Collapse definition: Market Cap less than 150 Billion

Yes or No

I say YES

I didn’t want to say yes but there is not much light in the tunnel.

If you say YES then how come it is not happening? Do you think that business minded person would actually want this system to end? They are just making some market price adjustment and in my humble opinion it is also a way for a day traders to get too much money from day trading. As we all know that market price for crypto could not go ahead along because of these day traders.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Day traders OUT! IN pure crypto holders. on: August 11, 2018, 01:27:45 PM
Now that market seems always falling down these will prevent day traders to day trade crypto which relatively most of the money from the investors will going to end up day trading with some of the individuals who were always looking after at the graph of crypto market price movement. Now I think they should better be gone. Without these day traders market price could go a good increase all the way. I hope they will not come back.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Government Exchanges on: August 11, 2018, 06:52:12 AM
If the government still doesn't know how to put down all cryptocurrencies(or maybe they're still figuring how to tax users), why wouldn't they create an exchange and get some profit from it?

We know how B.S some exchanges are, they needed KYC but in the end, you won't be able to withdraw your funds.

Instead of spreading FUD, I hope government from all over the world knows that running an exchange can add funds for their country, and their pockets! Grin

I know it will be making cryptos centralized but look at those exchanges asking for our pretty faces and names just for their KYC/AML purposes.
Well it will not happen because the government is smart and will not held an exchanges because they do not want to be held liable for any loss but instead the government will going to license a local exchange wherein they could control and implement taxation on every crypto you will going to purchase.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 10, 2018, 07:47:12 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
yeah there are many altcoins in the market that is worth buying and you can start checking those coins in the coinmarketcap.com wherein you can check the demand of that crypto using its marketcap volume. The more volume that crypto had meaning it has a high demand and those are the altcoins worth buying for.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone is free to use Bitcoin as they want on: August 10, 2018, 06:20:07 AM
There's an ongoing debate in and outside of Bitcoin community regarding the economic nature of Bitcoin: is it a currency or an asset, a store of value, settlement layer and so on. The situation with ETF's also sparked some debates, as some argue that ETF's are bad and Bitcoin should stick to its cypherpunk roots and ignore the mainstream.

I think all sides kinda miss the point of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created so people can send coins directly to others, without any mandatory middleman. Therefore, every use case is as legit as any other use case, it doesn't violate the freedom of any other user of the network. It doesn't even matter if Satoshi wanted Bitcoin to be a decentralized currency that will kill banks, because one of the principles of Bitcoin is censorship resistance, so if some people want to use centralized services, want regulated environments, speculation and so on, it's their right. All those things have no effect on people who want to use Bitcoin as an alternative currency.

So, I think there is no single answer to whether Bitcoin is an asset or a currency, everyone decides for themselves, because freedom is the ultimate point of Bitcoin.
yes and we are free also to hold it and should not use it instead. There are many reasons why we need to have bitcoin and as we all know that bitcoin could also be used as a medium of exchange for those establishment that will accept BTC or invest into an ICO project or exchange to altcoins which coin is use for the utilization of their product, goods and services that might be essential on  your daily life living. And yes we have to spend it wisely in accordance with our needs and not just that we must spend btc or the crypto we are holding.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: August 09, 2018, 07:54:43 AM

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

Yeah you the option to hold or invest it with another altcoin that you think it has a good potentials to go higher especially if that token is being listed on one of the good exchanges for crypto. As we all know that exchanges will matter in terms of raising for the crypto demand and binance is one of the good exchanges for crypto.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost is too high on: August 09, 2018, 05:57:39 AM
What is happening?
will it change after adjustment since the transaction cost is being affected by the crazy price rise
This really happen when bitcoin market price goes high so the percentage of transaction fee will remain but as the market price for bitcoin goes high then so does the transaction fee for it. This is an SOP or standard operating procedure for the transaction fee of every bitcoin transaction fee.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will change, like PayPal did? on: August 09, 2018, 03:57:47 AM
                                                          --==<  http://prntscr.com/kfd3d4 >==--

You know, when companies start out, they make these FREE forever promises and then they grow into multinational

companies with profit driven goals and all of this amounts to lies. Satoshi promised us "cheaper" transactions... Are we still

trying to honour that promise or will we turn into another PayPal?

