For me, it depends on the market's situation, If the market shows bullish pattern I'll do some short-term trades but if the market gets unstable I switch to my long-term investments

Yes, hopefully you will do that. ti could be great if all traders really is knowledgeable about BTCTC or crypto in general so they will spread the right news and not just spread hype.
BTCTC/Altcoin might be the best choice, also adding ETH/Altcoin pairs might be a smart choice.
Adding some erc-20 tokens might be interesting too.
Hmmm. Trading might be a combination of luck and skill, there will be a time that unexpected/unpredicted breakout will happen.
Umm. Trader's golden rule "buy low sell high". In regards to exhcange or wallet, if you're into short-term trades you need to use exchanges so it is much easier to buy and sell and wallet for long-term trades.

Here's a helpful tip, stay away from a free ICO rating platform, there has been many issue lately that ratings are being sold. Be careful.
I agree on this one, majority of the ICOs that I have participated in are all using eth blockchain. Hopefully ETH will continue its momentum.

Nobody knows. Look at the coins that were in 2013 (top 10), only 2 of them are now on the top and you can hear about them, it's bitcoin and lightcoin. Our words will not be backed up by any facts, it's just a lie. There is no sense in writing about what will happen in 5 years, because everything can change in one day!
Agreed, no one can predict the exact future prices of the coins. specially 5 years, that is just ridiculous. we should discus the coin in quarterly manner.
I don't think altcoins could give a 100x in profit, I suggest participating in an ICO, it is riskier but only if you don't know how to do a proper research.
This information is quite useful, we could use this to spread awareness because many investors now specially the new ones are scared to enter ICOs because of scam ICOs.
Great dedication, same. If you think you lost to much, then don't blame the market it was your fault don't let the market play/fool you, use the market's rapid volatility in your favor.
I will if only I really need the money, for example an emergency. Hence, I prefer to hodl and use it in my day trades.
If you just started trading the lower the better, because you will surely lose a trade, so minimize the loss.
I'm more of a long-term trader, I stopped day trading because of the on-going unstable market. would be back if the market recovers
If you want to get better in your day trading, master technical analysis, and by using some proven day trading strategies
I wouldn't use technical analysis in long-term, I would prefer using fundamental analysis in long-term. Technical analysis is great used in day trading.
Not an expert but I suggest that you should focus your trades in BTCTC/Altcoin pairs
Discipline is the key, don't stick to "the bigger the risk the bigger the reward" in every trade minimize the risk as possible, good luck
Would choose both,
If I were you the profit that I am earning in my day trades, I will save 'em all and at some point if I saw a good coin with a good buying opportunity then I'll use the profit earned in trading.
At first, my strategy was all-in, buy all and sell all in one order. but I realized that strategy was way too risky, thankfully I found some great trading strategy advice here in bitcointalk. this strategy of yours(buy some, sell some, hodl some) is great.
