61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: July 20, 2021, 10:58:23 AM
With the expensive electricity bill consumption, I would rather go cobaider buying and investing bitcoin which I am doing since 2018. Not all can afford the mining machine + time and effort + electricity. But if one will just invest their money  which you will just wait for the good opportunity to rise which many are doing.

But then, we have different point of views when it comes to investing. Other may still prefer mining as bitcoin's value is worth enough to mine and to sell in a perfect time.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A comment about cryptocurrency that's stuck with me on: July 20, 2021, 09:40:39 AM
At some point, there is a valid reason why they say it. Other people who use cryptocurrency thought they are free from the regulations as decentralization made them think they can be poweful with the use of it.

But governments now are doing their best to implement the law regarding cryptocurrency use as they think this may lead to uncontrollable situation in the future as technology rise so fast.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 20, 2021, 04:08:17 AM
Law regulations would be the reason why they are quite hot against binance. Though other country's prohibited the use of this exchange according to their flow of law towards cryptocurrency like the recent banned from UK. However, many countries still use Binance as this exchange proved already their good reputation.

And with all of those banned, I still prefer Binance as one of the best exchange in crypto. As long as my country doesnt yet implement some restrictions bout this exchange, it will still be my best choice.
64  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Does blockchain.com refund stolen funds? on: July 19, 2021, 10:21:58 PM
Like what you've said, the fund was stolen. Definitely it will not be refunded. Neither will return by blockchain.com. if the website is fraudalent or scam, it should be shut down or maybe he entered a phishing site that hacked his password.

There are so many possible reasons about funds suddenly gone away. But the fact that this is happening mostly with the users of blockchain.com, it must be reported immediately.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: July 19, 2021, 02:41:46 PM
Honestly, I once joined that bounty signature before with stakes and never joined again. I mean, I just improved my skills and rank up then joined signature campaign with bitcoin payments. It is worth than bounties which you would wait for the reward payment after launched of the project or after it will be listed in an exchange without surely if the value of that coin is worth enough or not.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get trading advice and tips from? on: July 18, 2021, 03:31:09 AM
It is so important you have a trading buddy that may give you a good advice when it comes to trading. And browsing here in btt forum helps you to grow, there are many advices here that a particular trader already expericed and make you at least prevent those bad moves that they already did.

Also, trading groups are helpful too to learn more , just be vareful whom you talked to there . As I have experienced being scammed by those flowery words  which I admit my mistake by trusting them.
67  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Marriage on: July 18, 2021, 12:06:37 AM
Whoah, if this is true, isnt marriage a sacrament thing? Though I respect the couple's way of exchanging rings but the marriage shall be sealed not just by the use of blockchain.  The ring is a tradition and if the couple wanted to change that tradition in a modern way, its up to them. Although, many people will criticize this kind of marriage especially those who dont understand blockchain tech.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is my Ethereum lost forever on: July 17, 2021, 11:16:08 AM
Found this explanation from exodus wallet.

Quote
Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) are two separate currencies. However, the addresses are identical in format, so it's very easy to accidentally send ETH to ETC and vice versa. If you do this by mistake, your transaction will show confirmations, but your funds will never appear in your wallet.

In this case, transactions are irreversible and you are liable with your mistakes. Better to always recheck the address as those two cryptocurrencies have the same format of address.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: What's going on in China lately on: July 17, 2021, 08:54:44 AM
They are just being conscious to  secure the health of the individual within their country. As I've read here that the shipping are delay due to congestion. Also, sanitation of shipped products are significant to make sure the covid19 virus will not spread again. They might just control the import and export transmissions but not totally to eliminate the process.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin completes value transmission, how to perfectly avoid criminal ? on: July 17, 2021, 06:35:51 AM
You cant really avoid those evil minded to use bitcoin to their criminal activities. As this decentralization and this type of anonymous transactions were the advantage for them to continue and upgrade their activities, authorities are also wiser to catch them as the technologies can now traced their informations, etc.

