61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: June 29, 2018, 12:42:57 PM
Right now, everyone is confused. But I would suggest everyone to hodl. Bear market may become better by the end of 2018. If you believe in your altcoin then hodl it. Predicting future of new altcoins is also not helpful at this time. Because anything can happen.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: June 29, 2018, 12:40:23 PM
2018 is the year of losers so far. We can't see anyone winning. Both ETH and BTC are dropping. Only future would tell who is the winner.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: June 29, 2018, 11:57:24 AM
Investing in bitcoin doesn’t ensure safety. But, please note that if you are after higher returns then there is always risk involved. If you want to play safe, bank FDs are good.

There is no central authority which controls bitcoin. I don’t think this is drawback. This is rather advantage as no single authority can control bitcoin. It’s purely driven by people. So, it’s more safe than other currencies in that sense. No authority can demonetize it.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: June 01, 2018, 05:34:07 AM
In the recent years, Bitcoin has fallen short of expectations and many people are starting to lose faith in it, this is mainly  due to the high mining costs that really doesn't reward as much, if it was to improve, first find a way of reducing the mining cost, the energy consumed in the process and the rate of transaction which is super slow of late
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: June 01, 2018, 05:29:15 AM
What with people taking too much unnecessary risks? Bitcoin coin can be profitable yes, but we all know the risks involved in the Crypto market, the markets is just too volatile to play around with. School fees is an important ting that you shouldn't be risking in BTC, if the market fall then where you gonna get the another one, lets learn to take calculated risks
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2018, 05:26:52 AM
The cost of mining Bitcoins might have soared so high, but so is its value, People still believe in the coin and there is little that will stop them from buying what they believe gives them a high chance of making profits Bitcoin still hasnt not been declared solvent yet, there is still always a chance that it will gain value
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto replace fiat money? on: May 31, 2018, 04:20:53 PM
Cryptocurrency replacing Fiat is every crypto users dream, in fact we work so hard to get there, but the truth is that it will take a lot more than what we think to get there,First, almost everyone must embrace cryptos, this is the main challenge as most people still either don't know much about cryptos or simply don't know it even exists, This group of people should be won over first, then there is the battle with the governments, these cryptos must convince the national governments that they mean no harm to the national economy, if they o and the governments accepts their free operation then we will be a step closer to replacing Fiat
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in altcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 04:20:29 PM
Real Estate and stock market is one of the best investment options there is out there, but how long will it take for land to gain value and appreciate, yes it will at some point get lots of value to it but it will take time,  there is also lots of factors that the growth depends on, the stock market on the other hand has too much external influence i it, its not as free as it appears, and a handful of investors can decide the fate of the stock prices. Alt coins on the other hand can gain value real fast depending on the quality of the coin
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the vehicle, we run it on: May 31, 2018, 04:05:19 PM
WELL, there are some level of truth in what you say,it only means that we the users are the determiners of the value that Bitcoin attracts. we use it more, buy it more, the higher the value it will have, if we don't use it and rather chose to neglect it then the value drops, BTC doesn't decide on its on when it be high or when to be low, we are the determinants of its value, its high up there because if the market cap it boasts of, Not neccessarily because it Bitcoin,
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: May 31, 2018, 04:04:59 PM
Yes is still us MEW, ITS still one of the best wallets there is  in the crypto platform especially when storing ETH and ERC20  tokens, the speed at which these coins are reflected into the wallet is just impressive as there is little or no delays when it comes to such transactions,if encrypted well and all the security protocals looked into, MEW IS just as safe and will safely keep your tokens away from the hackers
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: May 31, 2018, 03:57:24 PM
It will take quite sometime for Bank to accept or offer bitcoin deposits, Bitcoin in itself is a competition to the banks, therefore they might not be willing t0 take part in their competitor's activities. I also don't think Bitcoin needs the banking system, the fact that its free of any institutional control or regulation mean that even the banks shouldn't have control over BTC, if they accept BTC deposits then that means that Bitcoin will be taxed, something that might not be as attractive to the Bitcoin Users.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? on: May 30, 2018, 11:35:25 PM
Upto this far, Bitcoin cannot be a Ponzi, it's just that it's facing. Difficult time  in the market, but that doesn't make it a Ponzi at all
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market Manipulation on: May 29, 2018, 11:40:39 PM
Yes, Bitcoin sometimes is not as free as we may want to imagine, there are a number of influential persons out there with an ability to change the directions of the Bitcoin prices and take advantage of it, sometimes they do and the cost of the coin slumps, that's just whats happening to the market no
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: May 29, 2018, 11:36:09 PM
Its quite difficult to see Banks offering Bitcoin Deposits, Bitcoins is already a competition to the Banks, who  inturn consider them threats, there is no way you can be promoting your competitor, however if BC somehow gets centralized then there are chances that Banks might offer BitcOIN Deposits
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: May 25, 2018, 03:34:31 AM
I agree with you, most  of the people were attracted to crypto because of the money making potential it has, but not really the enthusiast on the new technology it represents, which is quite unfair, but those are the kind of investors who easily panuoc and sell off at the slightest drop of value, the technology cryptocurrency operates on our an interesting on with lots of promise, cryptocurrency will revolutionize the finance industry at some point
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy low and sell high is very tough on: May 25, 2018, 03:23:11 AM
Its not as tough and that's the best advice you can ever be given, however it will test your patience to the core , it takes time.   For these coins to gain value   to. The peak.  , And most of these good coins rarely take a dip as much, it will therefore need you to be vigilant on the market prices and make your timings correctly to catch them when they dip and buy, then hodl  them as long as possible for them Fontaine value
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 25, 2018, 03:15:25 AM
People have prefferences on how to handle these tokens, especially the bounty tokens, some will sell immediately after the ICO even if it means selling at low price, they just want to make money of what they have and probably move on to the next campaign, I however advice to hold these coins, you never know which token will make you good returns. Some of these projects are so good, the stand a chance of success on the market, just don't sell the coins. As cheap
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: May 24, 2018, 09:25:08 PM
The cryptocurrency industry is not a very predictable industry, Its full of uncertainties and a highly volatile market, Its almost impossible to tell what wll happen to the industry in that stretch of time, however, at the rate at which the market is growing, there are high chances that in Five years, Cryptocurrency will be more accepted by the general public, by ten the legislation battles will be over and we will know how to proceed. whether legalizd of not
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2018, 09:18:36 PM
Anything that sells is the media's piece of cake and negativity and ill talking about BTC currently seems like the deal, Media houses dont act independently. There might either be under influence from the National Governments which are against Bitcoins or under the influence of powerful interest groups we might never know
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: May 24, 2018, 09:12:06 PM
Wel if you die with your secret key stored in privacy where no one can get them then in your wallet is where they will remain, no one touches them ever, they literally die with you, however, your cryptos can be passed down to your kids i you so wish, Open a safety deposit box  and write a will that it be opened only when you are dead, in it  write down tour details and instructions to whom you want the coins to go to, this way your coins are passed on to someone
