61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: August 26, 2020, 10:44:45 PM

Most of bountys that paid in stablecoins just paid you a really small amount which is not worthy for my time. ....

in fact, the salary in btc eth or others is usually much lower than the promised thousands of dollars in unlisted anywhere tokens ... the difference is that a dozen or so dozen dollars is certain and those thousands of dollars are pie in the sky  and the chance for them is very small

@cryptovigi im bit interested on this one and might consider to check it out.

You definietely should try it - the advantage of this project is that to start mining you do not need strong equipment, nor a lot of time ... and a few dozen extra $ per month is always a nice touch ...
you can have a look at my earnings post on another thread:

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: August 23, 2020, 11:59:06 PM

Sorry folks, but paying bounty hunters in stable coins can at best be limited to a tiny percentage of projects.
Why? It's simple, most starts only with an idea and without cash, so the only solution is to pay bounty hunters' salaries from your own tokens because they are not real costs. And you, being a bounty hunter, have a choice - trust the project (if you've done research) and take a risk for the potential big profits or go to the side of a safer project that will pay you less but in btc ... your risk your choice ...

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: August 23, 2020, 08:13:04 PM
Hi,
I see that there are 95% dissatisfied airdrop and bounty participants due to low earnings, so lets find something what can be profitable nowadays.
I have googled some earning methods and I have found something similiar to bounty campaigns - MaxBounty website, here you promote real business, but you need real conversions, so it seems like more difficult to earn some money. Do you have some good tips for us how to earn money in a time of crypto crysis?

Thanks!

Recently, I have not participated in many campaigns, but in 2018-2019 I have taken part in many. What I Learned that more than 90% of new projects do not pay any rewards and if I do, they will turn out to be worthless tokens. In my case, only one fresh project actually made some profit. Later I changed tactics and instead of throwing myself on every project promising hundreds or thousands of dollars, I focused on campaigns organized by trusted managers (Hhampuz,    yahoo62278 etc.) who pay in BTC. The profits may not be overwhelming like the promises of others BUT ARE CERTAIN.

Now, as you can see, I have the signature of a project unknown to most of you, but I have been participating in it as a miner for months and what also important it's already listed on 2 exchanges,  so I can also be sure that the tokens that I will receive have real value

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will you do with you 4gb GPUs when you cannot mine ETH anymore? on: August 23, 2020, 04:38:14 PM
I will mine KawPow! Actually some 4GB already show higher profit exactly on KawPow.

It could be not as easy as you think....

Notice how the difference is in nethash ETH and RVN is almost 100 times more, so what does that mean? If only 1% Ethereum nethash goes to mining RavenCoin, the mining difficulty will increase by 100%, and if 2% from ETH goes to the RVN side, your current mining profit will drop to 1/3 todays...

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to mine Altcoins using VPS? on: August 23, 2020, 04:15:23 PM
...
Ring  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/darwinia-network/

Not sure if that RING is the right one though but it can be mined I suppose.

But do you mean the standard droplet of digitalocean is enough?

The ring coin I was talking about is a different coin than the one you provided. This is fresh coin not even listed on coinmarketcap yet, and you can read about it here: https://ringcoin.tech/
Being honest I gave it only as an example - I used my vps to mine it because I had free resources and wanted to check how mining via VPS can looks like.  Unfortunately, I am not able to say about the profitability of mining because ~ 4 coins that I have mined are not listed on any exchange yet...

Nevertheless, I think mining with VPS is very expensive. Cheap VPS for a 5 - 20 dollars usually have very weak processors and for a reasonable one you have to pay a lot, so it is probably more efficient to mine with a regular PC, especially if it has an AMD processor with several cores

$0.4 * 12 Bat = $4.8

In exchange for your KYC, you've earned that within a month. Brave is the winner.

but if you don't do KYC you won't get your tokens so ... Brave also wins

by the way, I wonder what part of the earnings that brave receives from companies that put their ads is actually shared with users in  BAT tokens 5% - 10%, certainly not more ...
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Security in Crypto Matters? on: August 23, 2020, 11:23:17 AM

Considering that this amount is only official data, I am afraid to think how much was really. Certainly, thousands of people who have been stretched for smaller amounts probably have not reported it anywhere, being ashamed of their stupidity or greed, so the real number must be much higher ....
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: August 22, 2020, 11:41:44 PM

... And the fact that most De-Fi tokens projects are being held in by top 500 holder addresses.

