61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ ANN ] SATē - A new dawn - PoS - No Premine on: July 01, 2014, 01:31:14 AM
Any thoughts on what this coin will level out at

A couple pages back I called between 3-5k short term with a seamless transition... we seem to have had that, so I'm still confident that's the range.  There are a few folks here who seem to think we will get a big bump, but I just don't see it. There just isn't a catalyst for a rise.

Hopefully saturncoins, et all, keep grinding, and continue to build real, tangible value.

Either way, I'm holding my 200,000 Sat2 for sunnier days.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ ANN ] SATē - A new dawn - PoS - No Premine on: June 30, 2014, 12:01:24 AM
Where do we think the price will settle?

Somewhere between 3000 and 5000 Satoshi in the short term.  A little higher if the transition is smooth.

If the dev team keeps working and communicating, I can see us creeping up to 12,000, maybe even 15,000 over the next few weeks. Longer term, it's really a function of innovative development, adoption of the coin, etc.

This all assumes none of the P&D groups hit the coin. If they do, all bets are off. Could go to 60,70k overnight, and crash down to 1000 or lower just as quickly.

Why is it a rule that everytime this coin starts to rise, the trolls appear inmediatly at the thread?  Cheesy

Are you referring to me?

Not a troll, I, and my BTC are strong supporters of SAT.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ ANN ] SATē - A new dawn - PoS - No Premine on: June 26, 2014, 11:48:50 PM
considering how sat1 is converting to sat2 at 4-6 satoshi right now for sat1 its cheap as @#$%!!! sat2 should be worth 10k at least and has huuuuge potential to go way higher!! just to be clear every sat1 you buy at 5 satoshi your paying 5000satoshi per sat2! eeeeasy money!

I would not get too excited.  There is very little interest in this coin outside of this forum.  There is a lot of big news on other alts going around this week and into the weekend, Vericoin, Super, etc.

I am a large holder in SAT (~200,000,000 coins) and I am *hopeful* for its future, but understand that the 1000-1 rollback does not guarantee that it will skyrocket to 7000, 6000, or even hold at 4-5000.  The only thing for certain, is that 1 satoshi (or 1000 in SAT2) is no longer the floor once the rollback happens.  I don't think we will plummet, but the possibility is there if we have ANYTHING but a seamless transition to SAT2.

Fingers crossed, but I would not recommend anyone buy any SAT (or any crypto) with money you can't afford to lose.

Thanks for the update. I think we would all benefit from a little more communication, however.  Even just dropping in here and saying "hello" every couple of days would really help people who fear abandonment.

That being said, I'm with you on not posting news for news sake. I'm a pretty major holder of saturncoin (roughly 2% of all coins) so I would love some hype, but I totally understand the desire to actually create something along side profit.

Good luck, there are still a few of us rooting for you!

What's the POS specs.... interest %, min stake age etc? Couldnt find it on the OP.

+1!

Sitting on about 100,000,000 sats, and I would love to know this...

A large investor might be trying to move the market.. Sell walls create an impression of a strong supply. This makes some people, unwilling to wait for the wall to break down, pitch their sales offers below the wall. By moving the wall closer to the current bid again, a large investor might be able to move the market to a small extent and then buy at a lower price. The investor's goal is to move the market, not to actually sell his supply at that price, so when the price gets too close, such walls often disappear or move to a higher price. Especially, if you see the same amount popping up at different prices, there is probably someone trying to move the market without actually fulfilling orders or bids.

Just to clarify a question I always had after learning about the walls, will this have any effect on a non-sophisticated investors, that can not read these walls and only see the last trade price?
Charts like these will help anyone see the walls in real-time.

BC seems to be stuck at 34k.

Still some manipulators playing with 30-50 BTC walls.  Market seems pretty resilient against it, however...

Who will flinch first?

BC shows all the right technicals for a double arch breakout. Looks like we could be seeing a big move any moment.

