0.5% Incent for each invested amount.

The ICO technology that MobileGo will be using for their upcoming ICO was developed by Incent and will be managed by Incent as part of their ICO tech project.  New features in the ICO dashboard tech will mean that this ICO should proceed better than the previous ones.    Each MobileGo investor will receive a small percentage of Incent tokens to reward their participation in the crowdsale.   That will mean Incent being bought from the market in real time starting the day of the MobileGo ICO.  This means real buy pressure will come into play, positively impacting the value of Incent.   The level of investment in this ICO should set a new precedent, since interest is relatively high.

The truth is that there was a significant reserve of Incent that was acquired at a special discount by several investors who were willing to buy 15 or 25 or more bitcoin of Incent prior to the start of the ICO.  Clearly that early investment boost was crucial to meeting the target of their crowdsale, at a time when the Waves token ICO was a concept that still needed proving.   I think it might have been only 1 or 2 of those individuals who actually decided to sell that Incent on the exchange for profit.  There is nothing that could prevent that.   Given that they paid less for their Incent than anyone who bought during the ICO.   It was most noticeable when OpenLedger was the only exchange available.   Then you had a secondary sell off from people that bought those cheap Incent, then wanted to sell for profit given that Incent has risen in value since they bought it a couple months ago from the pre-ICO whale.   It looks like that action might be coming to an end though.  

 

The mobileGo ICO will most definitely influence the market for Incent compared to what it is now, which is currently just behaving as a purely speculative token.   However it is my understanding that the MobieGo ICO will run from April 25-May 24th, so wouldn't that mean that we would need to wait until the end of May before MobileGo's issuance of Incent would take place?

I would point out that for a significant number of people who invested in Incent, English is not their first language.   For myself, it was Rob's ability to communicate his ideas so well that first grabbed my attention.   So it is not necessarily a no-brainer for each person who has been trying to follow this project.  Still, I have to commend the people from far away countries who give this a chance.   I am probably the only person within a 300 mile radius of where I live who bought any of this.

At this moment you currently do have the opportunity to pick up some portions of Incent on cryptopia in the low 5000 satoshi range.  That is because the buy pressure is still relatively low, even though the sell side is trying to maintain it at 9000 satoshi. 

Given that support from Incent is suspended, will there be alternative arrangements set up in order to permit the distribution to resume?

I think that in fiat terms assuming current price of about 0.000045, it is very close to what your fiat cost would have been at the beginning of October 2016 if you were buying Incent at the 10,000 per bitcoin stage of the ICO.

Overall I would say that the the price on the exchanges has remained within a relatively similar range since the end of the ICO. I was able to pick up slightly more this week with my Incent buying allowance, but the value of bitcoin is also up.

Merchants should have absolutely no concern about the current price since the actual use of Incent with customer number 1 hasn't even started yet.   Only a tiny number of bitcointalk users are currently worried.

It means more altcoin mining revenue for buying Incent on Saturday  

Tokes ICO platform and distribution of tokens was handled by the Incent team.  That is Tokes was the very first project to use the exact same ICO platform technology that Incent developed for their own ICO.

I think the reason that Bittrex was so much on our minds is because a lot of us used Bittrex to obtain WAVES to invest in Incent's ICO.

There is no mining, it is a waves based token that is created all at once.

I can vouch that this is roughly what I am able to buy with my weekly mining allowance which falls close to that range.  The current market price to some extent is dictated by the pre-ICO special bonus offer to large value investors (50 bitcoins or more) at a rate of 24,000 tokens per bitcoin.    One of those guys has decided to act as a sort of bitcoin era Robin Hood, by supplying OpenLedger with tokens in that same price range so everyone can enjoy that deal.   

We're only partially through the distribution process, which includes some people only so far getting a portion of their alotment of tokens.   Don't forget that there is also the bonus Incent (1 percent of bitcoin amount invested).   That also has yet to be factored in and distributed.
