By the way what I mean is we should be clamoring for an exchange if there are buyers nipping at our heels. I have only heard a couple people ask to buy and a bunch of miners ask to sell. I want this coin to succeed and hope people would at least try to get two people interested in buying before demanding an exchange. One way markets will stay one way all the way down the tube. Sadly I'm not the most social person so I'll have to substitute myself for my two buyers. But I still am cautious about an exchange. I'm not voting yet but I know it'll happen sooner or later, so for those of you really trying maybe think about MCXnow. They had a lot of activity when they added MAX but it's died down with the inevitable correction MAX had. Maybe they would be looking for a new kid on the block.

People have to comment because a successful coin release makes them feel like it hurts their LoLZOMGAWESOMESAUCEcoin that they are backing. Coins that have communities succeed. Coins without them don't.
Speaking of which, I don't think LoLZOMGAWESOMESAUCE coin has come out yet. I smell a winner!
If people think there isn't enough room in the market for more alts(the active ones). Then just look at every other market out there. 20 different flavors of pop, 20 different banks, 20 different grocery stores, 20 different everything, but they are all the SAME thing. Cryptos are in a convention center that can hold thousands of stalls yet we're all fighting over the ones by the front door turning anyone whose interested away because they dont want to buy anything from a bunch of animals. Also who do people think ddos' the launch of every new coin. It's like people saying "don't eat at that burger place, hamburgers are horrible, eat these hamburgers."

At the end of the day, the best thing everyone can do is vote on the exchanges, keep mining, and keep promoting DNotes. It really is a great crypto and will hit the exchanges eventually. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) +1 an exchange will come. Please no I need to pay bills excuses. I don't want to be a dick but if you spent 10k on a mining op and cant afford to run for a couple months with out return, you are an idiot. I hear it all the time how people need to pay bills, in which case the response should be go mine Doge then. Remember this, if a big miner is turned away because of a lack of exchange, it will only be a matter of time till they come back. An exchange will be inevitable, but if we wait for the plan to come to further fruition, there will be more solid value and less speculative. Also the longer 400+ people(if the numbers haven't dropped or risen much) get in on the bonus blocks before an exchange the less the multipools and mining behemoths will get since they wont mine till there is one.

Digital notes, this sounds interesting!

The only annoying experience I've had with this coin is COMCAST! Other than poor ISP and shabby router this coin has been smooth sailing.

Attention all supporters looking to do something more than mine! The Dev has created a thread listing current bounties and contests here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=477479 (link in OP too) There is something for anyone to do as long as you have a brain and a computer(since we're here I'll take that as a yes!) Good luck!PLEASE use extreme caution when trading no matter the reputation/claims/escrow/anything really. If you get screwed PLEASE understand the EXTREME RISKS associated. The only responsible parties are buyer and seller. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Please use PM to facilitate trades all offers hereafter will not be added unless pm'd and post if any deleted, OK whatever I'll add em all I just wanted to keep it cleanPlease do not be turned off by low buy prices. The coin is new this is what happens to EVERY coin. It's cheap to order a lot of coins for next to nothing on the off chance some one will actually bite. I am unbiased and will NOT remove orders based on my/your opinion only the buyer/seller can request that. So once again don't fret with low prices it's just a trap for greenys. TXids will be provided for DNOTES on my end upon request. Trade amounts confirmed in PM with all involved addresses from both of you. DNOTES sent to me. Upon confirmation of DNOTES in my wallet I will ask for BTC to be sent Upon confirmation of received BTC I will release DNOTES to the buyer Buyer/seller assume all responsibility as long as these requirements are met. I assume responsibility for DNOTES only, from when they are received in my wallet to when they are sent. * forgot to mention I am JUST a miner/supporter nothing more, I can help with setting up miners, etc. but not with problems pertaining to pools or the actual coin itself. I'm still not mining. I have notes @ validation error and I suggest they do something about it now.
I'm pretty sure that valid error pool is based in the US GMT -8 or -7 if I remember right. So when they go down or any pool/site take into consideration their location and them possibly sleeping or going out. Not all pool operations are run by a team so they can be finicky at times. Just remember there are other pools to set as fall backs. and if you like the pool that's going through downtime hop back over when they're back up. I don't know if some of you know this, but you can setup failover system. I'll get the exact code but it's something like --failover-only. If you append that after your last argument in the miner.bat then ad the pool settings after like -o stratum+tcp://noteus.charityminingpools.com:3330 -u (username) -p (workerpassword) It will automatically switch to that pool when the main one you have specified has gone down. I will try to get some desktop youtube walkthroughs going today.