I don't think the whales are done playing 36-31-36 yet.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: April 16, 2014, 11:07:01 PM
I hope everyone will noticed that the whales are manipulating the market right now.. they force them to sell their coins @ loss to earn more and more shares... jesus christ why aren't many getting this obvious trend.

I'm sure a lot of us here are riding these waves to make extra BC...

I know I am.

Whailes have filed ..now price will jump

It's a good sign that all we need for the price to start heading north again is someone with the means to put up a BTC wall. I think the main reason people have been selling is because they are just not sure how low the coin would go before buy support kicked back in and are taking a gamble. Allowing confidence to rebuild seems to be what is required to get us moving again. A very positive sign, people who sold are not going to want to miss the boat back up so will probably think twice about selling low now. They can see that at any point price can jump 20% and leave you having to either wait or buy back in at a loss. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a steady ascent!

I think we need another one or two tests of the low 20's before that 24 hour chart looks like true support, but we are close.

This will be +50% tommorow morning and 100% certain its over 100k before the weekend.

I'm seeing ~100k as a pretty logical spot for a pause, which would probably be a good thing... Then again, this ride has been far from logical.

Either way, I'm selling to recoup my initial 5BTC investment, and riding the rest to wherever it goes.

I'm just super happy that BC helped me recover my huge losses from stupidly gambling on Saturncoin.

I don't post here at all, so forgive my low post count.

Just a heads up, on your twitter page.  Rather than saying "One of the most fast and secure coins there is!", it should read "One of the fastest and most secure coins there is!" or even just "One of the fastest and most secure cryptocoins"

Cheers!

If my math is roughly right, with about 50 btc you can gain control of about 18 to 20 % of the coins in circulation at the price of 6-8 satoshi. That's counting in for the cheaper coins the buyers got when it was only 2-4 satoshi.

Yes, the sell walls are there for a reason - market and price control is one of them. Someone is eager to take control of the coins out there and move the market high in the near future.

No complaints from me Wink

Also, would it be too much to ask people to choose one 'main' exchange to raise saturn? Either cryptsy or mintpal, but diluting volumes is not a good idea.

MintPal seems to be the current leader in volume...  I'd be ok sticking with them...
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☆☆ [ANN] Saturncoin [SAT] - SOON ON CRYPTSY - MINTPAL EXCHANGE !!!! ☆☆ on: March 14, 2014, 04:08:42 PM
I've been a big supporter of Saturn from the start. However history showed us that all coins on cryptsy experience a tremendous decline by dumping. Any comments on why this would be any different?

I think the active trading on mintpal (With significant volume) the past while has somewhat insulated the price from dumpers.  Anyone looking to dump coins in the past week has likely done it already...

Same for LEAF on coinmarket.io. When it hit Cryptsy it went from 25 to 10. So any other suggestions?

Not sure about leaf, but was the volume really as high?  Yesterday alone, mintpal volume was somewhere in the neighborhood of 35% of the saturncoin market cap.

Yup, LEAF had 2 times the volume and a steady course of 25 SAT.

One thing to keep in mind in the cryptobusiness. Whatever everyone is thinking will happen, the opposite happens.

Hmmm.. Could it just be that Saturn has not been pumped enough to generate a big dump?  I don't really know...  I am in for about 5 BTC worth right now for between 5-9 satoshi, so I am comfortable with the current action.  I don't know that I am counting on 40 anytime soon, but at 15-17, I'll be profit taking for sure...

There is no whale, there are no walls, there is no pump. Aside from the people interested in investing, there are a few guys doing day-trading influencing the price. So far the price had gone up naturally (this is a VERY good thing, nobody to dump). That said if devs keep up the good work and community stays strong, price has lots of room to grow. Smiley

Yes the price is beeing pushed downwards so people can buy cheap, as soon as some scared people dumped their coins the prices go back to 10. I've seen this same thing a few times last 2 days.

24 Hour Volume:
54.168 BTC

absolutly just ordinary guys trading sure....

I don't think there is a ton of whale action.  Nearly 10% of that is me, and I assure you I am no whale...