Damn! it surprised me ... most of the projects concentrated among 500 addresses / users, so unfortunately their real decentralization does not look good ... In this case maybe we should call most of them rather CeFi - Centralized Finance

70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will you do with you 4gb GPUs when you cannot mine ETH anymore? on: August 22, 2020, 11:27:06 PM

So good times are ahead for players - after all, good FPS cards in games will be available in abundance at great prices.
Of course, ETH is not the only coin in which you can use fast gpu, so probably some of them will go to the mining of less popular coins, but players will also benefit from the change in ETH which comes ...

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new only CPU mineable coin - Hacash (HAC) on: August 22, 2020, 11:12:41 PM

thanx for sharing the windows miner and started mining. do we have any benchmarks for the CPU's ? Is AMD better that Intel ? would love to have a view on that.

You can check cpu performance on this page: https://monerobenchmarks.info/

it concerns monero mining, so the cryptonight mechanism, but it gives an idea of how effective cpu can be

72  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: August 22, 2020, 11:00:34 PM
$ 200 a month is quite a lot but I have one idea for you.

Idena.
Most of you will think that it only advertises a signature project, luckily the idena is a blockchain so anyone can check if I'm telling the truth ;-)

so:

1. prize from mining: currently 2564 nodes online so 25,920 / 2564 = 10,109 coins per day * 30 = 303.27 coins per month

2. 2 x validation reward (currently validation is every two weeks) ~ 47 coins x 2 gives 94 coins

3.flip reward 17,693 coins for each flip minimum 3 maximum 5 (with human status) which gives from ~ 53 to 88 coins (x2 validations per month) from ~ 106 to ~ 176 coins per month

so only from this we have up to 573 coins (the current iDNA coin rate is $ 0.27) what makes ~ $ 150

4. additionally, we have a chance to invite others to the Idena project and if the user we invite undergoes the validation process, we will get ~ 47 coins for the first validation, 3 times more for the second and 6 times more for the third ...
so with a maximum of two invitations from trusted people, every two weeks we can get an additional 2x47 (first validation) + 2x141 (second validation) + 2 x282 coins (third validation) , i.e. together with a lot of luck 940 coins x 2 validations which can give you 1880 coins a month ~ $ 507 but let's be honest it is not easy to find 4 users each month who will pass 3 validations in a row so let's assume that only 25% of them (i.e. 1 of 4) will pass 3 validations what gives ~ $ 127 per month

So together we have from ~ $ 650 a month (but let's be honest it's very difficult and unlikely) to ~ $ 277 a month - definitely achievable.
Since Idena is blockchain everything I wrote here can be checked, for example, at https://scan.idena.io/epoch/52/rewards but remember that they are based on today's Idena rate so they may go up or down if the coin rate changes.

I wrote well about profits but what about costs?

time: for each validation you need to prepare 3-5 flips making a good one may take 15-30 minutes, so up to 45 minutes up to 2.5h twice a month and an additional 20-30 minutes for validation (x 2 validations per month) so we spend 2.5 to 6 hours per month.
mining costs: i.e. electricity or VPS, about $ 5 per month

73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can IDENA price touch $1 ? on: August 22, 2020, 09:53:49 AM
...
if the market is still bullish and IDENA enters the top exchanger maybe they can get to $ 1,
but don't expect too high, because ROI has also gone up, for investors it is very profitable

if you mean ROI for the Idena of "mining" ~ $ 100+ for user per month remember that a high ROI will undoubtedly attract more miners, which will result in a significant drop in mining per person ...

