crashes every time a block is found. shitty client

good lord...finally, still get issues with weird vc++ messages popping up.
|
|

no block source available, despite 1 connection to the network.
also when I quit out of client, i get 3 popups for visual c++
Edit: works now, but even tho i try localhost/127.0.0.1, i get no servers were found that could be used to get work from

dumb question, but CST...Central Standard Time, or China Standard Time (There's a cuba standard time as well, but I highly doubt that's it). Only ask since there are a lot of chinese coins/people on here, it could be either. I'm assuming Central...

what's the likelyhood of me finding a block solo right now in say...3 days, with around 3.9Mh/s thrown at the wallet?

I don't know if this has already been covered, but if it hasn't. Why are you using Crapsy? It's one of the slowest, buggy exchanges out there. Vircurex is must faster at trading than cryptsy is. is there any possibility of using a different exchange?

You got issues. I have 3x r9 280x's, averaging 715-730Khps, 4G ram, and I'm only using 850-900 Watts, with slight overclocks.
thx , I'll check everything I have the drivers 13.11 beta and sdk 2.9 What overlock you done? Here's my bfgminer conf. I have a sapphire twin-x, gigabyte (with the windforce cooler) and an asus card. here are the stock/current clocks: gigabyte: 1100/1050 sapphire: 1020/1070 asus: 1070/1040 (seems to perform poorer at stock than 1040) I didn't over/underclock memory as it didn't seem to affect my performance that much. { "api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1,192.168.0.26", "api-listen" : true, "api-mcast-port" : "4028", "api-network" : true, "api-port" : "4028", "expiry" : "120", "kernel-path" : "C:\\Program Files\\BFGMiner\\/share/bfgminer", "log" : "5", "no-submit-stale" : true, "queue" : "3", "scan-time" : "60", "scrypt" : true, "shares" : "0", "auto-fan" : true, "device" : "0-2", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-engine" : "1050,1070,1040", "gpu-fan" : "0-85,0-85,0-85", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-memclock" : "1500,1500,1600", "gpu-memdiff" : "0,0,0", "gpu-powertune" : "0,0,0", "gpu-vddc" : "0.000,0.000,0.000", "intensity" : "13", "temp-overheat" : "85", "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "vectors" : "1", "worksize" : "256", "lookup-gap" : "2", "shaders" : "2048", "thread-concurrency" : "10240", "skip-security-checks" : "0", "expiry-lp" : "3600", "scan" : "opencl:auto", "no-pool-disable" : true, "no-show-processors" : true, "no-show-procs" : true, "no-unicode" : true }

Why not just try it yourself?
alright I'll give it 24 hours to see how profitability stacks up to multipool. 2.1Mh/s sent your way guys. May I ask how much were you netting at multipool ? I was getting around 0.035 or so BTC/day, or at current rates, around 22-25 USD/day. So far with trademybit, I've been getting around 0.04 BTC or 28-33$/ day, so it seems slightly more profitable. I have noticed one thing though, it seems there are problems with the pool connection maybe going down. Twice in the last 24 hours (to the best of my knowledge) my miner has gone offline from the pool. The first time, it sat for 4 hours before I noticed with a dropped connection, the 2nd time I set a fail-over to flip to multipool (using CGWatcher) to fail over if trademybit went down again. It did 3 minutes ago. Are you guys aware of any pool down times? Other than the 2-3 dissconnects, trademybit seems to be more profitable so far, and the lower fee is a welcome addition. We've been troubleshooting a few issues on the server side that has caused some stratum issues over the last 48hrs, mostly un-noticable, but there have been a few serious disconnects. We have hopefully resolved these issues and should be stable now. I'm glad you've found us profitable, we have had a lot of issues with Cryptsy (most of our miners are using them to auto-sell) crediting deposits for coins we have been hitting recently (ELC, MEM, DGC) and it's causing a backlog on these markets that our profit-switch algo did not foresee -- in retrospect we should have pulled some of these coins during that time -- and as such has caused overall 24h profitability to be lower than we would normally expect. We're learning, and adjusting to compensate for items like this moving forward.. while it may never be -perfect-, we hope to be profitable ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Well, if you need any sort of performance testing data, I am kinda anal when it comes to investing anything, and as I've pretty much paid for my first rig with profits so far, I am dumping another 3800$ into a second, 6 card GPU rig shortly that I will point here. I watch the pool profit calculations almost hourly, so if you need things like a heads up if #'s drop suddenly or something let me know ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

There has to be a reason for people to want this coin.
I don't see Grain mentioned outside this thread, ever.
And what is that reason? You tell me ahh nvm thought you were saying there "WAS" a reason to want this coin..my bad. Hey as long as it's not mined to hell, its good for us, no?

Been doing Android development for ~2 years now, wouldn't mind helping get started on that portion once you get something started. Count me in to help in any way I can

I thought about this as well, but I'm not well versed in C++. the arguement before was that you'd have to download multiple blockchains, but you already have to with having multiple wallets anyway, so it doesn't matter.

GREATĦĦĦĦ I have two R9 280X OC DUAL-X at 600 kh/s each power 1100 w +80 plus 8 GB RAM -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-engine 1010 --gpu-memclock 1495 --auto-fan --temp-target 80 --temp-cutoff 90 I am selling it on ebay. I want to buy 7950 x4 and mount them here ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi42.tinypic.com%2F2dgoozd.jpg&t=663&c=v4plSNcsylqxOw) I think it will be more efficient in electric costs . gonna stop watching this for a while, I bought in @ 66, and while everyone says it'll go back up in a few months, we'll see. If not, I'm only out 1.23 BTC, but watching the price every 10 minutes is gonna drive me nuts ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

How long did it take for you to get your case from them? I've been waiting a week and a half for 2 gorginas.

as a fellow software developer, I'd pay 0.1 btc for this, but 1 btc or even 0.5 btc is just gouging. you are, of course, entitle to charge whatever you want, but I guarantee you'd get a lot more interest/sales at a lower price point than 0.5 btc. If it were 0.1, or even 0.2 btc, you'd generate a lot more revenue off this than at .5+...but your'e the dev, so you can price it at whatever you want.
I'd buy a copy, but not for more than ~ 0.2btc.
