61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 26, 2019, 02:42:04 PM
A man needs to start somewhere. Here are first results.

The same game multi on the tottenham game didnt worked out. 2 of the 5 selections turned out to be wrong. Brighton scored the first goal and was leading at half time.
But here you can see the potential of same game multi betting.

I mostly prefer to bet on a pretty obvious game. Lets say for example you have a game where home team has an odd of only 1.1. By adding a couple same game multi picks you can increase the odd of the same game. For example bet on outcome - half time result and pick 1 goalscorer. In this way you can easily increase the odd on that game 3 to 5 times higher.

Single bet

First single bet brought us a win. Like i said i will take out 50% of the winnings and add the other 50% to the stake for the next game. So next single game will have a bet amount of 12.60€

Our second single pick is still open as well. Chelsea game at 4pm CET. I have picked chelsea to lead at half time.

I am going to have a look if i can find a good single pick for the 12.60€ bet.

NOTE: As you see i do not work with units or so. I do not do that because in bet on multiple different ways. And it is hard to keep track of units especially with the colossus jackpot bets involved. So like i mentioned i will post weekly updates about balance progress, deposits and withdrawals.

I wish I still have merit to award this good post of yours. (will award this once I earned merits)

You explained it well mate, it pretty evident that you put an effort on this thread, so I wish you the best and as a sports bettor too, I hope you'll be successful.

thx i appreciate.

Good to see another thread like this and launching on Christmas too,,, are you Asian by the way?

Anyway, it is okay to have journals like this. I do not like tip threads too,,, they are full of promises and end up doing badly. Worse especially that people charge money for these socalled tips.

Good luck!

Nope, i am european.

Yeah my goal is just to keep a journal and share some of my bets upfront. But i am in no way going to offer a tipping service. I hate such services. cause if someone wants to put in a little effort they can easily analyse games themself and dont need to spend money on a tipping service.
So do not expect detailed analysis of my games. The main goal is to just share my betting journey and the possible winnings or losses that i make.

Many bitcoin sport betting sites unfortunately don’t let you choosing more than one betting line from a single event but I hope this changes soon once they see your thread.I think a betting journey is always beautiful but I don’t think hitting every bet correct from the Tottenham game has high chances to come true.Still I am taking a look at this thread and try to copy a bet or too.

you are right in any way. I havent seen one yet that that offers in game betting on the same game. You also are correct it is not easy to to hit everything correct in the same game. but that's the beauty about this way of betting and the platform i am doing that on. You have the opportunity to do full or partial cashouts. So if you have a couple correct and have doubts about remaining picks you have always the opportunity to lock some profits during the game
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 26, 2019, 09:50:10 AM
And here we go!!!

As i said in the first post i am going to place all sorts of bets during this journey. So do not only expect single picks all the time. I am a huge fan of accumulators, system bets and jackpot bets as well. So it is going to be a mix of different ways of placing bets.

Jackpot bets

Below you will fint links  of my first jackpot bets during this journey. For those who do not know jackpot betting. You do not play against a bookie or do not fight odds. You just need to predict outcomes of predetermined games and you are playing for a fixed guaranteed prize pool. Just like in a lottery the jackpot is shared with the total amount of winners. So the less winners the larger your cut of the prize pool.
You can play this jackpot pools solo or you can create pool tickets as a captain and allow people to take a share your ticket.

https://www.colossusbets.com/syndicates/join/pool/36776/5000000043004

The above link directs to a ticket that is playing for a 2,000€ + prize pool. Total cost was 64.80€ and i contributed 50% (32.40€) to this ticket. In total 15 other contributed to fill this ticket. I will receive 50% of all winning of this ticket.

https://www.colossusbets.com/syndicates/join/pool/36766/5000000043334

This is a pick 6 correct score ticket that is playing for a 100,000€ jackpot. As you see i contributed 10.8€ (10%) of the total ticket value. This means i will receive 10% of all winnings this ticket makes. If this ticket doesnt get entirely filled by other gamblers than this ticket is playing solo for a 10,000€ jackpot price (10% of 100k).