While innovations are being updated, some unusual activities related crypto transmissions were being found, too.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future money! on: July 16, 2021, 02:44:51 PM
Partly, yes bitcoin may somehow pass the requirements of being an anlternative money for online transactions. Because we are talking about future here and technologies as the time goes are well improving together with innovations. If future money means online transactions, the only issue I am pretty sure that could be the problem is the volatility.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 year Will be Bad for Economy on: July 16, 2021, 04:16:39 AM
Hopefully, 2022 will somehow improve our economy. Who knows? Government will still find a way to make productive solutions towards this economic crisis.
Market speculations  always exists but printing money is a serious thing and doesnt just rely on speculations, it is based on study and overall economic budget.

73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Tips for Trading from Beginner, For Beginners. on: July 16, 2021, 12:27:35 AM
Its good to read some advices in trading even if Im not a newbie on that field. As I am forgetting some of those like managing emotions, hastily clicking when market goes on the opposite way to my trade.

Beginners should always remember those things as we tend to forget those reminders. A certain stop loss is very significant in every trade and also setting profit goal is indeed important, too.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptophobia, causes, effects and solution. on: July 15, 2021, 10:45:40 PM
We all experienced loss, others might feel that they dont wanna experienced another huge loss but those who take a risk and understand well the essence of crypto volatility, the significant of trying again and never give up. I, myself almost gave up but I still look for the brighter side and continue.

There will always a solution, a counterpart of any loss, a compensation and answer. If we just learn previous mistakes we can improve our way of crypto investing.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Identifying Satoshi Would Be a BAD Thing on: July 15, 2021, 04:29:21 AM
Let just let the man or the "group of men" alone if Satoshi was dead or still alive there is no point of finding him. He/They wanted to stay anonymous forever. He's too smart not to trace him until npw with lots of people who still tried to track him down.

And he left with assurance, he already achieved what he wanted to do with bitcoin. Beyond expectations with its blockchain system and with its value today, Im pretty sure he is happy with the outcome.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 14, 2021, 09:08:06 AM
This was tackled many times before. Fiat currency is the country's legal, approved currency that is centralized. While cryptocurrency is way different as it is decentralized and some government dislike the volatility of it. While cryptocurrency can also be used as payment method, in some remote areas, fiat currency is more convenient.

About that question that has been asked many times before? Think twice about crypto adoption first.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you miss buying games on Steam by paying with bitcoin? on: July 14, 2021, 05:35:46 AM
Tried paying my bills from my local wallets with bitcoin.
And about purchasing any games using bitcoin? Not yet tried it. Though Im kinda feel regret spending my bitcoin with those games, there are still players who always do buy some skins, etc. That can be used from their games.

But then, I always used bitcoin by purchasing other products and used them in other ways.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Average Bitcoin Buying Price? on: July 14, 2021, 03:20:49 AM
Got some when bitcoin dropped down to $3k before. And if it will gonna go down just below 20k, I will definitely buy some again. And about that forum rank, there is no significant correlation between price buying, etc. It all depends on each member what price do they wanted to buy bitcoin, as long as they know how to make some profit out of it. Then regardless of the price, it will definitely be worth it.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I rather stay hungry than sell my Bitcoin on: July 14, 2021, 02:12:36 AM
I understand where your point coming from. But when there are many ways to satisfied your hunger without selling off your bitcoin.
-Borrow money from your immediate family (im pretty sure they will help you with that reason)
-Seek full time or even part time job (that will help you compensate your hunger issues)

Theres always a choice. Whether the market will gonna go up soon or not. There is always a way not to sell that off if you regret selling it.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from Robinhood on: July 14, 2021, 12:02:49 AM
This is a warning for crypto newbies out there, stay away from robinhood do not buy your coins from this scam ecosystem cos all they do is prevent you to buy and sell

Appreciate your warning , thats why I dont even use some new existed and least reputable  exchanges. I always used those exchanges that was established, have a good feedback and reputation and was being tested by many considered its legitimacy.

If two or more users have a complaints with a particular exchange like Robinhood and they dont even fix the issue, then its time to leave that scam exchange.
