61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO]🔥 E3T Connecting Global Entrepreneurs 🔥 on: November 05, 2019, 05:43:25 PM
I'm also sure of that. E3T has listed them in one of the good exchangers, but the price is quite far from the IEO price. I'm pretty sure that dcoin is just one step before this token list on other popular exchanges. the addition of market and volume is likely to make prices stable again. Let's see the development of this project
This is what I think too, while new exchanges would be a good move in the right direction, I commend the team for the 10% bonus distribution, it would encourage more investors to hold the tokens.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: November 05, 2019, 05:33:09 PM
Yes I still do, sometimes even people who are already using bitcoin gets into the argument about whether it would stand the test of time and I also engage in the argument, I love convincing people about Bitcoin, I like letting them know that it is the next step in the evolution of money and I have to admit that I do it for selfish reasons as well because I hope to one then tell them "I told you so... Atleast to those that refused to be convinced.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XinFin (XDCe) guilty of wash trading on: November 05, 2019, 05:20:32 PM
If the authenticity of projects are judged by the fact that they are wash trading, then I think almost all major Cryptocurrency would be tagged a scam, as much as that shouldn't be the case, it is becoming more and more acceptable these days, the fact is that if most project stop wash trading, there would be little or no volume left for them.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: November 03, 2019, 10:08:31 PM
That question is funny, when you compare cryptocurrency with what it is now to what it was 10 years ago, it's like comparing motion pictures with what it is now to what it was 10 years ago. 10 years ago, Bitcoin was at it's earliest stage with just a basic infrastructure and a whitepaper with little to no username but presently, there are millions of users who hold this amazing digital currency. Worldwide adoption is a gradual process but more and more publicly recognised companies are getting into the space, that's progress.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: November 03, 2019, 10:04:03 PM
When you mentioned China, I am inclined to listen but when you mention India and Indonesia, I think those ones are a pure example of Quantity and not Quality, but Asia is definitely one of the giants in the Cryptocurrency space and two major players are China and South Korea.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between altcoin and bitcoin ?? on: November 02, 2019, 09:25:15 AM
Bitcoin is the very first cryptocurrency in existence while Atlcoins simply means Alternative coins, it is the other Cryptocurrencies that came after Bitcoin and there are thousands of Altcoins in existence presently with many more if them being launched almost on a daily basis.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO]🔥 E3T Connecting Global Entrepreneurs 🔥 on: November 02, 2019, 09:00:59 AM
Going through the E3T announcement thread, I can say that I am quite impressed by the project and the speed in which the team seem to be churning out one update after another even after the IEO has ended, this shows uniqueness on the part of the team and I am happy to be a part of history making.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: November 01, 2019, 08:47:28 AM
There are numerous ways to be scammed and it is not limited to just HYIP and scam websites, some scams are so deep and elaborate that even professionals still fall for it, major companies worldwide has been victims sometimes, sometimes it's just a matter is a simple hack so you shouldn't blame people for mistakes, nobody is above mistakes.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DEX's ever get the liquidity and volume of Centralized Exchanges today? on: November 01, 2019, 08:45:14 AM
I don't think the liquidity in decentralised exchange would ever surpass that if centralised exchanges, it's a sad fact that even new centralised exchanges would just sprout up overnight and the volume would exceed that of an old decentralised exchange in no time, people feel better trading in a centralised exchange although this shouldn't be the case at all cost nsidering the fact that the commodity being traded is a decentralised currency.

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: October 06, 2019, 12:14:38 PM
Stable coins will hold your value when you have not chosen an investment decision in short times. But it will not be suitable for hold in the long time. Because it only has the ability to keep the value or lose value.

The use of stable coins cannot be over emphasised for me as a trader. I don't hold for long because there's really no profit or loss to be recorded from holding. Even if there's, its quite negligible for me. What I do is trade stable coins against altcoins to cushion market volatility. For example, if I place an order in btc or eth pair with 600 usd worth of coin, if there's a dip, before my order fills, I might come back to meet 300usd worth of eth/btc which is not acceptable by me
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 05, 2019, 11:04:42 PM
its not that bitcoin can't survive alone
bitcoin can do...
people are the ones who wont survive without altcoins...
for many reasons

You are right. There are different types of money and with/without  proper regulation by centralized bodies, bitcoin can be classified as digital form of money. If this happens, bitcoin can quite survive alone as other financial assets. Buy like you said the people need altcoins for those varieties it offers in trade for profits
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to detect desperate Developers and scammers on: October 05, 2019, 10:35:00 PM
I am grateful for your tips! nd i noticed that indeed, those risk free statements seems no more than absurd. I wonder how they get rid of risks.

You cannot totally eliminate risks as its always present in every financial investment endeavour. But what we can do it to formulate avenues to mitigate risks. And the best way to begin is by getting informed and thankfully, the OP has helped us in that regard. Finally, always be prepared for that element of surprise because a dev or project may not show those signs in the beginning but might still end up as a scam. Eg; Sparkster
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: October 05, 2019, 08:22:48 PM
The competition between altcoins will make the crypto world more lively and diverse, altcon has a lot but does not have a common future, some coins disappear and some continue to grow. The arrival of a new currency will change the old one, it might be better because it has to compete to survive. I hope in the future many altcoins will be born and thrive, the market will be more lively and a positive point for the cryptocurrency world.