System bets

I love playing systembets. For those who do not know what system betting is ... it is quit easy. System bets are a type of multiple/accumulator bets. You have different system bets but i personally prefer playing super heinz (7 games) or goliaths (8 games). Most large and well known bookies offer this way of betting and have an automated system.
For example placing a golaith bet means that you need to pick 8 games and the system automatically places every possible 2 -3-4-5-6-7-8 fold combination. this means if you play a 8 game goliath you actually have 247 different running bets

The advantage of playing system bets is that they are a good way to control your bankroll a little better. If you fill in an ordinary 8 game accumulator you need to have all 8 correct in order to win. With a 8 game goliath you already are winning some money back when 2 of your 8 games are correct. By playing system bets it even is possible to close your bet profitable even if you have 1 or 2 and even sometimes 3 incorrect picks depending on the odds you are playing.

Example

Below you see a super heinz system bet. And even with 1 game incorrect i still almost made 8x my money

I have 3 system bets open.
First we have a soccer super heinz. In this one we are playing on half time results. A super heinz is a system bet that creates 120 different bets with the 7 selected games. I put in a total stake of 12€ which means every possible selection is playing for a stake of 0.10€

The second system bet is a goliath bet on the PDC world darts championships. NOTE: This one is already running and the first game was a correct pick a couple of days ago.

Same game multi

This is a way of betting on multiple outcomes in 1 and the same game. Havent seen this feature on Crypto bookies so far but this feature is becoming very popular on the largest fiat bookies. I have 1 same game multi up for today on the tottenham game. Beauty about this is you can do inplay cashouts to secure some profits.

Single bets

I personally am not a huge fan of betting on single games. So thats why i am going to attach a small challenge to my single bets to make it a little more attractive to me.
this is what i am going to do. I am going to start with 20€ for single bets and put 10€ on 2 different single bets with a quote of at least 1.5. If the bet is correct i will cash out 50% of the winnings and add the other 50% in the next bet. As soon as i accumulated 10€ in cashouts i add it to a new single bet. In this way i hope to have running multiple single bets in a couple of days and try to keep running as long as possible.

I already have my first 2 single picks up. So lets see what it will bring.

It can happen that there are bets that i forget to post in this journal. Its always possible i place additional or in play bets when i am on the go. But there will be updates about available balance, deposits and withdrawals on a weekly basis to keep this as transparant as possible.

If anyone wants to know more about the different ways of betting, how system bets work, how colossusbets jackpots work... feel free to send me a message. I am always ready to help out or give some more info.

65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 26, 2019, 09:00:39 AM

So theoretically everything is possible but in reality it will be more difficult to make some decent money with sport betting.

In theory, we all have a chance to go to the moon. Or one day buying Tesla vehicles. But life doesn't go along with theories. We have seen many different shapes of the table you provided. There were those who claimed that after a while, the number of BTCs it would make 2X, with a 10% daily gain.
These are always in theory ...

I hope you're lucky enough to make these theories real. Because luck is a very important factor.

BTW, "in theory" Bitcoin could be $ 1 million! If you want you can buy just 1 BTC and wait with less risk taking. Wink

In deed. In theory everything can happen and everyone would be able to become a millionaire. But reality is way different. Thats why i am going to keep this journal here in the forum. In this way newbies can see it isnt that easy to make money with sports betting and majority will fail.
My goal is to reach a 5 figure eventually. But in reality it even is possible i need to reload 250-500€ multiple times before getting on a nice winning streak.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 26, 2019, 08:57:04 AM
Will probably follow the thread for your updates. Would be good to see how profitable this will be for you. I have not tried sports-betting. But i am considering trying it one day as it looks interesting.
A good sport-bettor definitely should have access to lots of information for increased chances of winning. Seems like you are the owner of one of the betting sites or are you just promoting it?

nei mate i am not the owner. It would be a dream to be the owner of betfair or colossusbets though. I am just a guy that loves betting on sports. And i am always trying out new things and search for the best ways to become more profitable.
I must admit i am owner of a small betting community but not online. We have a small 'live' group that has meetups on a weekly basis and share analysis of games. We also have a group pool where all our members contributed to and that we use to play group tickets.
But beside that i am not the owner of nothing.

I love to play on Betfair and i am a syndicate captain on colossusbets.

