable after the war, and the digital age comes in. And that's one reason people might look into cryptocurrencies when the war has been declared.

The mid-stage, where countries bomb each other off, is where most companies are just closed, and no one really cares anymore than surviving.

Then the later stage comes in, where those who survives would have their funds store somewhere, assets that they still have, and since cryptocurrency isn't a physical, destroyable thing, it would still be existing.

It is the main fear of Internet users. If a third world war occurs, it will not bring anything good. Based on the history of past wars, as well as their consequences, the short answer is genocide, economic crisis, ghost towns, militarized schools and destroyed cities; We all hope this does not happen. Or many people, and even this market, will be greatly affected. Let us declare that this 2020 will bring prosperity and good things for everyone.
Me gustaría conocer experiencias y opiniones...
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: January 04, 2020, 03:29:42 PM
I think bitcoin has been one of the biggest innovations of the human in the past years. Many altcoins have been created after bitcoin. But none of  them have been successful as bitcoin is. Why is that?
Why no altcoin can replace bticoin?
Every new thing and every technology is usually replaced by a newer one as the world is always developing.

The first television built was mechanical, then electronic television were invented, then colour televisions, digital, 3D, ....
The first automobiles invented were steam-powered wheeled vehicles, then electric automobiles appeared. Now we have autonomous cars. Now we have Tesla model S. Now we have Lamborghini.
All of us know about the developments made in mobile phones.

Every thing is being developed. Every device is finally replaced by a newer one. Why no altcoin has replaced bitcoin till now? Do you think it will happen in future?
I personally think people will trust what Satoshi has created more than altcoins till many years later.
Altcoins are created to make the developers rich. But bitcoin is different. Bitcoin was created in favor of us. So, no altcoin can be trusted as bitcoin.

What do you think?
You are right, everything that man has created, little by little has been updated and improved, in order to meet the needs of the community, since every day we have more needs that we must meet. But in my opinion; I think that Bitcoin covers those needs, improved our quality of life and gave us security, since Bitcoin is technology and the future, so I think it could not be replaced, it is the best creation in history. Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin experience in 2019 on: January 04, 2020, 03:10:58 PM
Hey I'm back. haven't been on the forum for 1.5 yrs. Been on Twitter. But yeh 2019 was a good year for me in crypto.  1. I had too much in alt coins ,tron, and didn't gain much of it. My stack went all the way up. From btc. Then I saw my stack crashed down lol. It was amazing. But yeh still got a chunk back from hodling in 2017. I have been buying the whole year from 11k down. Little by little. I stayed for the 2020, 100k price well that didn't happen. Let's see the halvening now. Also stayed for the 1 million price prediction. I feel stocks is running n gunning at a good pace. But I'm still stacking satoshis.

Personally, I consider that the year 2019 had many surprises and opportunities, because the year 2019 brought with it a strong bullish momentum. Which this impulse had already begun at the end of December 2018, and extended until June 2019, month where a strong accumulation began that would change the bullish direction it brought. In April it was also the beginning month of a great bullish momentum in the cryptocurrency market in general. There was also a strong consolidation breakdown movement seen in Bitcoin; which managed to recover the positive expectation of the market, since the fall in capitalization was overwhelming. After the strong momentum, the price consolidated a bit in the form of a flag, but with a form contrary to the usual one, since in a bullish push it is expected that a flag will be seen as a bearish pullback. In May, the price made a volatile bearish movement, which ended up being just a candle with a large wick of rejection, reaffirming even more the control of buyers. Between mid-May and early June the price began to carry out bear formations.
At the beginning of June it seemed that Bitcoin was finishing forming a Shoulder Head Shoulder, however, the upward trend was stronger. June 2019 was the best month of the year for Bitcoin. This was the bullish momentum that caused the highest peak of the year so far. During the months, July, August and much of September, the price of Bitcoin was increasingly enclosed between increasingly lower peaks and a support that could not be broken. After the sharp break in support that kept Bitcoin consolidating for a long period of time, the downward trend was confirmed.
Finally I could conclude that 2019 had great advantages, but I am sure that this 2020 will be prosperous, and full of opportunities for everyone. We just have to be vigilant and take advantage of every movement.  Cool Cool

69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At this time buy and hold bitcoin smile in future on: September 28, 2018, 01:36:41 PM
I think this is the right time for getting a good profit in the future. I want to give to advise that it is a chance for the investor, now buy bitcoin and hold for some time and you know what to do you can sale your bitcoin when the price is high.

Investing in bitcoin will always be the best option. It would also be ideal to invest in anonymous projects that until now are starting because their value is low, and it would be a great opportunity to buy and when this value goes up there will be great rewards.
70  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon we would not need banks on: September 28, 2018, 04:33:45 AM
The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.

The world went crazy, because the cryptocurrencies are crazy and that is why they are unique. These are opportunities presented by the history of mankind so that a person can have more money than he ever thought he would have.

https://news.bitcoin.com/theymos-bitcoins-satoshi-destroyed/

78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: September 14, 2018, 02:32:31 AM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?

In my opinion, bitcoin could be the advance in a country as much economic as cultural and social, since it is based on a great technology, and that would help the society to advance every day, changing its perspectives, instead of being a regime of government. Bitcoin offers great opportunities, and if it manages to manage a country, it would be sensational...
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 07, 2018, 10:53:49 AM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

Most people use cryptocurrencies because it has been the best opportunity and change that has happened in their lives. And many countries have considered it. In my opinion, it is not long for cryptocurrencies to be in every corner of the world. Since this will be the answer to the successes that we have always sought.
