Title says it all. If you're looking to invest in an ICO or pre-ICO blockchain project, what's 1-2 attributes that are most important to you? Market size/potential? Management team? Technology that is distinctive? Strong white paper? Social media following? Other...
Aaaaaaaand go!
Dont forget to checkout these one's : 1. Marketing and advertisement plan 2. Funds available for the first one 3. Telegram activity and regular updates from the admin 4. Buzz in the forum itself.
All above point are part of how much popular the specific ICO is and thus depending upon that it can really help you understand the success rate of the same. Its simple logic from here onward that if its more popular then it does have some success rate. You can choose that one promptly over others.
Marketing is a good one! I'd lump 3/4 under "social media following", but the point about admin activity is good.

Are you guys the ones with the facebook ads recently. Maybe that's too generic a question haha, but I saw this concept being advertised on fb. Couple questions: 1) Can the platform support DEXs? 2) Are trades executed within the application itself? 3) As there a prototype yet? 4) How do exchanges partner with you?

They're not the same asset types at all and shouldn't really be compared from a simple speculation perspective. Bitcoin has currency utility, equities can provide ownership of recurring cash flows, and real estate can be used from various other types of utility. So "which is better" isn't really the right question to be asking imho.

Businesses and projects are forward thinking. BTC may be down now compared to the high but YoY it's way up still. Employers have to plan for what's coming, not what is.

It'll absolutely come to an end. Today's system let's you hold your currency (in paper form) or deposit it and use electronic purchasing methods. With cryptocurrency, you can hold the assets on a hardware wallet and control the private keys, which is the same as holding cash, but as the tech develops, you'll also be able to link it for quick point of sale and online purchases/transfers. In this way, digital crypto achieves the uses of cash and electronic deposited money in a single form. It's also more secure, with the ability to backup lost/stolen wallets. Can't backup a lost bag of USD.

In the long run, middlemen (banks for example) who utilize DLT will be able to cut cost and improve efficiencies in numerous operational areas, but in the end they are still intermediaries and that's their death nell. Brick and mortar retailer have utilized the internet for years to boost revenue and cut cost, but the higher application of the internet is its use to remove the need for brick and mortar retailers in the market (in many cases, not all), who are themselves an intermediary.
We're ~25 years into the internet revolution and traditional retailers are just now getting rekt by the "amazon effect". DLT will be similar for other intermediaries, particularly financial. While they can take advantage of DLT, public blockchain solutions will eventually begin to squeeze the financial intermediaries out. This will take a long time, but the tech allows it, makes markets more efficient, and therefore the market will embrace it. It just needs time to mature.

Shift is an awesome project. The progress the Shift team is making is amazing, especially compared to Substratum. I'm excited to see what the shift team delivers later this year.

I think it's possible that it will move the needle a little, but the steepness of the bear market we've been in won't just spring back instantly. I think it'll take some time to settle and consolidate before building up momentum to move forward, but regardless, the longer term view is clearer in that the trajectory of blockchain tech is in hyper growth mode and we've barely scratched the surface of what's possible. For this reason, long term buy/hold is a strong strategy.

I am looking for some very unique blockchain/crypto related project that is in a early stage and wants funding.I have a budget in 5 figures and would like to get partnership in proportion to my investment. I can choose 5 different projects to invest in or 1 single project to invest all. Scammers stay away as I will be doing thorough research and documentaion before investing.
hi, in case you're still looking for one these days, you might want to check out MyShield. It's an antiscam platform that is blockchain based. first ICO of this kind of technology Would be pretty cool if anti-scam platform got off the ground.
