61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens? on: July 24, 2020, 07:01:42 AM
Honestly, there will be always some sort of risk involved while investing in new coins because of low liquidity at the start but if you have done your research thoroughly then I guess taking that risk will be worth it.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance lists Maker and Dai tokens amid DeFi boom on: July 24, 2020, 06:47:06 AM
DAI was one of my favourite stable coins and it's really nice to see a big exchange like Binance is adding DAI to their exchange hopefully soon other big exchanges will follow as well.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Check and select good Gas price (in Gwei) for your needs on: July 23, 2020, 06:39:30 AM
Didn't knew how congested the network was tonight and made a mistake of sending token without checking Ethgasstation and because of that mistake I had to wait for more than an hour for the network to confirm my transaction.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in Ripple? on: July 23, 2020, 06:32:51 AM
I am holding XRP for quite some time now but sadly lately I am not seeing much movements price-wise.
XRP does have a reputation of giving crazy profit suddenly that's the only reason I am holding a small bag of XRP.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: July 22, 2020, 05:04:02 AM
Can someone make it trading only altcoins?

Yes, it's very much possible to make a living just by trading alts but you need to have some lumpsum funds to do that because you need to have money to make money. I know a couple of guys who are a full-time trader on binance and they are making pretty sick dollars.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the oikos.cash project on: July 22, 2020, 04:54:07 AM
If I not mistaken this was the first DeFi project on the TRON chain and, it was doing good but, ever since Justin Sun made some unfair tweet about them the project is struggling (I am talking price-wise). I am still hopeful about the project though.

68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties managed by team themselves on: July 19, 2020, 06:17:33 AM
One of the biggest advantages of hiring a bounty manager is that they already have access to a huge community build around them and whenever they hire that bounty manager they will instantly get access to that community.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People still falls for Bitcoin doubling scheme and fake giveaways on: July 19, 2020, 06:11:14 AM
most people belive that kind of scam is very new to crypto world and just trying to invest their money on crypto money, i have friends that really new to crypto and he fall into this kind of scam he is sending about 0.3 btc to the scammer address with hope that scammer will send 2x of the amount to his address, really sad to see scammer take advantage of newbie that just trying to invest on crypto.

This money doubling scam is not new and even I once fell for a similar scam when I was new to crypto but luckily bitcoin was not that expensive that time like it is now so I just lost a small amount.

So if you are newbie you will always have to pay extra attention because scammers are lurking in every corner.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of USDT in the Crypto Market? on: July 18, 2020, 06:19:52 AM
I don't know why people do not give Tether the respect it deserves, I used to bash Tether like this before until the last bear market when I understand its role in the space, no company is perfect and the team never claim to be saint but it paves the way for stable coin market in the space, there is a reason why is still growing and people won't trust it to be holding it. The demand for USDT in developing countries is very high because people do trust it.

Well, I guess that mainly due to their lack of transparency and constantly printing $$$ some fear tether might collapse if someone from IRS audit their company. but agree we do need stable coins and right now USDT is the one that's accepted everywhere.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People still falls for Bitcoin doubling scheme and fake giveaways on: July 18, 2020, 06:01:25 AM

Many people become greed if they know how to make money, and many of them fall because of the simple trick, so they lose their money. They know how things work, but the greed tells them that they can make more bitcoin by joining in those programs, and they forget that it is only a scam without a new way or old way with some modification. We can hope that many people can learn from that, so they don't fall with that offer.
I have to disagree with your opinion. It's not true to say those people who got scammed are the ones who are greedy in making money. This is partly true but not completely true. Greedy can be a very dangerous factor affects people decisions in a bad way. However, lack of understanding, knowledge and experiences are the main reasons why people got scammed. I don't think any of us who have the fundamental knowledge and awareness about this market will fall in those scam tricks!
It's psychological just like how social engineering works people could affect someone's minds but doing certain action and in this case the scammer is using popular people's account that's already officially verified. If it's not for that I highly doubt those people who got their money stolen by making mistake sending money to the scammer's address will be tricked like that.

Well, true I guess if the same message would have come from some unofficial account then people would have paid more attention but seeing big accounts tweeting about giveaway made many people trust them and in the end, ended up losing money.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of USDT in the Crypto Market? on: July 17, 2020, 06:35:34 AM
There lot of uncertainties around stable coins these days with many central banks now proposing to ban stable coins 'coz according to them only they have a right to print money lol.

even if USDT becomes unusable there are tons of other stable coins out there to choose from.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are becoming like Bitcoin fees on: July 17, 2020, 06:20:01 AM
Contract fees are getting higher each day but still, they are not close to BTC fees I think. But transacting NFTs on the other hand using enjin wallet is getting a bit expensive these days yesterday I had to pay around $10 in fees too sell some collectibles lol.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 16, 2020, 05:53:13 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin?

There are lots of projects in crypto-verse that have huge potential.
Some project takes some time to grow were as some projects turn out to be a scam. That's the reason we should always be patient and thoroughly research the project you are investing in. The project that I think have huge potential are DMG and FET
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: July 16, 2020, 05:44:10 AM
I trust both of those coins a lot at least I know that they won't be losing their value anytime soon. I usually BNB on binance to get that extra % off on trading fees and I mostly use ETH to make payments because sending ETH is much faster than BTC lol.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bancor BNT- THE CASE OF 80 DOLLARS A COIN on: July 15, 2020, 06:23:55 AM
I love bancor coin and been trading and holding BNT ever since they had a token offering but $80 doesn't look possible to me. Though in the long long run I am hoping that price might reach around $10 but that target too is far away right now.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin market continues to gain momentum on: July 15, 2020, 06:14:42 AM
Yep! lately, altcoins are looking quite stable. I mean they do fall whenever BTC makes a quick up or down move but they recover quickly (probably in a day or two). I heard a few saying that this is just a mini bull run the main bull run by the year-end.

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: July 12, 2020, 06:31:15 AM
You are browsing through Twitter or telegram and you come in contact with news like this '𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝  Mr George Anderson ịt has been a life changing experience and a God sent to humanity 𝙞𝙣𝙗𝙤𝙭 𝙝im 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚'
Join link???

When ever you come across such it's a total scam, it's never real to begin with, it's just a fake good news to lure you into a trap, do not bother to read

The fact is people who make it big aren't always ready to share news about how they do it

Every day I find a similar kind of message in both my PM and telegram channels of which I am a member of. Many newbies don't realize that it's a scams attempt which will result in theft of their funds. We should always avoid joining such groups.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: July 12, 2020, 06:24:07 AM
Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it?

For long-term ETH is a really good coin to hold in my opinion. If you can hold it then I think you might be able to get some good profit in future when the FOMO hits for ETH 2.0 release. Only problem is there is no official release date yet.
