In the cause of my extensive research in the early days, I’ve realized a very important rule of the thumb in the crypto markets — only invest what you’re willing to part ways with. This is because the market is exceptionally volatile, one which is fueled by hype and market sentiments rather than fundamental elements. This makes the crypto markets intensely risky; that’s why you have the potential to make loads of money or lose everything instantly. In modern finance, this is exemplified by the relationship:

Hard wallets are the most secure and user-friendly way to store your bitcoins. They’re like little banks that fit into your pocket. Hardware wallets are small, portable, air-gapped devices that generate your private keys offline.

Blockchain is a decentralized ledger technology that uses cryptography to secure the data it stores. This is the one-liner definition, in a broad sense! Now let’s break it down:
Decentralized, meaning there is no single authority which oversees every transaction that happens. Data travels through a relay of servers connected to the internet, making it virtually impossible to trace the data packet route. Why is it called a ledger? It stores the data relating to each ongoing transaction, like, digital signatures, the transaction time stamp, the amount(in BTC or equivalent) etc in a block, which after verification is added to the existing blockchain. Cryptography is a technique which uses mathematical formulations and algorithms to change/mask the actual data. Being over the internet this is a very crucial aspect of blockchain as it preserves the identity of the individuals in the transaction.

South Korea limitations (Mid January); Banks limitation (Mid January); Crypto Taxable (Mid of January); Indian doubts and their views on cryptocurrency (End of January); Facebook Crypto Ban (End of January); End of Credit card investments by JP Morgan (which is smart and I support). It shouldn’t be in debt (End of January); Chinese ban today. There are as many positive news as negative, but Media are talking only about bad news, because they are getting paid by governments and people who are interested in crypto fails. I don’t care about news and keep buying

If Facebook does launch a coin, it would probably have the highest circulation of any virtual currency, with a potential market of over two billion users.Facebook has toyed with virtual currencies before, with features like Facebook Credits, which was used for in-app purchases in games like Farmville. However, the currency never took off and was eventually abandoned.

The bitcoin is not volatile, it’s exchange rates are. Even the exchange rates are not extremely volatile. But it doesn’t matter.
The bitcoin (please stop saying Bitcoin, currencies are small letter + definite article) is a relativistic bare bones currency. That means that by design it does not rely on price-stability, it is not pegged to it’s historic self like fiat currency, and has no money illusion.
The bitcoin by design is a very good currency, it’s not a very stable wealth storing asset. And it does not need to be.
Your current account should always be zero, and you should keep your wealth in interest bearing assets.
Is the bitcoin very sensitive to demand and supply, yes. And it should be.
