If you're communicating on Huawei phones, would use a confidential communication app as opposed to the default SMS app due to privacy concerns. Telegram, Sylo, Signal, WhatsApp(?) are good options.

ETH will probably overtake BTC at somepoint provided the crypto ecosystem continues to grow.

I've seen Sylo being presented at World Blockchain Summit 2018 and the cofounder Dorian was talking about its features and future plans. Glad to see they have progressed a lot in that direction and have an application already out in the market. Will be following you guys on Telegram to keep myself updated on the project.
Are you talking about this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xM1x6RSadLY

Where can I buy Sylo token?
It's not listed on exchanges yet. Oh, I thought it was. Any plans on when it will be listed? As said on their telegram channel, exchange listing will start 6-8 weeks after they finish their private sale. Thanks, I guess I need to join that group to keep myself updated. They have two telegram channels. One for discussion, one for announcements.

The biggest is problem is the governance that the networks have over your data. Taking it and then doing whatever the like with it. Projects like Sylo (check my post history) have a goal and an already working product to help take back our dependence on the main networks.

|
Why bitcoin specifically? You can use the ETH blockchain for this. Projects are already utilizing it.

What will be the difference between Sylo and Whatsapp for example, I do get the decentralization up to a point, is it safer?
It's safer and better for your privacy, as only you and the person you're chatting with will have access to your messages.

Are you hoarding physical cash, or in bank/other means?
If so I'm curious about your risk tolerance for bank failures. Here, at least they're not government backed and you can lose the money.

I have already read it and replied, then posted it in local French... which redirected me here because the discussion is more serious. Nothing is official in these claims. Thus no political party can take it on its own. Only the RIC is unanimous (and the purchasing power). Look what they're doing to us, 1mn video : Edit : @kenzawak already have summary it : (~) -The yellow vests are of course asking for more money but also for the right to interfere in the big decisions made by the State. They want what we call the RIC (if you get a petition signed by more than 700 000 people, a referendum has to be held). They also want Macron to resign but that will never happen. -Macron made a speech this week saying he would raise household purchasing powers but those measures are bullshit (all economists say so), completely fake and only here to try to calm people down and divide them.
One last thing, do not believe everything you hear in the French media. Most of them are controlled by "supporters" of Macron.
Thanks for sharing the video. I know that most of Europe is pretty socialist. Does that include Macron? How about the people rioting?

Decentralization and privacy are king. Projects like Monero, Sylo, ZenCash etc will help reclaim aspects of our privacy back. A good alternative to Google is DuckDuckGo.

If one pizza is $5 then that would make BTC worth $125000. One can hope.

I tried the application and I'm pretty impressed with what Sylo team has created. Of course it's not the full version so will be waiting for it.
Well it kinda is the full version of the current app. The current one is a full functional partially decentralized comms app, the upcoming DApp is fully decentralized with more features.

You know that traders buy and sell at every price level right?
If they bought at ETH at $80 and sold at $160 this week, that's a 100% return. Same as if they bought at $700 and sold at $1400.