But if you mean investors who bought Idena in the last weeks, they actually - they have already earned ~ 400% so to keep the trend it will be necessary to increase awareness of the project (marketing) and  daily volume. I hope that the listing on top tier exchange (promised for a long time) will do the job

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: August 22, 2020, 09:26:18 AM

I am impressed with how many people give great advice on this threat. Unfortunately, nobody checked if the thread is still up-to-date ;-)

The OP has long since thanked for the advice and made his investment almost year ago...

thanks for all the replies guys buy my quick money I meant I will not touch the invest until atleast 4-5 months have passed

What's more, he has not looked at this thread himself (or on the forum in general) for eight months so advising him does not make much sense

75  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] DeFi Projects & Tokens on: August 21, 2020, 07:22:10 PM

@Ratimov you have prepared a really long list of projects, I honestly had no idea that there are so many of them. Unfortunately for you, on the wave of recent DeFi increases, updating this list on a regular basis may be an extremely difficult task because now new ones are springing up like mushrooms
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: August 21, 2020, 07:00:40 PM
Smells a lot like 2018 doesn't it?

exactly people have scent the money and they all pretend to be part of this ecosystem ....
But it rather reminds me days of the dot.com bubble from the end of the XXth century (I'm probably one of the very few here who remember it) then the shares of every company that announced that they were entering the dot.coms or even IT business soared. I perfectly remember a shoe manufacturer who announced that he decided not to produce shoes anymore and is moving to the IT business - his shares jumped 10 times during the week ... why do I remember it so well? Because I bought on top .... ;-/

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Rewards on: August 21, 2020, 06:45:32 PM
... you can earn 5$ per month if you use this browser for full month...

$ 5 per month compared to my ~ 70 cents for 4 months is definitely better ... What country are you from, if you can ask because I heard that the number of ads and the rewards for them vary greatly depending on the country in which brave is used ...
I think advertising in Poland is among the worst paid .....
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] IDENA - Signature Campaign [Weekly Payment - Limited] on: August 18, 2020, 12:23:44 PM
...
I respectfully withdraw from participation of this campaign(my name never made it on list anyway). I cant figure it out how to work things. This will make it difficult for your coin going forward I assume. It is not at all user-friendly. But good luck all the same.

The last straw was trying to get validated and having the guys tell me to make a pictorial story with the 2 words: tooth, east....with four pictures as the story. Cant be serious. I think they were punking me, honestly.

it is a pity that you did not spend a few minutes to read the assumptions of the project on the idena.io website Then after a few minutes you would definitely know what the coin is about and what the creation of picture stories should serve and why it is so important (probably you would be surprised but they secure the network against AI attacks).

well some people prefer to write than read ;-)

79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] IDENA - Signature Campaign [Weekly Payment - Limited] on: August 18, 2020, 10:18:04 AM
...
Yes, on the 17th I did the calculations.  The first week was like that too.
This is done to make it more efficient and it does not take another day to do calculations and so that payments can be received immediately by signature participants.
Try the day before the last date you have completed your 15 posts.

You're the boss, so you set the rules, but it's a pity you don't stick to them yourself. maybe it is more convenient to count the results before the end of the announced week, but it would be good to inform the participants about it before you did it .....
It is like making a contract by the end of the month, but breaking it if someone does not fulfill it before half the month.

Following this lead, you might as well calculate the weekly results after 5 or even 3 days, maybe it would be even more convenient.

I'm a fan of Idena so I'm going to keep wearing its signature but I think it was unfair.

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Rewards on: August 17, 2020, 09:18:34 PM

I have been using the brave browser for several months and so far I have only collected 2.5 BAT which for today is 77 cents! At this rate, I collect 8-10 tokens per year. I believe that my personal data is definitely more valuable than $ 3 a year. So if someone does not want to use this wallet for other cryptocurrencies, the reward they give for our personal data is definitely too small.
