Is there any way you can compile minerd so that it is run from the command line on the Android system (i.e. compile as a normal Linux binary for ARM)? This would have a few advantages for some specific use cases: - Possibility to control and monitor the miner over SSH/any other remote shell protocol - Would run on devices with broken screen (or broken input method) - Android-version independent (I'm not sure)? - Better for people who love the command line  ^^  |

BTC-E, you do understand you are a business, because you are breaking just about every tenant pertaining to PR and damage control.
Making this post in the first place, why? Did you not realize the implications of making a post like this on a public forum where a large portion of your exchange users read/post? It boggles my mind how anybody with even the slightest amount of business sense would even begin to think this was a good idea.
Now your damage control is just as bad as the decision to post in the first place. Threatening to ban people in your chat that bring the subject up or to mention that you might close the chat completely, there is no better way to attract attention and in fact make the situation worse. Remember it was your poor decision making that caused the situation in the first place, and as I am sure any PR agent would tell you...

Stop threatening sanctions against your PATRONS, be still and silent on this subject, it will pass and the next controversy will come up and this POOR decision will become a memory. BTW i when't trew quickly and tallied the For you, Against you, and people just making comments. I'm seriously considering getting all bitcoin sites flagged to be honest.. the anonyminity of the currency is gone ... centralization is EVERYWHERE now and censorship is STRONGLY being supported by all major bitcoin sites , bitcointalk.org is huge about censorship , btc-e.com is jumping on the censor ship , posts are being deleted because they are too detailed with information that people don't want to hear , you call out the mass censorship on bitcointalk.org and you get banned , you discuss something they don't want you to discuss on BTC-e they ban you and say they will take unjust legal action , honestly I'm very tired of this , if you want to turn a currency I enjoyed trading for the simple fact there was no centralization , no censorship and it was anonymous into riding a massive wave on the public centralized censor ship then you have made an enemy in me Satoshi Nakamoto..
Are you hearing your self? you notice how the hole forum has rallied behind you? I realize they rallied behind me it doesn't stop the fact the fact that bitcoins have lost their core values , they are no longer the currency they were meant to be.. And apparently English is not your strong suit.... hey i'm not so great at spelling so who am i to judge. saying they "rallied behind you" would mean that everyone got behind you and supported you, which they didn't, which is why I said they did at an attempt at sarcasm. |