I am even part of this weeks dreamteam on colossusbets that composed this 2000€+ value ticket that is playing for a 800,000€ jackpot

https://www.colossusbets.com/syndicates/join/pool/36818/5000000042955

But i am not promoting anything. That is not the intention of this topic. I am not a guy that is using affiliate programs. Its a waste of time and energy that i can better use in analysing my games. People can join colossusbets and receive a freebet when using my code but i am not sharing it in my posts. Interested people can ask in a private message.

First bets will be placed tomorrow with a couple boxing day soccer picks and some colossus pool bets!!!! Stay tuned

This is one amazing journey you are starting. I wish you the best of luck on this.

Of course, count me as one of your cheerers with doubts deep inside. This is one journey that is probably ending on the losing end.

I'll be keeping track of this journal and might even bet with you later on if things go perfectly right.

It certainly is a fun and amazing journey. Ending up with 0.0000 is also a 5 figure. But well we will see where we can get from here. I think the goal is not impossible..... but very hard to achieve and it will take a very long time to achieve.
The only possible way to reach it fast is to be very lucky in the colossus jackpots that I am also going to play. For a very small contribution you can play for weekly guaranteed jackpots starting from 2000€ all the way up to 1.000.000€. Those jackpots are a nice alternate and new way of betting on sports. During my journey I will also give detailed explanations how this works

69  Economy / Gambling discussion / My sport betting journal. Build a 5 figure with a modest bankroll on: December 25, 2019, 09:44:47 PM
I am going to keep a sport betting journal over here. Before i start my topic i want to clarify a couple things.

· I do not give betting tips or betting advice
· I am not a tipster or never charge money for my picks.
· Following my bets can result in losses.
· Do not waste time on replying about casino games, house edge or other things not related to sport betting. It has no value in this topic.

· I do giveaways from time to time and share profits with my followers. In order to qualify to receive giveaway prizes or shares of my profits you need to follow me on Twitter. You can find me there as @HLpunter

The purpose of this topic is to show people that betting on sports is not that easy as some tipsters say. Lot of tipsters just want to drag as much people as possible and charge subscriptions. They claim to be professional tipsters but in the end followers end up loosing money cause of their shitty service.

Theoretically it all looks very easy to make money on sports. You pick some games.... put some money on it ..... hit correct ticket ..... and collect winnings. But the majority of people that bet on sport do not spend a single minute on analysing teams or players they bet on or study historical data. And thats just the most important thing about becoming profitable on sports betting. It only takes 15-30 minutes weekly to enter your bets but it takes hours and hours of analysis to compose those tickets.
Me personally i spend 30-40 hours weekly on composing my tickets and choosing games to bet on.

Very often you read stories about guys that turn 10$ into 25.000$+ in a matter of weeks. Theoretically it is possible but you will need so much luck to reach that. Theoretically you can even turn 10$ into 30k in only 20 bets. If you are capable to hit 20 consecutive 1.5 odd winning bets and you reinvest all your profits then it is possible ..... but like i said Theoretically.

Look at the screenshot below. You can turn 10$ into 30k+ but to be honest you will fail 99% of the times and i do not know someone has the balls to get this until the final bet. I personally would not have the balls to bet my entire bankroll 20 consecutive times. Final bets you would bet a couple 1000$ on a single bet.

So theoretically everything is possible but in reality it will be more difficult to make some decent money with sport betting.

That is basically it and i am going to keep a journal of all my sport bets (winning as well as loosing bets) , balances on my betting accounts, deposits and withdrawals. I want to be as transparant as possible.

How do i bet?

I bet in several ways. I always believed that spreading your bankrolls over multiple ways of sport betting systems it will pay off in the long run.

· I use value betting software to place bets on games with good value. A good bet does not require high odds... it needs to contain value.
· I bet on singles
· Bet on multiples
· small stake accumulators
· small stake one game bet builders ( multiple selections in the same game)
· Small stake system bets like goliaths, super heinz, lucky31,....
· And i play sport betting jackpots.

During the next months i will keep track of my bets in this topic. I will try to screenshot every bet that i play and i will update screenshots of my balances, deposits and withdrawals once every week.

I will start with a bankroll of approximately 400€ spread over 2 platforms. I place 99% of my bets on Betfair.com and on colossusbets.com. Maybe i will add more platform the following weeks or months but this will be updated in the topic.

Proof of funds

So lets see where this 400€ bankroll will lead us.

