in a couple of weeks, LTBc will just be a mere token of participation. Value will go down (large supply) and more people on the forum means less for you.
Right now LTBcoin is only really used to pay for adspace on the LTB Network. As the network keeps growing, the uses for it will grow exponentially. Game shows, tipping system, more content, it's all coming. |

The very fact that you can "own stock" in a talent of some sort, is revolutionary. Imagine if you had seen Nirvana in concert before they blew up with "Smells like Teen Spirit" ? Imagine if you just knew ... JUST KNEW ... these guys were going to be huge. You saw the talent. You wished you could cash in on your prediction. Now you can.
Everyone I tell this story to hates Nicki Minaj but I knew she would become huge in her genre. I remember sitting there 5 years ago with a group of friends telling them she was going to blow up soon. I knew it was going to happen, and I actually said out loud: "I wish I could buy stock in her, rather than have to buy stock in the stupid record label. Assuming they're even publicly traded".
Likewise, I own my own online social networking website with several hundred thousand users. I am seriously considering adding this tool to the site, to encourage participation, draw content writers out of my audience, and engage my users with a profitable stake in our community. Everything about this concept is brilliant.

If every stakeholder was doing their part,The devs would not need to discuss raising more funds.
Let's not forget that this is supposed to be a call for participation. Now that nemstakes are on AE, I understand why someone that payed $1000+ for a stake feels that they have done their part, but there are still 2,000+ people who haven't stepped up.
As far as raising funds, what about selling off a portion of the "auctionable stakes", and using those proceeds for the development fund?

I don't really know about the whole Overstock thing but I have to tell you (even if I might be shooting myself in the foot) that the Counterparty Asset Exchange works pretty well so long as you aren't involving BTC in your orders.
Its a bit scary putting orders in because they always cost a fee but a lot of the time they get filled, even if the process seems bumpy and unreliable.
I have a feeling a lot of these problems will be ironed out in the near future when they release the newest Counterwallet software in the next month or so.
Interesting, I have never tried to trade inside the counterwallet, just because I have only heard bad things. I'm glad it worked out for you. May I ask what you were trading? I may need to give it a try myself. |

Proof of Quality, and Proof of Value, apply to content creators. Content creators are anyone that writes an article or creates a podcasts, for LTB. First the content creator receives PoQ points for submitting a qualifying article or podcast. Then after 1 month, the article or podcast is analyzed for the PoV award. I tried to sell some LTBC and it seems they are not selling :-s
I have never had any luck with trading in the counterparty wallet. I would suggest transferring your funds to melotic, I can verify melotic works, as I've used it myself. |

How much LTBcoin you earn doesn't necessarily correspond to how much someone is willing to pay for it. In my opinion LTBcoin is currently undervalued (but again, I AM NOT AN EXPERT). If you really need the .02BT then cash it out, if you can afford to hold out for a better price, you can do that as well. LTBcoin is still very new, and it's value is still changing rapidly on a daily basis. You didn't get me, again. If you went to belltown thread and saw how much he made in a week and compared it to me, you will find that, and don't panic, I was expecting around .5 BTC compared my effort to belltowns one. The question is, why didn't I reach the SAME result of belltown even, taking into consideration that I out an effort 5 TIMES OR MORE than him. Got it bro ? I think we are both misundertsanding each other. beltown received the most PoP this week because he dominated the referral system. No one else came close to the amount of refferals he got. Even so, he didn't earn close to .5BTC this week either. In fact, he probably earned less BTC this week than last. I am sorry that you thought you would have earned .5BTC this week. I did not mean to give you that impression. The reason beltown made so much LTBcoin this week is because he had almost a third of all the refferals this week. Now that people know how important referrals are, more people will collude to get referrals, and they won't be worth as much. This is exactly what happened last week with comments, people earned a lot of PoP making comments the week before, people caught on, and now that everyone is doing it, each comment is worth less. Does that make sense? |
