61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: June 07, 2018, 01:18:04 PM
I am not exactly following crypto influencers because, you know, everybody says what is beneficial for them and you never know whose words are real and who just wants to speculate on the market, draw your attention and make you do what they want, which is obviously profitable for them. So, we should be very careful when following these influencers' advice.
Anyway, I am sure that we should listen to the statements they make, in order to analyze and consider the value of this information. That will allow us to understand why the market is behaving that way or another and, consequently, make right trading decisions for ourselves.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Binance Trading Platform establishes a bank account in Malta. on: June 07, 2018, 01:05:12 PM
Hope with this news we can expect that the Binance exchange will implement some pairs with real fiat money in USD. That would be more assuring to keep the funds in real fiat when the market goes down on correction. Although now I trust Tether it is not the real dollar anyway. And also some True USD appeared on Binance. Don't know much about it. And actually, don't want to know. Hope with implementation of real fiat pairs. True USD will be delisted.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: June 06, 2018, 04:46:18 PM
I definitely support it. It is one of the top coins on the market, on the same level as Bitcoin. I can be sure that it won't disappear like other scam coins at the market and won't dump very much, because it is the coin of demand. The prevailing majority of the currencies and tokens are created on Ethereum platform and all the transactions are carried out and paid in Ethereum. So its price will be growing as there is an instant demand on that currency.
I trade Ethereum instantly because it is more comfortable for me now. I have not enough funds to trade BTC so I could make a good profit but trading Ethereum suits me the best at the moment.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: June 04, 2018, 10:24:01 PM
This is one of the strategies I stick to. I split my trading funds into two parts. The one part of my assets I trade daily when the market is going well. When the market goes down and starts a continuous correction. I stop trading my primary assets and convert it to fiat or Tether. When the market is down for 2-3 days I start buying with my secondary assets.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency you peffer in June-2018 ? on: June 04, 2018, 10:13:10 PM
Usually, I trade coins from top 10-20. Love trading BTC, BTG, and ETH. But that depends on the market trend and coin's price. I like buying when the price drops significantly after a wave correction. But also I like buying some good altcoins, especially when their team has some important events. That is why I chose BitShares (BTS) as my the coin of my choice for the first half of June. Why? The fluctuation of its price is high and it has a lot of relevant events this month: on 7th of June it has hard fork and on 12th of June BitShares releases its mainnet. I think buying it for 0,20-0,23$ is reasonable. Can grow up to 0,30$.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: May 24, 2018, 10:37:53 AM
Because all the entrepreneurs what to make a fortune out of nothing. This is the way it works today. Everything you have to do is create a unique idea, prepare whitepaper, qualitative website and announce ICO, then collect other people's money during the ICO, and using it hire a team of professionals to create the product, release tokens and see how they bring them profit from day to day.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum under $400 will be a good buy or ? on: May 23, 2018, 08:47:33 PM
Yes, I think buying Ethereum between 400-520$ is a good idea. For me its average price is 600-700$, so if it falls below 600$ I usually buy it. During last huge correction on March, I had an opportunity to buy ETH for 400$ and made quite a good profit selling it for 725$. Hope within a month it will hit over 800$ again.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Kucoin's trading volume is very low? on: May 22, 2018, 01:09:26 PM
I think there are multiple reasons for it. First is that it has a lot of powerful and reputable rivals. People use services of Binance, Bittrex, and others. For the second, multiple new projects use Kucoin to list their tokens after the ICO to increase their tokens price, as Kucoin is consider is one of the top reliable exchanges. So, holders of these new tokens hold them until they are listed on Kucoin, wait for the price to pump, then sell all their tokens, receive some BTC or ETH and withdraw it to their accounts on the top exchanges. Thus, stopping trading on Kucoin. That's it, I guess. And the third negative thing about Kucoin is that it started to require compulsory verification. People prefer using Binance, as it allows to trade without verification up to 2 BTC, instead of sharing their personal information and documents.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KuCoin vs Binance on: May 21, 2018, 02:09:23 PM
Binance is way better and it looks like Kucoin copied their website (design and other stuff). Kucoin was actually OK before but recently it makes unpopular steps. Firstly, the introduced compulsory verification. That would definitely make them lose lots of clients. And the second, they started listing too many obscure tokens from shady projects. They are already being criticized for that by experts. That might cause losing their reputation and further delisting of lots of coins.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: May 20, 2018, 12:31:42 PM
I started to make bounties and participate in rewards programmes in order to make an initial capital to trade. So, if I receive a reward and it has a good price when gets on the exchange, I sell it to buy some stable currencies and start trading. But those rewards that now are worth not that much, I prefer to hold, maybe in a year the will cost a lot more.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: binance or folkdelta or bancor on: May 20, 2018, 12:26:52 PM
Sure thing, Binance is the best exchange among the mentioned. Forkdelta is more like garbage personally for me. At the same time there is a difference between Binance and Forkdelta (or Etherdelta). The first is a centralized exchange and the others are decentralized. So if you want to use a decentralized one, I would rather advise IDEX.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who trades on Qryptos? on: May 17, 2018, 10:22:43 PM
Hello guys!