Just reminder that we are supposed to be different than our competitors. Right?
Well maybe both that we could be use or turn into another Paypal but it could be cheaper than paypal. Anyway wether cheaper transactions to be happen or not the important thing is that cryptocurrency or the bitcoin should be incorporated with other system and get an optimal use of cryptocurrency make it as way for advancement to a certain technology or a project being incorporated.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: August 08, 2018, 06:19:20 AM
Guys, how do you think, is a ready-made product important for ICO project?

In my opinion, it is, because it can show investors that the team is ready to bring huge results and has future plans.

As an example - KickCity, event platform where each user is rewarded for event promotion. You can try it today. More information you can find here  https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/kickcity-public-beta-5aa66fafc5c7
Yes it is very important to create a product that which is very essential for usage so as to create a high demand for the crypto or token utilization for that product. As we all know that as demand for that crypto goes high so does its market price and this is where investors whom invested on that project will going to earn.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: August 08, 2018, 05:37:35 AM
Math > Emotion = Profit  Wink
This is a better explaination on bitcoin market price movement and the emotions that could affect how market price moves. As we all know that as of this moment after checking the crypto market price relatively look so bad since there is a major percentage drop for most of the crypto in the market. Somehow I could sometimes agree that to move on and ignore but I had seen also the possibilities that one day bitcoin will going to recover so I am going to hang out some time in this forum.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First bounty Experience till 10000$ on: August 07, 2018, 04:17:17 AM
This is for the moral to newbies and ongoing bounty hunters

I can remember my first bounty experience , it was November and December periods on  2017. I started with Etherieum Blue bounty. Now its re-branded as Blue
I done Face book , Twitter , Telegram and Signature bounty too. but at that time i had newbie and junior member rank.

i think i done  2 or 3 weeks those bounties , finally i got the stakes , i was amazed it was around 2600$. Most from Sign bounty, i was really shocked and  amazed. then I have Done INS and Credits etc. special thing is that the period is bull run

Nearly i have earned  10000$ plus from bounties. so Do not Give and Quit.  Rank is not a problem is  this  forum , Do your  best in bounty.

now Bleeding period , now the time to start bounty because bull run may  come  in few months then your stakes value  is skyrocket.

Good luck
  guys
Maybe you are right but it seems that there are many bounty hunters nowadays and it is so hard to get a good reward because it will be split among the number of bounty hunters. Well good luck on us to find a good reward project and also for our small scale investment on cryptocurrencies.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto falls to lowest price since February – Why is BTC falling? on: August 06, 2018, 09:14:08 AM
BITCOIN has suffered its worst day since February as the price tumbled, prompting fresh fears about the long-term viability of cryptocurrencies. So why is BTC falling?

In December, the crypto reached a record high of $19,511 (£14,588), the culmination of the hype over the alternatives to traditional currencies. Today, the price of BTC dropped as low as $6,498 (£4,858).
This brings the downward slide for the year to more than 50 percent already.

Why is BTC falling?

Experts are citing various reasons for the massive drop in BTC’s value this year.
There are the issues of regulatory concerns, dwindling transactions, sky-high power consumption, and criticism from the world's established financial industry. However, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have seen a sharp drop since South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Coinrail was hacked over the weekend. Coinrail, which is thought to have lost around £28m in the cyber attack, tweeted to confirm the hack on Sunday.

Shortly after, bitcoin saw its value tumbling by 10%. This latest attack highlights the lack of cybersecurity and weak global regulations of crypto markets. Coinrail said in a statement that its system was hit by “cyber intrusion” on Sunday, causing a loss for about 30 percent of the coins traded on the exchange.

The statement added: “Seventy percent of total coin and token reserves have been confirmed to be safely stored and moved to a cold wallet [not connected to the internet]."

“Two-thirds of stolen cryptocurrencies were withdrawn or frozen in partnership with related exchanges and coin companies," the statement continues.

“For the rest, we are looking into it with an investigative agency, related exchanges and coin developers.”

Korean police have begun an investigation into the incident. Bitcoin has been further hurt by damning reviews from industry leaders.

Bill Gates, Berkshire Hathaway's Warren Buffett and JP Morgan chief executive Jamie Dimon, expressed their scepticism of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies again last week.

Warren Buffet has called BTC “probably rat poison squared.”

A few big names, such as  Twitter's Jack Dorsey and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, have thrown their weight behind crypto, but supporters from the finance world are a rarity right now.

