It's a great project as outlined by the other posts on here. I've earnt about 5000xrp and helped contribute to something that is actually important outside of the scope of personal benefit.

I have a few Scharmbeck fee shares and I'm really excited by the future for both WDC and Scharmbeck. I'm not in the initial beta, but will hopefully be included in the rolling beta- the one thing for me that is disappointing is the required trust to be able to deposit via CC. For the longest time I've had to use Virwox which as many people would know is a train-wreck of conversion fees. I'd love a direct payment into WDC via a credit card but it will take a considerable amount of use to be trusted to that degree. As I'm not in the US the bank deposit stuff isn't an option. I have a local version of something like Coinbase that I can use, but there is still ultimately a conversion from BTC to WDC. I understand the risk involved with credit cards so this is by no means a complaint about Scharmbeck, but it would be great if someone other than Virwox could offer such a service. Getting fiat into cryptos has come along way, but its still an arduous task for a number of people outside of the US.

Interesting move, not bad considering the rate that fee share stocks like Cryptsy are currently trading for- a 15% fee share return is fairly decent. I wonder what their daily trading profit is? Of course, you've got withdrawal fees to consider as well as the safety of having large amounts of coin on an exchange (personally, I have 90% of my coins in wallets and will continue to do so).

Nice idea for a giveaway! Simply put (and hopefully this isn't too simple) but I like the name- alludes to a futuristic form of gold, which is exactly what it should become! Rarity is always an asset in a crypto imo- I'd rather own 0.1 of CGB than some of the other hyper-inflated currencies. My CGB wallet: 5o5iTwSGMc83RT44WoFG9hzRzy1SYdj8i3 Thanks very much!!

Does this need to be an officially posted article, or could we submit some text for you for promotional use etc? Or alternatively in blog form? I write for some art publications but I think that Bitbar might be a bit beyond their readership!

Hi, enjoyed reading about the mining monitor project from @sradics. The link project looks interesting in a broader crypto sense too- nice to see the newsletter placing feathercoin in the bigger crypto picture!

Interesting- I'm an artist/designer and I was rather certain that I'd seen the design somewhere else before too. This really is still the wild west in terms of crypto start-ups- for every three investments I make, I almost expect one to fold. Will be interesting to hear more opinions about CoinMart and the people behind it.

I think 2014 will be the year where all these crap altcoins will start fading away, and the strongest ones are left. It's all a matter of survival of the strongest
Agreed- and I think that BTC really is the cornerstone- everyone should have that as a large position of their portfolio- when mass adoption comes that's where money is going to be funneling. There are a few key alt's and it's fairly clear that the like's LTC, NMC, PPC are here to stay and will produce great returns and have potential in their various uses. The newer alts are more of a crapshot, but it's good to have your hand in the ones with a community and some unique potential.

This really is the beginning point. If it reaches mass adoption we really are at the starting point still, relative to where prices (and perhaps more importantly, use) are going to go. Keep accumulating as much as you can!