Does anybody have trading experience on Qryptos exchange? Can somebody share its advantages or disadvantages. Also, concerned that it requires personal information to register there.

Can somebody clarify what "taker fee" and "maker fee" mean?

Would be grateful!
I have specific coin only in qryptos and I do not use it to trade a lot of coins since it is hard log in using my android phone. It needs to confirm the ip address whenever I will logging in with my account and that is quiet hassle for anyone like me. The disadvantages also is that, there is a KYC and the verification needs time before they confirm it.
Well, it is good to trade in this exchange because you can modify your specific charts or tabs in their website. Fast transaction and it newbies can use it because it is easy to use.

Thanks for your feedback! Will take that into account.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: May 17, 2018, 09:23:14 PM
Of course, that varies from the coin you are going to buy, the potential of its platform, product, team, and development progress. But investing in currencies with the price lower than 1$ is definitely worth it. Coins with low prices have a lot of space for a growth. It is easier to make the profit with these coins because "giant" currencies are already overpriced.
74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who trades on Qryptos? on: May 17, 2018, 08:21:29 PM

I actually use that Exchange site ones for my token ( DRG ) but until now i didin't withdraw my funds because before you withdraw your funds you can verify your account first, that's why if you want to use that site make sure you have valid ID to verify. Anyways, i din't encounter any problem for that site, and the fee i thinks it is lower that the other exchange.

Thanks for your feedback! Do you understand it's taker and maker fees? It is do unusual. I just don't get it.

Hello guys!

Does anybody have trading experience on Qryptos exchange? Can somebody share its advantages or disadvantages. Also, concerned that it requires personal information to register there.

Can somebody clarify what "taker fee" and "maker fee" mean?

Would be grateful!

I have used this exchange. In addition to personal information you need to pass KYC otherwise you wont be able to withdraw any amount from your account. KYC process is lengthy and it may take upto one month. I have not seen or use thes taker free and maker free option.

Good thing about the exchange is that their support is very responsive and they help in every matter including KYC. They process withdraw in office time only and it take some time. Overall experience is good.

I need to wait one month for Have KYC passed ? It it too long in crypto world!
and if you say you need to pass KYC in withdraw time , I don't think that is a very good thing , why they dont ask KYC in registering time? so that if some body didn't pass it he/she doesnt have his/her assets locked up!Really?!

Yeah, that is really annoying, man. That is why I started this conversation. A lot of people have to wait for the KYC verification. But I found out from some guy using Qryptos that if you want to speed up the verification process, just write a message to the support of the exchange. He also submitted his information and waited a long time for the approval. But when he wrote a message or a mail to support manager, his verification was approved immediately. So, I think, you should try to do the same thing.

Thanks a lot for sharing. I read on some media that they improved their verification process and it lasts up to one week. Although don't know if it's true.
Truth or not. The main concern on here is that if your willing to submit up some KYC verification process that's way too strict where you would really need to pass up personal information for you to withdraw unlike on other exchangers which you can able to create your account without passing any documentation yet they do have unverified accounts with such limited threshold which is I more prefer.

Yeah, I also do not prefer sharing my personal information, especially if I am going to make several trades there. Wouldn't even consider it 'cause I use top exchanges. It's just one of the ICO projects I took part in is listing its token there. So I was thinking whether register there or wait another one.
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who trades on Qryptos? on: May 16, 2018, 10:25:45 PM
I haven't used qryptos but it is a fast up and coming exchange with a lot of good coins to trade with. The volume is quite impressive for a new'ish exchange, and you can get good tokens like MGO which has higher trade volumes there.

Yeah, I see that it is developing very fast and looks good but some terms of its use are not that pleasant.

79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockhain week in New York on: May 14, 2018, 04:02:12 PM
Personally, I think this event is overrated. It brings the crypto-community nothing but "empty talks" about crypto-market and blockchain. Maybe, if any company will announce any important partnerships there or improvements to their platforms or products, it'll result in upside movements of that coin but not all the market, I guess.
In previous years after such event market started growing significantly, that's why we wait for it to grow this year again. But we forget that each year crypto-market evolves and changes its behavior. It prepares a lot of traps, especially when all the community is expecting a growth, it brings dumps.
I prefer to be very cautious about it and react only to the news and announcements that really bring positive changes or development steps.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe May 2018 willbe the last time that Bitcoin price is under $10000 on: May 14, 2018, 03:51:23 PM
Don't believe that. Cryptocurrency is very volatile by its nature and is very vulnerable before any negative news, sayings, and moves of the "whales".
Some influential person said that but nothing is behind those words. He doesn't control the market himself. Frankly speaking, as practice shows, these kinds of statements often are used to make people calm down, start investing and buying cryptos. Because after them, often follows a big wave of correction. Consequently, a lot of "weak" traders start panic-sell and lose their money. But "the whales" become richer. Be very careful when you hear such news.
