small update on my problem, firmware installed again from the link posted above and all seems fine, no lock ups or idle worker problem,  and hashing away just nicely

I also hold a Defense Vetting Clearance, so I can read and deal with government Top Secret classification.

Congratulations Kenshin, you just became a security risk by announcing on a PUBLIC forum your level of security (if you had any) and how you work on  high profile projects.

Do you know my real name? do you know my real identity? I use anonymous VPN to access this forum. The email address I used to registered can't be trace back to me. It is located in Switzerland. Also they don't log IP address.

So how can I be a risk? When even the admin don't know where or who I am? No one does.  Cool

IP's are logged.

Is this still going on, thought a couple of days away from here might have seen all this calm down. Shocked
67  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: January 31, 2014, 06:24:49 PM
Not really I don't mind rebooting every couple of days tbf (takes 2mins logging in on my phone) just abit annoying

Sorry buddy, all I know is that I was advised to use that one in the Tech Discussion part as it got rid of bugs
68  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGRemote on: January 31, 2014, 06:20:19 PM
If they're on the same LAN it's almost definitely a firewall issue. Please consider posting this to http://coinmyne.proboards.com as I'm trying to build up help content there that other users can find if they have a problem. Otherwise email me and I'll get back to you shortly (I just woke up, so I have a backlog of emails to go through). Let me know what firewall software you're using.

Justin

Anyone able to help with this setting up please.

Managed to add them to CGRemote but keep getting, miner down? or check firewall?

I can access the miners if I put the IP's in the browser and the programs has been added to the firewall to allow it through.

Netgear router - DGND3700v2

WOW.... What have you done?

I tried out some silent fans, but those weren't strong enough. Luckely I started to smell burned plastic. The ASICs itself work (both parts), it's just that the one powersupply (picture I posted above) is black on the back side. Dead. Do you know where I can get a replacement?

Why not try mininghardware directly?
Maybe if they have business with china they can help.

Send NineLives a PM and see what he can do, he may be able to get something for you, but it is Chinese New Year so it may be delayed abit.

As stated on this forum (more senior members) or if you search the internet and look for the differences
72  Bitcoin / Mining support / Miner Reboot on: January 30, 2014, 03:51:25 PM
Is there a way to reboot my miner (automatically) if it stops hashing, it is running cgminer it needs to reboot not just restart.

I have it connected via a network cable, and IP address is 192.168.1.##

Thanks

To all those other customers, I am in the process of getting another unit from NineLives to improve my BTC intake. The link to the upgraded firmware is what is advertised on this forum (even thought it took a bit of finding).

Just looked at some feedback from NineLives trust !!

This person is a scammer. And I will be contacting the Police about him. So stay away and don't buy anything from him.
I have contact the HM Revenue & Customs in the UK. As this person is committing fraud. Warning: do not trade with this person.
He broke a business contract with me, I was supposed toget paid for upgrading over 200 miners from him. And get pay BTC 0.1 each. He never paid me.

Anyone want to guess who left this, if he has contacted those people like he did his solicitor (who had 30 years experience) then he is wasting our time and this is why I have pressed the ignore button because he is no longer worth bothering about.

I spoke to NineLives about the custom software whilst he was making his silly claims and I was told it did not get to the speeds stated, which would be why on a number of occasions when asked to provide screenshots nothing was shown.
