61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big gains come with big losses on: March 28, 2018, 09:00:39 AM
Yes, currently the market is going through a correction and it is good and healthy for the markets, as just going upwards in price is not possible always. The harder a market pumps the harder it is going to drop. Crypto is a highly volatile market and with higher returns come higher risks.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: March 28, 2018, 08:57:38 AM
"Multiply my BTC", thats a very wrong mindset to get started in trading. You need to keep small goals in the start and need to do many trials before playing with your real money. Not everyone can turn a profit with trading and its very easy to lose your whole investment in bad trades.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will the value of bitcoin be if the circulating supply gets to Zero on: March 26, 2018, 04:12:54 PM
You are talking about scenarios that simply aren't going to happen. There are 21 million bitcoins that will ever exist and theres going to be at least few million bitcoins that are going to be in circulation any time, either on exchanges or being used for purchasing something.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: good news!! on: March 26, 2018, 04:09:57 PM
This should be good for Bitcoin as Yahoo is going to be an exchange that you can trust for its security and past history. And this should give bitcoin some media attention. This will take Bitcoin even more closer to the mainstream adoption.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the Bitcoin Price Bottomed? on: March 26, 2018, 04:07:08 PM
$3k is going to be the bottom level. And I don't think the bottom is going to happen so soon. Its going to take few more months for Bitcoin to reach the bottom. Bitcoin just went through one of the biggest rallies in its history it isn't going to bottom out so fast.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: March 25, 2018, 03:58:53 PM
The things that make an altcoin valuable is its real world use case, an active community behind it and a strong dev team developing for it. All these factors are important for an altcoin to succeed. Even if one of those things are missing, it will be hard for that alt to succeed.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance issue on: March 24, 2018, 04:13:15 PM
Malta invited Binance to operate in their country. This should put the Binance FUD and rumors to rest. There is always going to be a country who is going to be crypto friendly. No one rejects money they can earn through taxation. And with the exchange volume Binance has it wont have a problem finding a country to operate in.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: March 24, 2018, 04:08:59 PM
Trading isn't for everyone. Why don't you just hodl your coins? You are going to make better returns by just hodling then by doing trading. Also invest only what you can afford to lose, this will be good for your health and you will be more relaxed about your investment.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: March 22, 2018, 05:20:25 PM
Unless you are experienced enough I would say to avoid shorting as Bitcoin is a highly volatile currency and you might end up losing your investment once the price starts going up. But by buying BTC you wont suffer loses until you sell them.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: March 22, 2018, 05:17:46 PM
This is an advice that everyone needs to memorize. If I would have understood this earlier then wouldn't have sold my hodling once I saw the price going up. Wont make the same mistake again. Now I only check the price of my hodlings just once a day and have set target sell prices and wont sell for anything less than that price.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: March 22, 2018, 05:14:09 PM
The only way to avoid selling early is to set target sell price after buying a coin.. That way you wont be tempted to sell once the price starts going up or you will not end up panic selling your hodlings. Also avoid checking the prices again and again as that leads to panic selling too.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin is pretty easy on: March 21, 2018, 04:44:58 PM
Yeah until you make a bad trade and have your whole investment locked up into that trade. Trading cryptocurrencies is just like gambling. You can never be sure when the price comes crashing down and you lose more than 50% of your investment.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: March 21, 2018, 04:42:46 PM
I don't think that would be a good idea if not the worst idea. Cryptocurrency is a highly risky and volatile market. After going full time you are going to lose your sleep and peace of mind, if not your money. Never invest more than you can afford to lose in crypto currencies.
74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptopia stole 1 Ether from me on: March 21, 2018, 04:40:20 PM
I have been reading about also people having multiple login attempt failures from hackers. Maybe their database got leaked or something. Need to move my coins out of Cryptopia now. Also 1 Ether is a huge amount and I really feel bad for you.
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is removing a lot of coins on: March 21, 2018, 09:10:53 AM
Maintaining the wallets of so many coins is a very resource intensive job. And coins with low volume may in fact start eating into their profits, so removing these coins is a fair thing. But with new registrations stopped for Bittrex, the exchange is bound to get low volume in low market cap coins as most of the buyers of such coins are new comers who want better returns on their investment.
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if everyone withdrew their coin in fiat? on: March 21, 2018, 09:08:09 AM
I'm sure there would be at least a hundred people who will be ready to purchase the entire bitcoin supply at $10 a coin. Also if everyone withdrew their coins in fiat at the same time, then the coin will fall in price at a astronomical rate.
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: March 21, 2018, 09:06:01 AM
More than risky you are going to lose your sleep and peace of mind over it. I tried day trading and health wise I was at my lowest point in life during that period. Since the crypto markets are open 24 hours, you are going to lose your sleep over it. And regarding the trading risk, you are better off just hodling as hodlers are more likely to make better returns than some one day trading.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m out on: March 19, 2018, 03:58:34 PM
So you are going to follow the Buy high sell low methodology? Now when the markets are at rock bottom you are going to sell? Didn't you realize before investing in crypto markets that bitcoin can crash any time as it was in a bull phase? You already lost most of your investment, why not wait some time to at least sell at break even point.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Ads on: March 19, 2018, 03:55:12 PM
Its not them who is banning crypto ads but the FBI and other government agencies forcing them to do so. Why would these websites ban something that is the future and the younger generations are interested in. Also this is a positive news for the crypto world as this will prevent the new users from getting hacked or buying into scam ICOs.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For how long will bitcoin exist on: March 19, 2018, 03:50:35 PM
As long as there is no killer alternative and as long as there is this community with bitcoin it is going to exist. The only thing needed to maintain bitcoin is staying up to date with the current technical innovations. As long as bitcoin has a strong dev team working for it I don't think bitcoin is going to die.