A small reminder: As i started my topic:

i will regularly do giveaways which will be free tickets, free percentages in my pool bets and even free cash from 1$ up to 100$ depending on my winnings

NOTE!!! There are not requirements, no subscription, no nothing. the only thing you need to do is follow me on twitter and retweet my posts in order to qualify for my regular giveaways.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New poker site... for me anyways. Funded my bankroll with BTC on: December 23, 2019, 12:33:38 PM
i used to play on ACR as well. it is a very good site and is running for many years already. But i am a pokerstars addict. So only play over there when they have a special tournament series.
But its nice they offer crypto deposits. would be a bomb if pokerstars would do the same
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet365 Restrictions on: December 23, 2019, 12:27:22 PM
i used to buy such accounts as well. But in the end it always gave me problems. since then i am only using bookies where i am able to register my own accounts.
On these bought accounts there were always issues. But now the bookies i use and where i have my own accounts never give me any issues. all deposits, verifications and withdrawals run very smooth.

73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymous Gambling and Self Exclusion on: November 18, 2019, 02:37:48 PM
I have a friend that is heavily addicted to gambling. And you are right. because of all the anonymous platforms it is very easy for him to keep gambling. He has a self exclusion on practically every available fiat gambling platform but he can just keep playing whenever he wants.

I also like the idea of anonymous gambling but to solve the self exclusion issue there will need to be some kyc procedure on every anonymous crypto gambling site. But for me that's not an issue. However I am a huge fan of crypto I rather do my gambling on regulated fiat platforms. I know if there goes something wrong on one of those sites they will do anything to solve it. but if there is an issue on a crypto platform (which happens a lot) you have nothing except an email and support chat to address your issue to.

I rather deposit 10k on a site like pokerstars, Betfair or bet365 than depositing 500$ on an anonymous crypto platform. I did that once cause it was cool being able to bet anonymous. But after winning 3,000$ in BTC they requested verification and I needed to pass kyc anyway. So in my opinion crypto gambling isn't that anonymous as people claim cause with any issue or big win they request verification and thats when all issues begin. I read multiple stories of players got their accounts frozen or thousands of dollar confiscated by the side, or about players not receiving winnings after a big hit but only receive their initial stake back. However I had to pass kyc verification on al fiat rooms... I don't care.... if I win big I know 100% sure I will receive my money.

And I agree with you that in near feature there will explode a bomb in the anonymous crypto gambling industry. I am pretty sure lots of governments will try to take them down one by one if they do not agree to get themselves fully regulated.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Syndicate pool betting results. 2,000€ in cashout offers currently on: November 18, 2019, 02:13:45 PM
its always nice to do some shared pool betting.

Me and 20 others each paid a slice of this ticket and we already cashed out 80% of the ticket for over 1,000€ which means 900€ pure profits.
Playing together always means having more lines to hit a decent win.

If you wanna join our group and take weekly shots at large jackpots..... just contact me
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 06:30:36 PM
I don't think that there's a huge difference between whether gambling with fiat or bitcoin, it's all about gambling sites which are based for crypto gambling didn't require your documents like Passport or ID card for verification like in gambling sites using fiat. I think also it's easier to gamble using cryptocurrencies that fiat cause it's always like few clicks and you'll load your account and make your bets and not like gambling sites which accept only fiat.

I don't really agree with that. On fiat bookies I use Neteller, Skrill and paysafecard. all 3 of them do not charge any fee and load my gambling accounts instantly. So there are many ways to fund your account on a fiat gambling site instantly. Even credit card deposits are instant. I think the only method that can take some time is a local bank transfer.
But I prefer skrill and Neteller. deposits and withdrawals lost instantly. If I for example witdraw from pokerstars to skrill I have my withdraw within 20-30 minutes most of the times. it happened once I had to wait for a day or so.

Agree crypto platforms do not require kyc but wait until you make a huge win. There are several that request kyc all of a sudden. and believe me it can be a hassle. saw many cases funds and account getting locked or frozen. So I still prefer gambling on fiat rooms and don't mind doing the kyc procedure
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 10:42:24 AM
I am a crypto believer myself but for me gambling it doesn't matter wether it is in fiat or in crypto.

