Would any of you guy be interested in replacement back plate with most of it cut away, but still giving your the standard mounting points.

Dropped the temps by 5c and also reduced the power draw at the wall by 10watts per card,
I then over clocked it some more which put the temps and power back to the same figure

There's 1 screw under the main plastic cover, Only 6 small screw to remove the cover. Takes less then 2 mins to remove the back plate.
Very easy job and well worth it

Hi try these
With the following I got 890 k/hs
Pulling 365watts at the wall per card
thread-concurrency 20481 I 20 gpu-engine 1015 gpu-memclock 1500 gpu-powertune 20
Temps are 72c but this is in a 10c room. 1 good trick, remove the mounting back plate, it lets the air flow quicker, dropped my temps by 5c, plus with the temp drop, saved 10watts per card
By I run mine with the following setting
850 k/hs
Pulling 330watts at the wall per card
thread-concurrency 25960 I 20 gpu-engine 950 gpu-memclock 1250 gpu-powertune 20
Temps are 68c

insignificant difference, move along, nothing else to do here but watch it hash.
Very true, I will even be slowing it down a bit once I've done it. I'll happily run at 850 day in day out because I know I can trust that to run 24/7 It's just the fun of the challenge

It's the R9 290 4GB GDDR5 BATTLEFIELD 4 EDITION.
I've been searching the net all weekend and trying different setups, So far I haven't found anyone over the 900kh/s mark with this card.
1 trick I found was to remove the mounting plate which lets the air flow out the back quicker. This dropped the temp by about 5c which in turn drop the power usage by 10w per card.

I just want to make 900 Currently running at thread-concurrency 20481 I 20 gpu-engine 1015 gpu-memclock 1500 gpu-powertune 20 Temps are on 68c I've tried adjusting everything plus and minus abit each way, but either says the same or drops.

is 20358 the current block
You got on the same fork I was on, which is apparently the wrong fork. I deleted the "blocks" directory to force a re-download, which my wallet is in the process of doing. I suggest you do the same. I've looked at a lot of the pools and there all on this block. Who is right? ?

So will block 20290 have the new difficulty of 16 or is it after block 20290?

I've heard a lot about these cards not been that good, But I've got a XFX 7950 running at about 625 kh/s which is only about 25kh/s below my gigabyte 7950.
Have I just struck it lucky on this card.
Lets hear from other users

I've been mining this coin since the start, I know the block reward is random, but how many coins should you expect form 24 hours of mining with 3.5mh/s.
Looked at the est coin per day at different pools and they all seem total different.
Thanks for any help

I mined on multipool for about 20mins, but didn't think it was working, so I switched to hackshard. Got up this morning and it my hackshard account I had about 500,000, but in my multipool account I had 450,000. I did notice that when I switch to the hackshard pool the first 3 block had difficulty of 1, then I think it went to 10 or 16.
This was with 3.6mh/s
