Please note as we are already a credit provider of finance we would also consider any developers who would like to develop any of the domains into websites with mutual partnership/benefits.

Would also consider joint venture or partnership with any other lenders wishing to consider lending in the bitcoin/altcoin space.

Hi Franko Lovers.

Just joined Franko and after much research I believe it to be a long term coin with merit and will be following it greatly.

Well done development team.

Its like the no nonsense coin imo.

FAatHjXH7zigcJD78mc9nyQ8nuQ3zv5CwF

I created the single wallet address, (paper wallet) FAatHjXH7zigcJD78mc9nyQ8nuQ3zv5CwF

but how does one get to the paperwallet?

yes I do have the private key too and printed that off as suggested.

Is that it?

69  Economy / Lending / Re: [Large Loan Request] Will verify ID and proof of ability to pay through John K. on: November 25, 2013, 10:06:30 PM

Might be a decent business to start leasing out mining equipment to the miners as a lot of loan requests seem to be from miners looking to buy the mining equipment outright.

 Smiley

What about rent-a-center for Mining equipment? We can get the uneducated in on Bitcoin!

lol rent a centre.

If you reference it to say the Australian stock market (lots of mining companies in it) the mining services companies (who provide the mining equipment) have made 10 x that of the mining companies themselves in revenue less costs on a % of return scale.

The issue it seems is that a) the mining equipment only has a short mining life and b) hard to get hands on the right equipment quickly.

Overcome those two and it could be a goer.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Masses are Coming! The Masses are Coming! DON'T sell. on: November 25, 2013, 09:21:42 AM
just curious...what is ixCoin actually used for?.. where is it being used in the real world and for what?.. or is this purely speculation?

It is Vlads mad dream, I dont think ixcoin even has development support.

Correct, the dev abandoned ixCoin (much like Satoshi) and this is a huge bonus when it comes to bank or govt involvement or an ETF 2.0.  Don't worry, govt and banks will own Bitcoin in due time but they can do it much quicker with ixCoin.

No dev means nobody to hassle with like all the headaches Bitcoin's foundation (and dark wallet) is giving the govt and banks right now.  Govt and banks will love ixCoin and since it's just like Bitcoin it would make it an easy target which they can then easily sell to the unsuspecting masses as the next Bitcoin or at the very least an ETF 2.0 after Bitcoin gets its ETF license.

Yeah but why would they bother with IXcoin when it takes nothing to create another coin, could even be exactly the same as ixcoin but different name.

The masses trust an old coin much more than a new coin and if there's an old coin just like Bitcoin laying around ad with no dev which could be much more easily sold off as a legit coin and not some government plan to enclave you why then would they create a new coin nobody would touch while giving themselves away?

"The masses trust an old coin much more than a new coin"

The "masses" as you put it will be coming in over the next 30-90 days using your timeframe.

I'll assume by that you mean the "non techies" which is fine.

But what will alert new buyers to the fact to which coin may be oldest or newest?

As you know the flock wont really have a clue too much about how long one has been in the mix, they will more than likely look at the top 5-10 on the list, and anything below that will probably be brushed aside, IMO.

Investors with any clout will struggle to choose an altcoin (non BTC) due to the fact he/she would have to spend months trying to evaluate each on its merits, which they wont imo, well not to begin with.

The first one logically, a potential buyer will look at is BTC, as it is the only one noted in the news world wide and the root cause of this phenomena.

IXcoin may be the bees knees as you suggest, but saying that the government may/will take that one over is just an absolute hypothetical with no basis, imo.

I do agree that altcoins and BTC still have higher to climb, but saying to buy IXcoin because it is an old coin, well, I just do not see the relevance, and neither will new buyers.

It may be and old coin, but could do with at very least a working website?

There are no dev support on the IXcoin as it is probaly a scam.

I noticed 400k plus were premined?

Sound to me more like you are stuck in there with 650,000 plus coins trying to find your way out?

Nothing personal, just my observations.

73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question for those who've successfully cashed out large amounts of BTC on: November 25, 2013, 08:38:50 AM
You could simply find a willing buyer (not through an exchange), although would possibly have to offer a low price or better price than the exchanges if selling all in one go ie: $1m worth, and do the deal using an escrow service, swapping BTC for your chosen fiat, assuming the buyer was in a country that used the same fiat as you required.

74  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a trusted partner in the United States on: November 25, 2013, 08:21:33 AM
Thank you everyone for your PMs.  At this point I am no longer looking for a partner in the US.

I am looking into the Puerto Rico idea though.

Hi Vod

Have a lending background in Australia, may have an interest in your partnership.

Feel free to PM or elaborate further on your proposal/idea here.

