Finally a quality coin,got tired of ETH I will TEST NOW
I made 30 coins in the past 24 hours. Quality coin? Not yet, it crashes alot and pays weird. But it might be a good coin! If the market deems it valuable. I cant see a world where something this easy to mine becomes worth more than fractions of a cent, though. There are server computing networks with more CPU hashing power than the overall ELI network combined, if one logs on here, they will be contributing all of the power to the network, finding all the blocks, and getting all of the coins. |

The wallet should work, make sure that your firewall isnt blocking it. Try re downloading the latest version.
Dont mine on the third party pools yet, Your wasting electricity. The main pool is the only one that pays properly, I have test over 10 hours between 3 nodes on 2 different pools, and the amount of shares recieved are less than half and payout is less than 25%. I wish that there was an easy to find location for information about how blockchain and pools work. I have read alot of information but there are still lots of gaps in info that are hard to find.

i had to go out for 4 hours and i mined 1.5-2kh/s on coin-miners and only got .7 coins. Worst rate so far. The main pool pays way better

How to mine alone?
I would almost say dont waste your time. This coin looks primed and ready to hit the shitter. Its been down 10+ times since i started 16 hours ago. I have made 30 coins (currently worth $0.00) and i dont see why anyone would want to give this stuff any value when the webpage took 5 mins to make and the coin doesnt even work. Starting to regret wasting my time. Also there is already a coin called. ELI, its called Elisor Coin and its hit the shitter already. If you try to look up the value of this coin you might get results for that other coin.... they arent for this coin, this coin is worth nothing. Its just an identical copy of other unsuccessful altcoins. Nothing special here, mostly the opposite really. |

No DDOS protection? I want to have faith but whenever i look at my computer it says reconnecting. ddos attacks can last for days, obv someone not to happy with him, best to use another pool until he has it running again. Right now we're moving our server to other provider with DDOS protection. Yea.... get a secure website too, not too sure why its unencrypted to begin with... Never seen a pool like that, especially not an unofficial pool. Lol imagine if this currency actually became something. OH sorry investors, our pool is down for the 14th time today, we apologize. Going to withdraw all resources very very soon and switch to a different coin. This coin seems fly by night, the site was made in 10 minutes and has NO info. |

I want to have faith in this coin.. I have mined 30 already.. but honestly this is BS. This pool sucks, the official pool has been down 8 times in 15 hours, the payment schedule doesnt make any sense AT ALL. In theory i understand but in practice, what happens is totally different. The dev is starting to show their colors. Without a proper whitepaper, im going to drop this coin asap.

Elicoin can be mined only by CPU thanks to YescryptR16 hashing algorithm. GPU mining can be done too, but it is very slow and unefficient, that's why there is no GPU mining software available. This article is about how to mine Elicoin on CPU only.

Taking advantage of coins with limited supply like this is profitable in the long run. However as read some posts some problems arise, do maybe if there is no more outages it would be nice to mine too. Just follow the steps and instructions. I can help get you going. I am mining ELI on 3 rigs with 2 different mining programs, windows and OSX. What kind of TEMPS are you guys getting and which protocol are you running the miner with? (ie. AVX2, SSe2) use avx2 if your processor supports it, and temps doesnt really matter, everyone will probably use different cooling options on their processors and it will be down to that for temps, mine never goes above 58 degrees and ive never had to worry about it, whats more important is lowering the voltage when overclocking the cpu to get most hash for electricity consumption, which should also have the passive effect of lowering the cpu temp. I am just curious about how hot people are getting. My CPU wanted to run at 85 degrees with all 8 cores going under avx load. I sorted it without losing much hash, but just wondering if the heat is an issue for other people with this algorithm. I get free power here  its included in the rent of the apartment, and its a building owned by a huge corporation so i dont feel bad haha. its running fine for me, whats the connection error that you are getting? He is using the wrong port for the pool, that is his issue. He is using the port for Coinminer on the main Elicoin pool. hehe |

Anyone tested GUI miner ?
Nah, its just a graphical skin for cpuminer-opt-3.8.3.3. I just use the original like other miners. It looks nice beside my gpu miner . How useful is the project? How is it different from the others except CPU mining? This difference is not enough to attract investors

The idea of blockchain based currency, in the eyes of many, is one that is decentralized. ASIC and gpu farms completely nullify the idea of decentralized. After a certain amount of time they are the only ones able to gain the currency, once the difficulty reaches a certain level. It is a ticking timebomb to decentralization once that difficulty is reached. Guess who owns the big farms? Anyways many other coins are gpu and ASIC resistant, but this one is brand new and we are on the ground floor. If the devs show that this coin can be worth something, i will stick with it. If not, ill liquidate(if possible) and move on. hopefully this one is THE one Are the rewards the same if i use one of your pools compared to the main pool? I have three i7s running on main pool right now, im looking for highest rewards.

i'm mining here https://pool.coin-miners.infonow i have 2.5 on my wallet with 300h/s on core i5 pool said: Payouts are made automatically every 0.5 hours for all balances above 0.01, or 0.001 on Sunday. The dev has stated that this pool is not verified. I dont know what that is worth its worth more than the devs pool, mined on the verified one all night and only got 5 elicoin, mined on the other pool and earned just under that in an hour, something wrong with the "verified" pool The entire ELIcoin system went down a few times for 20ish minutes during the past 4 hours.. Ill switch to the other pool with one worker and see what happens hmm that may account for a lack of earning on the official pool but i have no way of checking anyway which is another reason why i switched, but if they sort their pool out and put some sort of earning check i;ll switch back I just switched to the CoinMiner pool so i will post which pays more over 2 hours for the same rig. im reporting 980h/s on either pool with my miner. |

how can i see my stats on the pool?
You cant. You can search your wallet but it only shows block rewards to your wallet. I hope that they improve the system soon or i will switch to a bigger pool  . I can wait a little bit though! How long does it take to get a mining reward? Mining since the last hour but I have yet to see anything in my wallet.
From my understanding, the pool does not pay by a set timeframe, it pays per block, once it becomes 100 blocks old. EXAMPLE if you contribute to block 450, you get paid your reward for that block after block 550 is computed. so you theoretically you should be getting paid every round after 100 round time, but it doesnt happen that way. I am getting bulk payments of multiple rewards at once, so there is clearly a time interval for payout. I dont understand completely. My last 3 payments have been spaced 30 minutes apart and were 1.1-1.3 coins each, but the previous 6 payments were 0.1-0.3 and spaced out every 3 minutes. |

The pool doesnt show the combined hashrate of your workers, but my miners are reporting; main is 980h/s (i7700k), second is getting 390h/s (17-4900mq), and third is getting 330h/s on an i5 something macbook lololol. damn, fast enough no because im not rich haha. I am going to make separate receive addresses so that i can track the different CPU performance separately. I wish the pool gave more info. I can easily put together a guide for normal people to start mining this on their everyday computers that most people have doing nothing half of the time. Problem is that its kind of worth nothing right now. Once it has a value, it might be a good idea. |