Lot of crypto casinos, sports book claim to offer anonymous betting but I already had several occasions on several platforms that all of a sudden they need kyc verification. So in the beginning it can be anonymous but when you want a large cashout they still ask your kyc details.
Beside that I have seen many stories of people got their account prozen or locked for no reason, funds confiscated, not receiving their high won amounts. But they can do that. Where in earth do you go to if this happens when it all is anonymous. Most have a simple curaηao gaming license but no further contact details than an email or support chat.

So yeah I like gambling on crypto platforms but only for fun. When I bet large amounts (mostly poker and sportsbooks) I prefer fiat rooms. I do not care to run through the kyc procedure. But I know when I am betting on for example Betfair or playing poker on poker stars I will always receive my winnings even if I would 100k in a poker tournament.

Just imagine what if crypto never have existed. No one would have bothered to do kyc procedure cause gamblers want to gamble and if they need to provide their personal details they would never make an issue out of it. Crypto of course offers some kind of anonymity but well for me that does not make any difference.

Stupid examples

-I started on Sportsbet.io long time ago. no kyc procedure. Then a few months back I won 3,000€ in BTC and then suddenly they requested my personal details and kyc verification. So what is the point of gambling anonymous if they still ask verification when you want to cash out larger sums.

- Lets say you love poker and crypto.

what do you choose play on an anonymous room with maybe 100-200 players and guaranteed tournaments for peanuts like 100$ in BTC guaranteed or play on pokerstars which have 10,000s of players 24/7 and millions of $ in guaranteed prize pools every single week

First of all, what's the name of the site? Second, I don't think I could trust something like this that nobody could lose on their bets. This is probably another scam site with sweet promises to lure investors and gamblers.

lol I have mentioned the site. the site is https://www.colossusbets.com

this site is the largest sports pool jackpot operator in the world for years.
They have a heavy regulated UK gambling license.
Colossusbets has partnerships with the most well known sportsbooks in the world like Betfair.com

So first read all my posts and replies first before screaming out it is a scam. They paid out over 30 million GBP in jackpot winnings over the past years.

And I have never said nobody could loose on his bets. There are a couple conditions that I explained multiple times how you bet risk free by betting on colossusbets. But apparently nobody is willing or willing to take the logic.

its easy like this 10-10 = 0

you can earn up to 10% rebate on your own created pool tickets. And the minimum you have to contribute yourself is 10%. So this means if you meet the other conditions you get back in rebate reward what you added to your pool yourself.

Just to understand, there is no method for 100% guaranteed gain, people would not work or do any of the things they don't have to, everyone gambled and made a living from it.
This is probably from scam methods, an attempt to make money out of your wallet with stories of how easy it is to make money. Don't ever fall for things like this, the money will come if you are  hardworking, and if you are new, read this topic, just about that:

 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5200134.msg53033134#msg53033134

Mate you dont even understand what betting pool means. You have zero clue about sportsbetting. Trust me i know what a scam is. and i wil call it out easily. At this point I would say your motivational speech about bitcoin is worthless. Although i do like motivational quotes. But what this has to do with bitcoin lol? You either buy it or no. How you can work hard for bitcoin and what exactly you will achive? You cant make bitcoin to be more valuable or something. It is not up to you. While you wait bitoin to skyrocket. Make money in sportsbetting. Simple as that.

Thats your opinion mate.

mmmm don't know nothing about betting pools. not sure about that. I am 20th on the colossusbets.com captain leaderboard in my first official week as captain with a 54% ROI.
And you can verify all information I gave about the opportunity to earn back your own stake as a captain on their website.

And according to bitcoin. I just made a suggestion to the crypto community here. That site does not accept crypto but I just suggested to team up with a group where they can play on that platform with their crypto.

Its your opinion that this is a scam or not. Its is really funny.

-> In this thread I am considered a noob, a scammer and multiple other things.
-> And when I posted a giveaway worth 50$ 2 weeks ago in the rounds and games section then I was a good guy. By the way all participants can vouch they received their free ticket. And the person that won received the BTC in his personal wallet.

So please go somewhere else screaming out a person is a scammer, you idiot.

I even suggested to use an escrow that holds the coins until the end of all pool bets I would organise and I would fund the tickets out of my own pocket initially.

My message was to mateozi not to you bettingpool captain lol.

ok my bad. didnt get that well then. Finally someone that understand how pool betting works.... praise the lord. Hopefully you also understand the rebate part I explained and that there is a way to bet risk free
