61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: May 31, 2018, 08:38:36 AM
If you want your money to be stable, you could keep it at some stable coins or a bank. But if you put it in crypto, the value might plunge when you needed it the most. So, it's up to you, after all, money management relies on personal preferences of different people. Always set aside emergency funds.

good comment that sums it all up

Online shopping is very good for me because I hate shopping. It facilitates our life. Also, it is good for crypto currencies because we may use them in some websites.

Actually yes, using crypto currencies makes online shopping much more interesting, there are just so few sites that that accept that

I quote my wife here: "Online shopping is by far the best thing about the internet!"

It seems your wife has not looked into crypto yet?
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: ONE WISH IN YOUR LIFE on: May 26, 2018, 06:25:08 AM
My biggest wish would be to be all the time in piece (blissfull state) regardless what happens, that is more worth than money and harder to get than money.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: May 26, 2018, 06:21:17 AM
Year ago I gave advantage to crypto-currencies. I was thinking where to save money, in a bank
or in crypto-currencies. I still hold to that decision. I have more money in crypto-currencies than in
a bank, even after this market drop.
I think crypto-currencies are safer and better cause your money is working for you. In bank after
couple years even with good interest rates you will lose money cause of inflation, you money is losing
value. In crypto-currencies we our money is gaining value.
It`s easy to make a choice even after a little research!

I agree with this too. Also in Crypto you can decide how many layers of security you want to use...with a bank you have no control.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: May 26, 2018, 06:16:52 AM
Been seeing projects' Telegram groups blow up and I think that's an attribute of success. Personally, when I find a project, I do judge them by their social media presence. How active a telegram channel does say a lot with their demand.

With the rise of groups exceeding Telegram's 50k member cap...what do you guys think?

Article: https://news.bitcoin.com/telegram-followers-the-new-metric-for-cryptocurrency-success/

Actually not, telegram is one of the way to find legitimate users and not multi account, in this way the ico's can find more people to join their bounty campaigns with a legit participants.

Well, it seems you can buy fake telegram members and I already visited groups with 50+ participants and only few posts were made, so I was sure most of them were fake. And if a project uses these kind a tricks it's probably just a money grab
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: May 26, 2018, 06:12:25 AM
Of course it will be more honest to announce the KYC at the beginning of the company. But you yourself can ask the manager about it before you take part . Often you can get an answer, and if the manager does not answer, then this is the reason for doubt.

That's a good idea, willl do that in the future, thanks.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: May 24, 2018, 03:14:04 PM
I believe, in fact, that KYC can not help the manager show scam accounts, it can help managers recognize about your country. But I will never participate in those programs that require KYC at the end of the campaign, it's Unsuccessful, and you can be deceived for this reason, passing your own information for several tokens is not worth the risk.

I agree with your view but how can you avoid bounties that have KYC at the end of the campaign? If you worked hard for weeks, often for months, and just before you get the rewards you are asked to do a KYC, do you really pass on it?
71  Economy / Economics / Re: What IF? on: May 24, 2018, 03:11:23 PM
What do you think?

What if, I'm buying 3M Bitcoins with Billions of dollars to push the price up to $20,000 and then give them all to you for $60B? you would have to start selling them because you need money now, you would sell them for any price, because you couldn't receive money from me. the whole world is calling you a terrorist, giving money to you directly could have unwanted consequences, such as getting tagged by Lauda and having no salary in any signature campaign and nothing for you.

I read this several times, tried really hard to understand it but it makes no sense to me, I really wonder what your were talking about
72  Other / Off-topic / Re: what will you do when you are in a bad mood? on: May 24, 2018, 03:06:55 PM
I prefer to be alone if I am in a bad mood.

I think that is something that most people share...problem is, then you get quickly in a downward spiral and you lose more interest in the outside world and other people.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: The market started looking green today. on: May 24, 2018, 03:05:09 PM
Technical analysis yadah yadah doesn't really work in bitcoin markets. The Cryptosphere is really a wierd thing - first of all, it is decentralized that is why nobody can dictate the price when to run bull or bear. IF it would become green soon, it would still be hard for us to predict whether it's a bull run or a bull walk. ha ha.

One thing I learned the hard way is that REAL MEN doesn't care about the price. They just keep on buying. (only applies to bitcoin).

You sound like you are here for a while, did you try some Technical analysis yourself and did not find them to be accurate?
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: May 24, 2018, 03:03:15 PM
I think it is a pointer to chances the ICO will be successful but it is only one element of the overall picture.
Some of the Telegram groups are bloated with bots and dead accounts there may be 50000 members in there but only 50 or 100 people actually communicating....  Huh

The reason why there are these huge groups with (almost) nothing happening is that you can now also buy telegram members. And apparently some projects felt the need to do so. I am not sure if there are tools where you can test how many real vs fake members...
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: May 24, 2018, 02:59:11 PM
of course it will always be safe in bank than in crypto, we know that crypto uses the block chain technology and that is really mind blowing to know how they keep and store all the data and information uniformly and safely but base on the value it is not stable and it has no sign to be stable, unlike on bank it will preserve its value, i think people here are after profiting, and when they earn their money will eventually go to their bank accounts.

It will always be safe in a bank, really? I suggest to do some history check regarding bank runs, example is the Great Depression. Then you find out that the bank does not have enough money to pay everyone if indeed everyone wants their money at the same time.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: The market started looking green today. on: May 24, 2018, 02:57:01 PM
Well, after the strong correction of 65%, I don't think that there is any reason which would affect the price resulting in a further fall but there are some investors who were waiting for the exit opportunity and hence they sold their investment when market was about to start recovery and it created turbulence in the price even after the sign of recovery but at this stage, there won't be any obstacle to the growth in my opinion. I believe that price will not only recover but also it will hit a fresh all-time high level in this year itself.
This is a sign that any price correction or instability of the market can never mean end of Bitcoin, as others view it to be. The fluctuation of price can be treated positively. No need to panic or worry much, the acceptance of its real nature helps us to be more stress-free in dealing its volatility. It may crash or drop but it can still recover and survive. All we have to do is to stay patient and be hopeful.

I like your statement, makes a lot of sense...it's not that white or black after all and a lot depends on our mindset

Wish I could stop sinning ad feeling bad about it. I wish the world could become a better place for everyone and peaceful. Wish to be happy and feel free

It would be a start if you could continue sinning and feel good about it...small steps get you closer to your goal