Are looking to setup online pawn using digital currency, is that the gist of it?

cheers.
75  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Larger personal loan for long term needed w life insurance as collateral on: November 25, 2013, 08:11:45 AM
You mentioned that your insurer wanted to or was seeking payment back, I assume for the costs they covered associated with your illness, as they believe it was a pre-existing condition, is this correct?

If yes, how much is owed to them?

76  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: InsuredCoin.com - A platform to insure BitCoin transactions on: November 25, 2013, 06:15:53 AM
Hi muftimoh

You certainly are correct here with the issues regarding bitcoin and the need to have some for of insurance available.

From reading your site briefly, it seems you are leaning towards the insuring of the businesses that operate using bitcoin.

Im sure by doing so, it would provide the knock-on effect of less individual losses too, when the business they are providing bitcoins too would be somewhat safer (insured)....perhaps an "insured" sign for the site.

The model definitely needs consideration further, the issues will be how to interpret a proposed clients business acumen and stability/ security measures to enable an insurance premium to be set.

You stated that the companys that are insured would need to limit their hold of BTC to the insured amount (or then would not be insured obviously) as they have breached their limit.

I guess the insured could add insurance as their business grows, as ultimately with insurance one would hope those insured would grow and prosper (require higher insurance) due to their expansion (accepting more customer/ using more BTC through their business).

I have some ideas too, but I think you have put together a good starting point.

Raising of enough BTC/ liquidity is also the sisue, but could be addressed over time.

From small things, big things grow as they say.

Having a relevant financial background, this would certainly be something I would like to discuss further.

Nice start, wish you well and if you like to chat further please feel free to post or PM.

Cheers.

78  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: CoinLenders Lawsuit on: November 25, 2013, 01:54:32 AM
Below is an email from an attorney in Sydney who I found through on online search so I cannot personally vouch for him or his law firm although his resume looks respectible.

Date: Fri, 22 Nov 2013 17:36:54 +1100
Subject: RE: Action Required:

Dear [dwdoc]:

Thank you for your email.

Having regard to the cost of pursuing a claim for USD 100,000 or so in this jurisdiction (which, frankly, would be out of all proportion to the amount in dispute as commercial litigation is very expensive here), I think that it would be much better to explore the possibility of bringing a class action together with other complainants from the bitcoin community.  Although there are differences, class actions work in Australia in a way which is broadly similar to how they work in the USA.

I should also mention that lawyers in this jurisdiction are prohibited by law from acting on a contingency fee basis (i.e. to enter into a costs agreement whereby the amount payable to the law practice was calculated by reference to the amount of any award or settlement that may be recovered in any proceedings to which the agreement related).

However, some firms in this jurisdiction (ours not being one) are content to act on a “no win, no fee” basis.

Class actions here are often financed by litigation funders, which will pay all of the costs of the action but will expect a “success fee” which is typically between 25% and 45% of what is recovered.  The leading Australian litigation funder is IMF:

http://www.imf.com.au/

We know the senior personnel at IMF (including their Chairman and Managing Director) very well and we could facilitate an introduction if you were able to assemble sufficient other complainants to get a class action together.  In that regard, one would normally need at least 7 plaintiffs in order to commence a class action but IMF operates at the big end of the market and is generally interested only in claims worth $5 million or more.  There may, however, be other litigation funders who would be interested.

Regards,

EDIT: Attorney has asked me to remove public display of his contact information at this early stage until level of interest is determined. PM me for details if desired.

Thoughts? Alternatives?

If this lawsuit is an option for you then please alert gaston909 or post here. He is keeping track of CL balances due.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=86471

IMF are very good at what they do and are a listed entity on the ASX (Australian stock exchange)

Im unsure if they would be willing to take on this case, as the inherent issue with BTC is the anonymity of accounts, therefore IMF may not deem this class action as worthwhile and the likelihood of a result low.

Also, IMF usually deal in class actions where by there is sufficient capital to return (normally against a company with listed shares or the like)

That being said, as a backup or two pronged approach, you could enter into an arrangement with a debt collection agency in Australia as well.

As this is a debt collection type situation, most will work on a no return/ no fee approach.

Have actually spoken to a debt collection agency on your behalf just to see their feelings on the matter at hand.

They are happy to work on a no win/no fee basis and would initially find out if TF has assets/shares, anything of substance by doing some background checks.

At least this way you will have some idea what you are dealing with and is/does he have any assets!

If this is a way you may wish to pursue, please feel free to let me know and I will put you in touch with the guy I have spoken to.

He said initially he would require a) List of who is a creditor, amount owed, contact details etc. and b) document of what is known about TF, whereabouts, age, contact numbers, blockchain numbers used etc.

PS: Have not had any response from TF regarding purchase of CL, so we have decided to bring our own product to market over the coming weeks.

Here if you need any help, cheers.

What kinds of accounts that can be use as collateral?
Accounts with over 50 post.

Perhaps you could just pay people .01BTC to setup new accounts and post 50 times?

 Shocked
