62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has done it again on: April 03, 2019, 10:26:36 PM
I see some news some minutes ago, but is not on english, and say that someone want to buy bitcoin, not say who and this cause over 20% grow in price and price continue grow. I hope next stop is 7000$.

OTC Trade cannot trigger a price pump like this,

This event proves that the whole crypto market is slowly evolving and no sudden price pump like in year 2017. Everything from here will be purely organic growth.

True ... we need real evolution though slow
We do not want whales again They have destroyed the market for a long time
I feel that this time is real and will be followed by a correction process
I hope to reach $ 6K soon.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A day with Bitcoin on: April 03, 2019, 10:04:15 PM
Bitcoin isn't legal in some countries but even if in some countries, it's legal, one still have to face hassle if they want to use bitcoin in every step of real life. Most of the shops don't accept it.
In my local, it's not illegal but no one accepts bitcoin as currency or payment method. However, last week, I was in vacation and decided to use bitcoin for a whole 1 day. As bitcoin isn't allowed here, I choose one local guy(he owns a local exchange) who exchange bitcoin for my native currency. I decided not to use any fiat directly from my pocket. What I did, whenever I was in need of fiat, I had to contact with that local guy and sent him BTC for fiat. I could have done it at once but I choose to exchange only if I need. I could have used localbitcoin but it requires more time.

10 PM
I need approx $30 for transportation cost and I talked with the guy over phone and exchanged 0.02 BTC for fiat. I bought ticket and spent some fiat for foods. I had a few bucks left in my pocket. I reached at destination at 04:00 am and I had to have rent a room but I didn't have enough fiat. I called that guy at 4 am, he didn't picked the phone since he was sleeping. So, I had to spend some times at waiting room, at some point I slept for a while  Grin
I had a few bucks left from yesterday, spent these on breakfast. Again, I called that guy and this time, he picked up the phone. We had talked for some minutes, he was asking me to exchange all the amount I need to but I decided not to exchange these at once. So, I exchanged 0.05 BTC this time and rented a room. I spent couple of hours there. Later, went out for having some fun. After completing my lunch, I came back to room and had a rest for some times. In afternoon, I had visited some places, had some food. Then I came back to my room and had rest for couple of hours before going to dinner. I had left some fiat from the previous exchange. I used these for dinner and left almost nothing. I decided to exchange the rest 0.03 BTC because I had to have breakfast at morning. I slept till 8 am. Later, I got freshed and took my breakfast before getting back to my home.

Conclusion
You probably have easily read the whole story but only I know how much pain it was when I had to wait almost 5 hours without a single fiat money. I had done this only out of my curiosity. We are still far away from using bitcoin as our daily currency.

P.S- I had fiat option to pay since I had my card with me. I took it to avoid any unexpected issue.

You did not use BTC directly
Because you were bought by Fiat in the end
But it is an exciting experience and you try to spread the idea
Suggestion .. Next time ask every shop you enter Why do not you accept BTC ?

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing News , Wu 's New Coin OverMind has arrived , all bow before it. on: April 02, 2019, 11:00:11 PM
Where are the links? I think you need to share the links so we can read the whole news and we know what is happening.
But I wonder if that is the reason for Jihan Wu leaving Bitmain? So he can create a new coin that he claims will be "too expensive to buy"?
Sounds interesting but I need to know where is the source of the link.

It's April Fool, man
You did not notice that it was all fabricated and unbelievable
On April 1st, 2020 you have to be more careful, my friend Grin

I prioritize my privacy above this forum

And this is not because I am a criminal, but because I want to decide who has my personal details not be forced to give them

I miss the days BTC was truly a free market for everyone involved in it

April fools? Don't care, KYC is still an issue and this may soon become reality

I think you exaggerate a lot
It is just a joke no more and I do not think the management of the forum will fall into this big mistake
We are all against submission of personal data
It is enough for Facebook, Twitter and Google to exploit our data without our permission.

It's enough to quickly know my currencies rates
But considering it's a big site it's never appropriate to allow false information to be published.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: March 31, 2019, 10:38:14 PM
I am sick of new people who are here only for bitcoin price, only for gains and still talking about price ... Everywhere i see like bitcoin will go to 100,000 USD or 1,000,000 USD, they only want to get rich fast but bitcoin is not about it ... Bitcoin is about freedom and privacy . I see us as some kind of warriors against governments and central banking cartels, we are here to claim our rights and freedom back! We are here to create powerful tools that give more power to individual against governments ! We are here to change our monetary system ! Every government basically corrupt, they dont care about other people, i think every politician should be representative of his voters , but i feel its like we are serfs ! Think about it ...