In May, the crypto sector found itself under increasing government scrutiny when the US Justice Department opened a criminal probe into illegal trading practices that can manipulate the price of Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Just wait and relax there could be another time for it to regain and show how truly bitcoin is and what it could offer to its investors. One should be patient and see how bitcoin will grown in the next few years of its existence or in the next few months of it. Since history may happen again and it could break another record for highest market price.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trade at the end of 2018 . on: August 05, 2018, 03:19:39 PM
Yeah i thought of this also but much better if we should not let that one to happen because it might be a different story for bitcoin since many are already trying to see that this could happen again. ANyway, if i were them they should not think this way as it will also create the idea of those late comers because of the post and they will do as what other members do on this forum.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: how many coke cans you can buy with one dollar in your country? on: August 05, 2018, 02:47:20 PM
how many coke cans you can buy with one dollar in your country?
I want to know the buying power for the dollar in different countries.

In Egypt, one can buy 3 cans (350ml) of coke for one dollar approximately
Meaning to say that egypt is one rich country wherein they could buy more on lesser price of the products. Here in the Philippines a dollar could buy a 1 can of coke. Sugary products here are too expensive because of the TRAIN law being passed by the office of the President wherein those products considered as unhealthy for life should pay big taxes so that people will going to avoid unhealthy products like sugary products like soft drinks.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one do you prefer?Increase your Bitcoin or ِDollar? on: August 05, 2018, 10:28:08 AM
In Trading, there are two categories of people, those who want to increase their bitcoin volume, and those who want to increase their dollar volume. Which one do you prefer? Why?
Increase my dollar of course though bitcoin is good medium to increase dollars and as we all know that we use bitcoin to increase our dollars. The common terms for the people on joining cryptocurrency is to increase their dollar in terms of profit the same way they are using bitcoin to achieve it. So basically people had common and the option is to increase either fiat money specifically the dollar or to increase their bitcoin.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: for 3000$ whats your choice on: August 04, 2018, 02:08:40 PM
I have 3000$ , whats your opinions to invest ?

my option is wait for august end and invest on ziliqa
Yeah Ziliqa is one of the best crypto in the market however there are still more good crypto to start with like cardano, monero, stellar, eos, litecoin, ripple and of course ethereum and bitcoin. I know that there are many options to start with but if you have decided already and made up your mind seeing you will have that ziliqa is really good.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 03, 2018, 02:03:55 PM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
Bitcoin is an easy way to earn a lot of money and that too in a short period of time.Everyone wants to get rich and bitcoin is a blessing for all of us.Many people face financial crisis and so people find ways to earn money. So people are trying their luck in bitcoin and are also getting lucky.People must try bitcoin. One should buy bitcoins and hold them for future purposes as the prices will rise definitely in the future.People say that bitcoin is a waste of time but it is the fastest way to earn.
No way there is no fast and easy money in bitcoin it could even lose you some of your money depending  on the amount and the market price of bitcoin you have brought. As we all know that many wants to get rich immediately but no one claims that they are getting richer with bitcoin so as to get the new comers and idea let us not give them false hope.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 03, 2018, 09:12:11 AM
No fiat is still the best currency in the world most of the crypto just need fiat in order for an individual to earn exchanging crypto to fiat. But if that crypto has no fiat exchange that is good for nothing crypto. As we all know that all crypto represented with fiat are good but to those crypto that are not then better not utilize of use that one.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: August 03, 2018, 07:03:38 AM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
Yes it could affect our health indirectly like having some stress when market price for bitcoin falls down. As we all know that it is all about money that we invested on it and instead of getting a good market price for it even the loss of our money. I have a small scale investment and until now i do not know what will happen for the current fall down for bitcoin.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins BETTER than BITCOIN? on: August 02, 2018, 02:38:10 PM
Is it possible to happen? Altcoins crushing bitcoin in terms of price, trading, etc.? I am just curious about all of your thoughts, so don't hesitate to reply and get yourself justified Smiley

This is for all of us to gain knowledge between ALTCOINS and BITCOIN.
It is almost impossible to happen that altcoins will do better than bitcoin. As we all know that altcoins is a short cut term for alternative coin referring to bitcoin. Bitcoin is the number crypto in the market and that is why if we will going to compare bitcoin market price nowadays with those altcoin indvidual market price then relatively you can compare a huge difference on its market price and even in marketcap volume.