Thank you for the help from the dev, Tofer and poolnetwork... Poolnetwork has helped me to change my email into gmail. And successfully updated my account information. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Sorry for the previous claim. It is NOT a scam pool!!! BTW Everyone want to mine this pool better use GMAIL otherwise you may have some trouble. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Not a problem. I'm glad everything worked out for you. Yay, one more happy miner.

I counted 421 miners across all pools in the OP and we have a network hash of 453Mh/s!!
There seems to be pretty good distribution amongst miners here, nice!
Let's get more small timers here to get these coins spread out further before any exchange so when those big farms do hit they find an army of grassroots miners beat their greedy butts to it.

10% Premine?
Good luck with that.
Agreed. Epic Fail. Just gonna dump the shit out of it when it hits an exchange. Not even worth mining ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) If he doesn't pay for bounties/ give it all away first. Did you even read any of this thread or the first page!?

We are working on a few more faucets, with different payout strategies, to better fit the needs of the community.
I think the current faucet is interesting. I haven't seen one like that before. Does that payout method eliminate the need for tons of ads to surround the page? also I can see people wanting a paste and click system as well but isn't the current one a true faucet in the sense that you can get as much as you're willing to click not wait for? It is interesting indeed, if one wanted they could earn a good amount of coin if they had the time to invest. On the other hand some users would be more interested in the time limited approach. definitely, it'd be great if people new to crypto had the patience for that but I just think to allow for a broader community, the daily faucet is a lot better! I just offer to set up wallets for friends and family and give them some. I ask them if they've ever heard of crypto and I give them the rundown. It's funny because if they've heard of bitcoin and are somewhat familiar with it's stories. They say "well I'm just going to sit on them and see what they're worth in a year or two." A lot of people know about crypto but they've heard it all from the big news outlets and we know how flattering they are. I can't wait for the day where I ask them "how many of those coins did I give way back? Let's see... OH! you're rich!"

Don't take the warning lightly you can not change the email once the account is created so don't mine till you know yours works. It will be a massive headache if you don't! As one of us has already found.

OK! I've had enough with your whining! JOKING!!!!! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I have tried the pool my self and am reporting both of you are right! The pool does have a working confirmation system to an extent. I first created an account with my comcast address and it did NOT work! I then created an account with my gmail and it DID work! So I am happy to report that the pool IS working, just be sure to check that your email service can receive them before mining. I will PM the dev and the pool op to let them know so you can change the email or just get the operator to manually withdraw as well as any support avenue on the pool site. Sorry you're having a bad time. I have some coinage for you if you'd like, and I am very confident you will get your coins from the pool.

A healthy starting price I would like to see is a nickle per NOTE. It may be low but is a good number to work with.
So people got $100 just by posting their wallet address? Starting price will be less than $0.01 imo. That could very well be. Like I said I'm no expert. But really, why not $100. The dev is trying to garner big attention. If every community member, no matter the size of mining op or portfolio, is able to receive a relatively decent share of the coin. It could bring true publicity as one of the few to be added to the list of justly, for the good of the coin and all investors, pre-mined coins. You could also say that the dev is giving away so many because he believes in a small price. But with the dev's activity and enthusiasm I find that hard to believe. So everything aside whether it's $0.05 or $0.005, there is a bright future for this coin. I wouldn't mind a start of a penny or less as well, it'll let me get some more with what little BTC I have left after I by some stroke of genius or luck pulled most of my holdings before this fiasco. Which may I remind you is still happening!
