62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: November 29, 2018, 09:42:44 AM
That's the time we can officially say that after 2/3 of the Q4 we have seen a great crypto market crash, and this year is totally different when compared to last 3.
Now, I think the question is, how long will it take to rebound to the levels it was during the boom? 2013 crash took basically 4 years to get back to the point it was (if we are talking about Bitcoin price). Will this take as long? Anyway, seems like a real bear market is ahead of us.

I got one bad story of my own now. Was interested in a project that was starting a crypto smartwatch project. But it seems they flew away with the money. Some big big amounts of tokens have been sold on the market under 1000x of the market value and now these tokens are basically worthless.. website is down as well.. not good signs.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price dropping after ICO, why so? on: November 21, 2018, 10:32:56 AM
man, forget about ICO, market is full of cheap altcoins with high hype level and now all what you have to do is just buy cheap altcoins!
Don't select risky assets!

This is a good point as well. But, still there are great projects that are going to launch their ICO's, so I see no point to just completely stop investing in ICO's. Though I also agree with your statement. Just some research on upcoming ICO's is needed.

And remember, not all tokens prices are falling after the ICO. It all depends on different factors that are discussed in the thread here.

68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: conspiracy theory on: November 21, 2018, 09:56:15 AM
Conspiracy theory are fun, entertaining, but mostly they are just that and nothing more. I mean these are possible, but as long as we don't have proofs, then I'm not thinking about these possibilities.
69  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe killing the crypto atm business on: November 21, 2018, 09:54:48 AM
Can we get a TLDR?

I think KYC/AML free ATMs are already something of a mythical thing. I've heard of ATMs wanting palm prints, photos of faces and every possible detail of your life.

That is true. ATMs only offer convenience, not anonymity.
And in a developed economy, you expect AML controls to be in place.

Unfortunately if you want convenience then you got to give something back, pay for it. In this case, you pay with your identity, your info.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: November 21, 2018, 09:50:29 AM
I think it is just another article to create FUD in the last hodlers, make the price drop even more to make these times even better for those who are looking for a nice long-term investment opportunity. It's just a great time to buy now and wait for couple of years for the next upswing.

Step-by-step guide:

1. Buy now
2. Hold and wait for next upswing
3. Sell
4. Make a nice profit

I would sit back, relax, listen to some crypto covers on YouTube, laugh and wait for the next bull-run while accumulating as much cheap coins from the market as I can.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart invest on altcoins ? on: November 21, 2018, 09:43:39 AM
Always do the research on the team, company, the project and the idea itself. If there is a need for a project and the token and no red flags in the research, then you might want to look into buying their tokens.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2018, 09:40:28 AM
Bitcoin isn't the best coin, it's not the fastest or cheapest in terms of fees. So, I think it will be just a matter of time when another coin takes over the number 1 spot. It won't happen in next couple of years, but it will happen. Right now Bitcoin is just too popular and famous, it was the first and changes in peoples' minds will take time.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Black friday!=) on: November 21, 2018, 09:36:48 AM

75  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell domains crypto on: November 21, 2018, 09:35:09 AM
Hi friends, currently have the following domains for sale.
dash-buy.com -  10 000 - 25 000$
dash-fund.com - 10 000 - 30 000$
crypto-vito.com - 2 000 - 12 000$
btcvito.com - 45 000$
The transaction can be made via Uniregistry Market  Smiley

Those prices are way too high. These aren't even premium names. I would be surprised if you get up to €1k for any of those. Not even talking about the $45k asking price..
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price dropping after ICO, why so? on: November 21, 2018, 09:31:33 AM
What i have seen is that bounty hunters can be a reason for the drop in some cases. But nowadays, the investors panic as well. They might be less in number but in the starting volume is less as well. So panic sellers can bring that dump which creates further panic. Listing an ICO token while in bear market is risky.
sometimes investors, and bounty hunters are also the main cause because they want to make a profit. well, because sometimes many people are attracted to a high enough price, and then sell these tokens in large quantities, which is why prices always drop after distribution.

Yes, bear market can be the cause here as well. People just don't put their money into something that easily anymore.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Story time - your ICO success stories and biggest fails on: November 19, 2018, 09:03:47 AM
The more the SEC cracks down on unregistered securities posing as ICOs, the more the atmosphere in $crypto will change. IMO, ICOs will not die, but they will definitely have to take a new form and STOs will play a big role.
I believe this is a good thing for the industry

I think it is great that SEC is doing it actually. It helps to better the reputations of ICO-s. And if we can get those scam ICO-s etc out of the way, or at least decrease the number of them, then it's a win for crypto!
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Q4 prediction for Bitcoin? Time to buy now? on: November 15, 2018, 03:27:09 PM
Yeah, like after the 2013 crash.. it took years to recover. Hope this isn't the case this time though  Sad

Really hope so. Just bought some Bitcoins, hoping it will recover in couple of weeks.

Made me wonder, what are your ICO success stories and your failures? What has been your most successful investment, where have you lost the most etc?
Want to hear some tales.
My best ICO story is free airdrop from some random coin. Look, I don't even remember that I registered to that particular airdrop. At that time I was just randomly signed up to any airdrop that I found. Why? Because back in the days in doesn't take much time or effort to participate in an ICO. Just a google form, no KYC, no social media task, nothing. And then suddenly, when I take a look at my ETH address, I found a token worth more than $1000. LOL can't be happier than that. I immediately sold the token and convert it to BTC.

This must be the airdrop of Ontology. I can remember this one; only had to sign up for the newsletter and the airdrop was evetually worth thousands of dollars. Oh how I miss the bullmarket.

Oh, really? where was I then?  Grin
