I think the inflation seems a little HIGH on this coin, but if the ALGO is what it says it is, then it has some great potential as a CPU-friendly coin. I think the Tidecoin graphic could do with an update as well. It looks so 2009. It needs an exchange ASAP too. 7/10 so far. Improving.
yes a good and reliable exchange

The windows version is fine now. Please download https://github.com/tidecoin/Tidecoin-miner/blob/master/cpuminer-x86-window.tar.gz

Then uncompress it use WinRAR or others. Then run: cpuminer.exe -a yespower -o stratum+tcp://185.207.207.168:3008 -u TGuMQuQemCsKMtUdVqjeiR39WQKMw4Q3VK

Please replace TGuMQuQemCsKMtUdVqjeiR39WQKMw4Q3VK by your own Tidecoin address.

After 100 blocks, you can received your coins at the address you use in the miner.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NOSO [ANN] Totally New Cryptocurrency: Not premined+OpenSource+POW+Auto exchange on: January 02, 2021, 12:14:50 AM
To all the people who contacted us:

- We are currently not looking for paid promotion services. There are no funds for that. WE will not ask for investors until the network is online and stable.
- You can not mine yet.

We are looking for:
- People who can provide a pc with an open port to run a server, prefereably with a virtual machine, to start the network. Those people would be the first miners.

hello i have a pc with open doors, could help
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: January 01, 2021, 08:32:33 PM
Look forward to the change from POW to POC, which will fundamentally eliminate the advantages of GPU.
POC has higher professional requirements for miners.
The current market for POC projects does not seem to be doing well.

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Circcash has been launched on: December 31, 2020, 04:56:32 PM
99.9% of the work in Circcash mining is simply running the following piece of code which runs the linear feedback shift registers (LFSRs).

Code:
for (i=0; i <32; i++) {
point=hash[i];
for (j=0; j <4;j++) {

lar=point&3;
if (lar>1){lar^=18;}

cc=((cc<<8)|(cc>>7))&32767;
dd=((dd<<8)|(dd>>9))&131071;
ccc=cc<<24;
ddd=dd<<24;
cc^=(ccc>>23)^((ccc>>21)&(ddd>>21));
dd^=(ddd>>21)^(ccc>>23);
cc^=lar<<2;
point=(point>>2);
}
}
and for windows?

This code is far simpler than SHA-256 or any other cryptocurrency mining algorithm especially when it comes to building ASICs. The simplicity of this part of the algorithm is probably what made it so easy to configure GPUs or even FPGAs to obtain a high hash rate.
