62  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How is covid-19 on your home land? on: April 06, 2021, 08:34:58 PM
I do not know how things are with covid infection in other countries, how true their statistics are.  but I can speak for my city, since I work in a hospital.  Over the past month, the situation has deteriorated significantly, although the government is trying not to talk about it.  The number of cases has increased, tests for covid are now almost not done, but the CT scan clearly shows the picture of SARS.  So far, only military and medical personnel are vaccinated, although we still have not received the vaccine
63  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Argentinian president tests positive to covid-19 after being vaccinated on: April 06, 2021, 08:18:50 PM
The example with HIV is not entirely successful, since the virus mutates all the time and its vaccination is not yet possible.  (do not confuse with AIDS, it is no longer a virus, but a disease).  But we can talk about such a disease as smallpox.
Now you will not meet him, but earlier it was a big problem, which was solved thanks to vaccination.  Vaccines not only reduce the severity of the disease, they prevent the development of the disease.  If a person is vaccinated against smallpox, and after that he will have contact with an infected person, then the chance of his infection is minimal.  Of course it is, but thanks to worldwide vaccination, smallpox has been defeated.
The vaccine is not a barrier that blocks the entry of the virus.
A vaccine is killed or live microorganisms, their components (possibly chemical vaccines), which, when introduced into the body, cause the production of antibodies and memory cells by immune cells.  After vaccination, immunity develops (its duration depends individually on the vaccine) and, upon contact with the original viruses, the antibodies fight the antigens of the virus.  Not to be confused with sera, when ready-made antibodies are injected into a person.
Of course, the strength of immunity during vaccination of adults and children depends on the state of the body's immune system.
As for the Sputnik V vaccine, it consists of two components, each of which includes a recombinant adenoviral vector based on the human adenovirus.  If you skip all molecular biology, then after the vaccine is injected, the vector gene enters human cells, as a result of which they produce S-protein in response to which antibodies to this protein are produced in the host's body (inoculated).  The introduction of the second component of the vaccine promotes the production of memory cells and the formation of a more complete immunity.  But the problem is that the virus also mutates, the structure of its membrane and proteins changes, which can cause the disease, after vaccination.  And of course, the initial state of the immune system plays an important role (it is difficult to predict whether the required amount of antibodies will be released).
Another issue is preclinical and clinical trials of the vaccine, which were carried out in a very accelerated mode (judging from the results of 3 phases of trials).
But it’s impossible to invent an ideal placebo in two years.  In my opinion, you shouldn't be afraid of vaccinations.  I myself want to be vaccinated, but in our city now it is not even there, only military personnel are vaccinated. I will digress a little from the topic, but I want to recommend that you do not especially ignore the vaccination schedule by age)

65  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: April 06, 2021, 10:17:16 AM
It's impossible, these two products are from different areas of life. replacing gold and oil is simply unprofitable even for companies involved in their extraction and production. If anyone could replace oil, it would be Nikola Tesla lool
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 06, 2021, 09:54:07 AM
It is unlikely that this problem will be solved in a couple of months.  But even if that happens, I don't think BSC will face any problems.  Everyone will continue to use both networks, which is justified, there are pros and cons everywhere.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it so hard to make one Good coin? on: March 29, 2021, 11:07:38 AM
Because nothing is perfect) in fact, it is not profitable to make small transactions on the basis of Ethereum, but there are a bunch of other good alternative coins (in the binance network). It seems to me that everything is not so bad.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: March 29, 2021, 10:58:58 AM
No, usually I don't panic at all, because it doesn't make sense.  The market is a very mobile and unstable platform, you need to have time to turn the fall in prices in your favor. Maybe if I invest all my money in some coins, then you can't do without panic, but if you don't lose your apartment, you can relax)
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: March 25, 2021, 08:25:49 PM
USDT is probably the only coin that I fully trust and am sure that nothing will happen to it.  Of course, I understand that nothing is perfect and stable.  But as they say they choose the lesser of two evils
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: March 25, 2021, 08:17:54 PM
It seems to me that nothing can replace live communication and socialization of children in collectives.  Learning the practical skills of students of different professions suffers with online learning.  It is impossible to study human anatomy online without visual material.  So even blockchain technologies won't help here Smiley

73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: March 15, 2021, 03:50:07 PM
This is very real, recently, many projects have announced their transition to Binance Chain.  I myself try now to use only the binance network, it is quite possible to make transfers here, unlike Ethereum, where the gas price exceeds the price of my tokens, which I want to transfer) some coins are still hanging on erc20, I am waiting for the right time.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I convince people that Bitcoin isn't a financial pyramid? on: March 15, 2021, 02:59:24 PM
It may not be worth convincing anyone, most often a person will still remain unconvinced until he tries for himself and is convinced by his own experience.  I think now you can find any information, study it and compare it, if there is a desire and interest.  And if it is not, then no amount of persuasion will help.  It may happen that you convince someone that bitcoin is absolutely reliable, but this person will not succeed, he will lose money and blame you for it, without understanding the reasons.  Or maybe someone does not need information about the cryptocurrency at all, in general, everything is individual Smiley
75  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: March 15, 2021, 02:47:00 PM
I think that such thoughts are just utopias from the universe of Thomas More.  You can't just take money from some and give it to others.  And who will give their money voluntarily?  Violence can only breed violence.  But in every possible way to encourage charity on a voluntary basis is simply necessary, helping those in need is an absolutely normal desire of a person.  Advertising campaigns and promotions, instilling from childhood the thought to children that helping one's neighbor is a common thing.  I sincerely admire people who share their fees and savings with relief funds.  Unfortunately, there are not too many such people, I myself study and work part-time in the hospital, where I constantly have to see how people do not have enough money for ordinary medicines, surgeries or rehabilitation, since state aid cannot provide patients with everything they need.  And at such moments it becomes very sad that someone is buying a fifth plane, and someone cannot buy antibiotics or inhalation cans.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: March 15, 2021, 02:25:44 PM
I am sure that everyone has their own way of assessing the amount of money in a bank account with which he can be called rich.  The more you get, the more you want.  money is of course very good, but for me true wealth is to be able to do what I like, to embody my ideas, to see that my activity and life have some meaning.  All my wealth is the development of my creativity, the development of inner qualities, work on myself and a desire to help others
77  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WARNING Do Not use GMAIL for Exchange email on: March 10, 2021, 06:55:33 PM
I don't know why, but I can't imagine my life without Google, I always use their mail, online documents, browser.  Gmail is generally a part of me, I can't imagine my work if I ever lose access to my account or block it.  To be on the safe side, I always add a backup email address, a valid phone number. I truly believe it will help me if something goes wrong.

Hello everyone, I am very glad to participate in the charity event.  My painting is called "Hope".  This piece of art I was inspired by my studies at the medical university and my work in the hospital.  In the center of my painting is a strong and courageous girl with a staff - she personifies medicine.  To her left is another girl, her opposite - she is weaker and seemingly transparent, all because she is sick and needs help.  On the right is the dark horseman - he personifies death and the coronavirus, which is approaching the sick girl.  But of course, he will not succeed, because medicine is indestructible in his way, protecting humanity.  I sincerely believe that the development of medicine and mutual assistance will help us overcome any epidemic.

P.S. also my favorite artist Gustav Klimt became the ideological inspirer of the picture.