Money always has a strong attraction, so do not despair
I personally think about profit and fortune but not overnight
I also have great goals like what you said
Financial freedom and disposal of the tycoons of the current financial system
Banks, Stock Exchanges, Corporations and Corporations.
73  Local / منصات التبادل / Re: bithumb اختراق بمنصة on: March 30, 2019, 09:38:46 PM

74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin Starters on: March 30, 2019, 09:30:33 PM
Since the market is still sleeping, i have to be patient and make something alternatively profitable like signature campaigns in order to not get bored. I have been active on campaigns since then and got plenty of bitcoins on hold.

Lately, my brother saw me browsing on bitcointalk then ask me a lot of things about this. After a couple of hours of question and answer, i hoprle he learned something from me. He wanted to try trading and engaging in bitcoin but he does not have anything. I ask him to read and familiarize bitcoin more and after that i would gave him some as a starter. After a couple of weeks, he tells me he's ready.

I lend him 0.2 BTC so that he can do trial and error in trading or even bet a little on gambling. I checked him yesterday and it seems that his doing good and earned even a little. I also noticed that he become more responsible mostly on financial things. I am planning to not take the .2 capital and just gave it to him since i saw that he's a hardworking person now.

By the way, he's just 15yrs old and im glad i teach him important things in that age.

Something good you did with your little brother
If you helped him in his learning of crypto
Surely he will help others and I think that is what the crypto community needs.
75  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinxcryptomining.com is it a scam? on: March 30, 2019, 09:07:50 PM
Anyone else have an unpleasant experience investing with Alex Livingston?

It seems that cloud mining projects have become like ICOs
Either fraud or useless
Passive income is one of the most important reasons for these projects

Advice
If you want mining you have to learn it and have your own machine.

Smiley
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP FOLLOWING BITCOIN WITH SENTIMENTS! on: March 29, 2019, 10:13:40 PM
This goes for any asset, manipulation via marketing and game theory is present in any market. People should always research the fundamentals and try to understand the thing they are investing in.

True words but
In the case of low liquidity in the market, whale impact is greater, as is the case now
But in the end the investor must learn to be able to protect his money.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Get Rich Quick - Bitcoin on: March 29, 2019, 10:00:30 PM
Ok, it is not what you are thinking. Bitcoin is not a Get rich quick scheme, but the UK series "How To Get Rich Quick - Season 1 episode 3 includes some footage of a rich entrepreneur, Dave Fishwick, creator of Bank of Dave, discussing Crypto currencies as one investment option to become rich.

Luckily for us, the Bitcoin price at the time, generated a small profit when that episode was shot and he even commented that the profit he made then, were the equivalent of 3 years of interest in a local Bank.

I made 800%+ profit on my initial investment over a period of 4 years. (200% per year) - Go watch the series, it is full of good tips for the budding entrepreneur out there.  Wink <It is also not focusing on Crypto currencies, but all the methods that can be used to increase your wealth>  Cool

Edit - I wonder how many people will only reply to the Thread title and not on the content of the actual topic now.  Roll Eyes

Wonderful that successful people are talking about BTC  positively
One article by a successful businessman is better than dozens of articles by academics, though their opinions are important
I believe that such steps will be devoted to the momentum required for BTC adoption.

https://www.longhash.com/news/findings-show-bitcoin-is-completely-legal-in-at-least-111-countries

"According to findings from Coin Dance, there are currently at least 111 countries where Bitcoin is legal. In many others, Bitcoin’s legal status is up for question or the currency is subject to some restrictions.
...
Currently, it says Bitcoin is illegal in only the following ten countries or regions: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Pakistan, Qatar, Republic of Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
...
There are a further nine countries where Bitcoin is classified as “restricted” according to the site. Of these nine, the two most prominent examples are China and India."

https://coin.dance/poli/legality

I would like to update these lists dear
Now Qatar is moving slowly to the list of countries that allow BTC trading
I think this trend will soon be clear and will have a positive impact on the entire Arab region
The global adoption .. we are on the way
