Because of your continued generosity I am now mining and promoting dimecoin.

-removed. Dimecoin is a serious coin-
I saw the meme, got the joke and lol'd. (couldn't reply at the time as I have 360s newbie post timer) I'm sad you removed it to be honest. Thank you. You have successfully pointed me in the right direction; I now have one ubuntu box happily mining away and am about to setup another. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi... how does one mine dimecoin?
I've tried pooler's CPUMiner as per one of the dimepool's instructions, however it does not accept the parameter -a quark
Preferably I would like to mine dimecoin on a linux machine, but also windows at time.
can you please help? are there any instructions?

Thank you soo much; I truly meant what I said in my post and you good-person are one of the gems that make a difference in the crypto-community.
I really appreciate you and your generosity.
Kudos to you. May good things come your way!

Happy new year to the entire crypto community!
May 2014 be prosperous!
I would also like to say a big thank you to all those who are generous with their cryptocoins and give to others; you really make the difference in the crypto-community and you help out people with old hardware (like myself) actually get some coins to play with; I for one appreciate you greatly.
My favourite coin of 2013 would have to have been the Dogecoin as its community has been the warmest by far.
I look forward to see what 2014 has is store for us all.

well, another waste of time and money for me.
I've been mining since the launch trying a variety of the different pools, even solo. Leased a server at my own expense to assist with the mining.
Total mined Mona = 0
The pools are a sham. thousands of accepted shares yet not a single mona.
I am raging hard - that's two launches today that have proved absolutely fruitless for me.
The next alt coin may as well be named: Fxck_Lonely_MountainCoin.