There are advantages and disadvantages of having numerous altcoins in the market. I am a believer of a better regulated altcoin market. This will instill true healthy competition bred on technology and innovation. This is the future I see about altcoins where the surviving altcoins will offer real quality and better the universe through blockchain
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: October 05, 2019, 08:12:52 PM
Hello crypto lovers,

I have written this article on 5 ways to earn crypto without investing or mining, I think this is very important as it is the best way to introduce new people into the cryptocurrency. The article link it below. Please feel free to share it with anyone who is looking for ways to earn crypto.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/5-ways-earn-crypto-without-investing-or-mining-xozwx?a=GELe3POa69

Do you know any other ways outside of the article? I am always looking for more ways to earn crypto to educate people. Also I would recommend that you look at the blogging platform the article is written on, it's one of the ways you can earn crypto for free.

You create content for people to read, similar to Steemit. There are two ways you earn crypto.

1 - Creating content - Users tip your article, you receive those tips.

2 - Tipping articles - When you want to tip an article, you choose how much of the tip you give to the article and how much you keep. You have to tip at least 20%. You get a certain amount of daily tips.

When you tip it rotates currently between HYDRO, Bounty0x and DAI. In the future, they will be adding BAT to the tokens you will own, i don't know if it will be added to the rotation, or they will tip more in BAT.

I really like the platform, and i would recommend it to anyone who likes to read / create crypto content or who wants to earn some established tokens. Remember that all these tokens are listed on exchanges and CoinMarketCap, so they all have a value, you don't need to worry about the bounty paying out or the token being of a value.

You can sign up through the link in the thread, and its free and easy. Hope to see you guys there!

P.S. If you like the article and sign up, give a tip for appreciation  Smiley

One certain way to earn in cryptocurrency without investing is via content creation. If you have go technical know how and really exceptional, projects will hire you and pay as much as 100 - 200 us dollars for 500 - 750 words article. I know an individual by name Hatu, who's a blockchain writer and now a demi god on steemit. When you read his articles, you will be convinced he's worth every penny
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular on: October 03, 2019, 11:59:22 PM
We're talking about jobs, livelihood and fulfilled dreams What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular
in my case, it changes my life I made a job out of Cryptocurrency by just giving my opinion and doing stuff from other people, so how about you.

I agree that cryptocurrency has been a major source of livelihood to people accross the world. Especially Asia, Africa and some parts of Europe and America. Freelancers and content creators can earn a decent amount of money from it especially through bounty hunting. I have friends that have married, bought cars and raised a family while bounty hunting. There's are indeed lots of positives to take from crypto
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptobridge Exchange good or SCAM? on: October 03, 2019, 11:56:09 PM
I am trading on Cryptobridge and I am very happy with that exchange. Besides the trading volume, because volume on cryptobridge cannot be compared with leading exchanges, but in general it is a good exchange and definitely not a scam.

Yeah! Cryptobridge is a decent decentralized exchanges with decent volume built by the team which owns Bitshares led by Dan Larimer. One of the high points of the decentralized exchange is its cross chain functionality and easy to use interface. It's is not a scam in my opinion
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Important Is It To Create An Announcement Thread For New Startup? on: October 02, 2019, 05:44:44 PM
I think doing marketing is the most important, so creating an ANN thread and updating it with updates & news is crucial. As you update, it will stay on the first page and it will take attention of people. If you have some nice developments, parnetships etc, they should be included to make is more visible. Bitcointalk is a great place to let people know about your project.

You have a point but you know creating the ANN Thread is also a form of marketing. The bitcointalk.org platform is one of the oldest and populous platform in cryptocurrency and thus will be doing you a huge favor to have your announcement channels here before expanding to other marketing outlets on social media (Telegram, twitter, facebook and Reddit)
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser extensions can steal bitcoin on: October 02, 2019, 04:34:59 PM
People that are interested in cryptocurrencies now finally understand how dangerous internet could be.
Every program installed on computer could be potentially infected by malware. Informations about your computer activities could be abused, be aware!

You are right. The internet is the biggest tool hackers can use against an individual and the fact that a majority of people who trade cryptos don't know this is alarming. Just a little malware and your computer will start singing like a canary bird to the hacker. We need to shift more focus on cryptocurrency education like the years before 2018
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use crypto? on: October 02, 2019, 04:21:45 PM
Crypto has been around for over a decade at this point. The secure digital currency has many perks, but it seems that it is still not being utilized to its fullest potential.

Some purchase crypto for long term investment, while others have become daily traders. Both of these methods are uses for the digital currency, but they are not the sole purpose.

Many cryptocurrencies have been developed to solve a problem. For instance, Bitcoin solved the double-spending problem, while Ethereum was created to assists developers build blockchain applications.

Both of these examples would be considered the prime use case of the currency, but it seems that many are only interested in the gain rather than the use.

It is difficult to predict if the true value of blockchain technology will be relevant in the future and expand beyond trading.

What are your thoughts, and how do you use crypto?

The only way I have used cryptocurrency at the moment is by paying for SEO services online at Seoclerk.com through Coinbase as a recipient third party (I pay with eth, btc, ltc and bch) and secondly by buying electronic gadgets on the Multiven Open Market(MOM) where I recently purchased a Ledger Nano and Durata Dual IPhone Charger. You can check it out the dapp at Multiven.io
