I think etc will outperform eth the next 6 months. There is definitive more sell pressure from eth holders with heavy bags (ICOs). And the coinbase listing of etc it is not fully priced in yet.

Most people loose money trading, its not just you. Trading is not a zero sum game. The exchanges earns billions in fees and you compete against professional traders. You can get lucky, but you much much much more likely to loose.
Quit trading, unless you really want to do the work necessarily to gain en edge. It is extremly difficult and hard work and you will most likely never make it.

SwC has posted for how long that the new software is coming? If anything, mentioning other sites software, should help motivate them to release it even sooner.
We're sure it's amazing and they will tackle those customer support issues after it launches.
Seriously though, dont care who takes the bitcoin poker crown, SwC has just as good of a chance as any other bitcoin poker site currently.
Yeah, I don't believe in SwC future either. SwC could have been huge now if they hadn't screwed up. Maybe the founders got to rich to care about their business. |

What is it? Wasn't looking for huge derail on this thread but it IS a poker site in beta with a few tables running daily. Highest game is like 100k-200k satoshis that runs 2-3 times a week.
It might become a poker site. But it is really more of a proof of concept now. I don't think it serves the project well spamming about it in other threads. |

Wait until it is out of beta, the hud thing is probably not a feature that will be added, since you can play anonymously... They create an anonymous account and give everyone free chips from the faucet (without any sign up process) so it's a little different.
For mobile, it plays pretty well compared to a lot. Those that want huds and multi-tabling would definitely not like the site though, agreed.

I am having trouble with wallet now. i have had it staking for the last two months since i did paperwork for friexchange. all of a sudden on aug 13 my wallet will not stay in sync. what is happening? does anyone know, i need to fix wallet.

Just remember that after a coin has lost 95% of its value. It can easily loose 95% of its value again. And again.
An example:
DeepOnion peaked at $19.25. It lost 95% of its value and traded for $0,9625
It is now traded at $0,3055 and has lost another 68,2% of its value.
If you had invested $100 on the top, you would have $5 left after the 95% drop. And $1,59 today. It is not necessarily smart to buy the dip. Until it is.

Long term the chance of ethereum dying is much higher than the chance of litecoin dying.
But eth also got the potential for a much higher price increase short term.
If I had to hold only one of them long term it would be litecoin. If I had to hold both I would go 70/30 litecoin/eth.

Needs more trading activity. Seems to have stalled.  There is just no buyers. And that is really not that strange considering the current state of the market overall and caps position. Not much sellers either. Speaking from my own experience as a trader, the current state of the market is an excellent time for trading even more so and not just when things are going well. Of course there's no selling. There's literally no buy support. If someone put up a 1 btc buy order at 5 satoshi it would be filled fast. |

It is really strange that no one bothers to update the community on whats going on. For those who wonder, I think cryptopia/mec have been attacked in a similar to what happened to bottlecaps some months ago. Look at the bottlecaps thread some pages back for an explanation. Someone have deposited lots of mec, sold it, withdrawn btc, rolled back the mec blockchain. This means: 1.Cryptopia have lost a lot of btc. 2.Cryptopia don't have enough mec to cover their customers balances. If you have mec on cryptopia now the coins don't exist. |

I think Ethereum Classic price should be $50+ now, and if reached bitcoincash no. of market pairs, it's price should be $100+
Ethereum Classic is one of the strongest crypto and yet still undervalued. But anytime, after it was listed in coinbase,
it's price will spiked high soon.
A better way to compare is btc-bcash ratio and eth-etc ratio. It is currently:' 6464 - 602: 0,0931311881 362 - 14,99: 0,0414088398 If the eth-etc ratio was the same as btc-bcash, etc would be $33,7 and 0,00521 btc |

eBTC got a great name, is listed on good exchanges, had a fair airdrop and have been distributed widely through the past pumps and dumps. Good to see new development. I wouldn't be suprised to see a new all time high in some months. |

It is nearly impossible to not panic. It feels much more natural to buy something when it is mooning. And it is easier to sell when it's at the bottom after a crash. We are driven be greed. Most people loose in the long run trading vs holding.

I purchased some CAPS on Cryptopia and now just waiting on them to fix the wallet so we can withdraw. I hope that it is soon as I want to get staking these coins. I also think Tradesatoshi should be contacted to see if they can get on the right chain and then we'll have 2 exchanges up and running. I have used Tradesatsohi many times and never had any problems so maybe this is worth trying.
