They are speculating that the price of bitcoin is going to the moon in the future.it can be true. The early adopters have great profit when they hold their bitcoin only costing cents before and now it's 1100+ .others are expecting that the same will happen in the future for them.
Yes, Indeed as per my projection it will reach 2000 by end of 2019, saving could be a good idea, again in this world one thing which is constant "change" so understanding about the fact that saving only cannot be the best idea, once you have sufficient knowledge about the btc investing and getting benefit from it will be the best option. Playing safe is a good option but it will not take to higher peak which most of the people expect or everyone expects. |

Not only you can use it for school bills, you can do many things with BTC, You can consider BTC as money not consider it is actually money, what you can do with money you can do with btc. Only difference is it will be digital currency. you can use it for other utilities like paying the bill, trading, investing,shopping much more, By the way paying school fees is a good idea, i wish school start accepting btc on coming days. |

We didnt stole any coins.
1. We lost our server guy, so its hard for us to maintain the boxes.
2. We were mining on the wrong fork with doge. So we paid out our real coins and ppl mined in forked ones.
Due to the fact that we cant hold the servers any longer, pls cash out until 30th october. We keep the servers running until then.

also the problems with CR have been solved. Due to the network problems, the pool paid out orphaned blocks, what puts us in a debt of 13 mil credits.
We bought enough coins back to refill the wallet of the pool and all coins have been paid out to the miners now.

Will CR pool ever be fixed? Seems to be hashing to the rhythm of its own blockchain (forked I assume); can't transfer coins. Not a big deal. I try it every so often just in case it came back to life.
Problem was: We did payout orphaned blocks as there was some fork in the chain. The orphaned were reported to late, so we are in debt of 13 million coins. I did buy that amount from my own pocket and transfered them to the pool as we speak. Payouts will run very soon. Im sorry for that. Mike |

I know multipools have been present on the scrypt algo, but there is another issue with the sha algo which I cant figure out.
For weeks now there is a 40TH/s miner on the poolerino pool, now thats way more speed than all the sha miners and all the pools as well.
What doesnt make sense is that this sucker never hits any blocks, I mean he should be hitting far more than anyone else but he never does, yet I can confirm he does get a piece of the pie when his pool hits a block.
Now I dont know if this is a multipool or an individual or some game played by the pool operators but none of this makes sense to me.
contact mike, it's most likely a fake share bug in the stratum implementation. Im guessing thats the dude behind the pool. Sent them an email. Hopefully its something innocent. naa its not possible. its been tested against that bug numerous times. that looks to me like a block witholding attack. (the same one that btcguild and eligius got hit by) So how do you stop something like that. Cant believe no one noticed it, especially the miners on that pool. fake share has been a big bug for a long time as we know and never resolved by dev and pool owners, miner could earn MYR coins always less than 75% value shown on the statistic data of pools, sometimes less than 50% of the statistic data. And now multipool problem raises, seems that Scryt and SHA algo had more blocks more than others, this is unfair to MYR miners who believe Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] with high innovations, but MYR becomes an unfair coin for losing balance to five alogs. Dev could you please face those problems and fix them? incorrect im the current dev of python stratum mining and zone117x is the dev of node stratum mining. neither stratum software is exploitable on sha256 or scrypt. theyre tried and tested algorithms. im 100% this is a block holding attack. (the litecoin network had a fake diff attack during mid 2013 where it was fixed by 1 of the ltc devs "pooler") I've seen the same phenomena on suchpool's sha-256 pool as well. They're running mpos like poolerino. Hopped on irc a few weeks ago and talked to the pool op. It turns out some dude was faking shares and not submitting blocks. He had over 60% rejected shares IIRC. The pool op said he was going to update their stratum and banned the user, but he got away with about 20k myr/day from the others that were mining there. Any pool ops reading this please take a look at your pools and see if there is anything fishy going on! Ahmed, I do understand that your stratums are quite well tested, I actually run zone117x's nomp myself for my soloing as well. But these attacks seem to be happening on MPOS pools. TBH I'd prefer is this just a recurring stratum attack rather than block withholding, which could have much farther reaching implications, especially with merged mining on the horizon. Thanks to the info from you, our miners, we also blocked the user who was abusing our mpos pool like that.
