J'étais en USD lors du fork, si c'était à refaire je le referais et j'aurais même margin short.
C'est pas parce que le bitcoin est rapidement reparti à la hausse (et a même fait un bond spectaculaire quelques jours après) qu'il n'était pas intéressant de vendre avant fork.
De même, je me suis fait 10% de profits le jour du fork, en achetant des BCH puis en les revendant 40 min plus tard juste avant le dump. J'aurais fait bien plus si j'avais regardé le cours plus tôt...

Yeah I know this feeling. Current game is only for holders and active traders.

Better that than looking at (and betting on) price increasing while staying in USD like me

Bleh, I knew I should have bought theses post dip bitcoins at 02:00 UTC when I woke up to download Game of Thrones.

I never had any "free" BCH  .

Now why did I want to trade on this market ? Because I like it being a fast-moving market. I'm pissed of having to wait minutes/hours for bitcoin P/L to get higher than the trading fees...

How to lose 200$ :
1) Buy BCH on high-volatility Bitfinex with a "325$" Market Order. BCH are bought at 331.
2) Being stunned by the order not doing what you wanted it to be and look at price slowly failing to ~312$ and wondering what went wrong. (Tip of  the day, don't use market orders on very high volatility markets like you would usually.)
3) Miss a few opportunities to halve the losses with the few ~320$ bumps.
4) Stop sell at ~311. (This could actually have been a not so bad idea.)

A few minutes later, it happens that dip was just under ~311 wall. Was ready for that but too much burnt to do anything.
I look at price being ~305 and getting momentum upwards, thinking that it's a good time to buy. Some minutes later, I'm typing this post and price went just over ~331

Is that me being really unable to stay synced with the market or just doing dumb/noob mistakes over and over ?

Godammit, I'm such a chicken...
Bought BTC at 2682 at first dip yesterday. Sold it at 2650 during the big second dip. Now BTC is at 2720 as planned... when I bought the BTC yesterday.

I saw it and... didn't even bother thinking about it. Expected BCH to burn in ashes 

I feel more secure buying the BTC dip

Parce que la chaîne BCH aura le même historique de transactions (je suis pas sûr de ça, si c'est pas les transactions, c'est autre chose) que la chaîne BTC jusqu'à heure du fork.
Donc, vu de la chaîne BCH, toute personne ayant eu des BTC avant fork aura maintenant le même nombre de BCH sur le premier block de ce fork.
