TWITTER CAMPAIGN UPDATE

The issue with the Twitter Tracker should now be resolved. Please see the link below and click the tab "Stakes" also coloured green.

Twitter Campaign Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Sf-hKVbWRLJgFXTsykgew7Vhv2t-1tutnXn738gN0Fc/edit#gid=122329866

Please let me know if you have any issues or if there is anything wrong with your information. Some people are missing their ETH addresses, for those people, please PM me your ETH address along with your column number in the spreadsheet so I can add them in for you.

Once again, thank you for your support and patience. We apologise for the delay.

~ Jake Ashby, General Manager TriForce Tokens

I registered on December 3rd. In the table, I'm empty! Done 88 retweets and likes. The number on the registration sheet is 1161, the number on the sheet is stakes 1058. I will not participate if you can not keep records. Therefore, you have vainly abandoned the services of the manager of the bounty.

I am sorry you feel that way. But if you would take sometime to read through previous posts on this thread, you will see that we have been having issues with our twitter tracking since the handover. Yes we understand that this is an issue and is frustrating for many people, but please understand that we are trying to build a company here and therefore have lots of other things on our plates. As we have stated previously your stakes will not be lost. If for some reason, it is not registering your likes or rewards and you can see yourself on the stakes page of the spreadsheet, please can you provide evidence of your likes and retweets so we can distribute your stakes and further investigate to why this has occurred.

Likewise, if you would like to leave the campaign that is also fine.

Thank you for your support.

~ Jake Ashby, General Manager TriForce Tokens

Well, I'm leaving this bounty twitter. You can remove it from the table. Thank you.

Hi viljy,

I want to make sure you receive your correct stake allocation. The challenge has been that some usernames were not formatted correctly for systems to verify against twitter API.

I can confirm your stakes have been added now and I apologise for the issues during the transition period.

Please wait to see them reflected in the next stake update.

I mean no disrespect, but by now there are a hundred gaming related coins and tokens. Some of which have already partnered up with major industry players. What is different about TriForce and how will TriForce tokens survive among the competing gaming tokens?

Hi Zendalet,

....

Thanks for your response.

I'm unfortunately not that much wiser.

I understand your first point. That the market is big enough for multiple gaming related coins and tokens.

Your second point is... vague. For instance, finding a solution to game piracy, and counterfeit in a broader scope, is one of humanity's biggest puzzles. Please forgive my skepticism about a blockchain startup claiming to provide that which countless DRM companies could not.

It's as you say, I should dig into your white paper, as well as the white papers of other gaming coins and tokens, to get a real answer. Not exactly an elevator pitch then.

But I appreciate the gesture. Smiley

It's ok. At least we have clarified the first issue you had. For the second, you admit you haven't dug deep into other gaming projects, nor ours. What I would say then is, consider Vadim Bulatov who is a head at Wargaming.net (100m+ gamers worldwide). He came across us and immediately understood what challenges we are working to solve (he then joined as an adviser). He is someone that works in this industry and recognised something in us, particularly around the social aspects and fostering positive communities within gaming.

From the conversations and research we have conducted with gamers, developers and industry professionals - we have a unique proposition and a demand (two companies even reached to us to declare their support and interest). Our focus is to now deliver this technology and build the community that will support us in this endeavour, which is going very well.

Hi Zendalet,

It's ok, it's a fair question to raise Cheesy. Also please don't take our response as a challenge either, we just have to clarify a few points.

So there are two main areas we have to look at to answer this question. The first is, is the games industry market saturated with cryptocurrency solutions? The second is, how diverse is the games industry and how does our particular project fit into this diversification. Or in short, how is our project unique?

We have to consider that the games industry is huge. Think about how many cryptocurrency users exist, how many exchanges there are - and our crypto industry is nothing compared to the number of people playing games and revenues generated through businesses in the games industry. Just to highlight the difference in the crypto industry to the games industry - a recent benchmark study by Cambridge University suggests that there are around 5.8 million active users in crypto exchanges and up to 11.5 million active wallets.

Compare that to the games industry there is reported to be a staggering 1.2 billion people playing games globally. That means something like 1 out of every 6/7 person on the planet is a game player. Consider as well the revenues generated in this industry well exceed $106Bn and grows on average by 6.5% annually. It's just simply a massive industry with hundreds of niche areas to engage with.

Then to look at all the gaming crypto projects that are being launched - none are really in full production, none have dominated the market because it's just such a new innovative industry. You say that there are hundreds of gaming related crypto projects, but if there is really that many, how many are actually penetrating the market? We know of a small handful that are making real progress - but again they are not established. We're not saying that other crypto projects in this space are bad (as you mention some have secured partnerships) - it's just early days for this industry with massive opportunities as we all know.

So specifically where do we fit into the games industry then and how 'different' are we?

Our project is focused on developing/fostering the interactive games communities - that exist in a multitude of formats. We are creating specific solutions that doesn't just throw a product or service at gamers and developers, it has been carefully structured and crafted to create stronger unity between them. For example, one particular aspect that we are developing is addressing the issue of gamers going in breach of EULAs for games. This is lost revenue for the developers and publishers, plus is not smooth sailing for gamers that actually wish to pursue these avenues. Our solutions actually work to benefit both gamers and developers in these situations - even going so far as to improve player retention. This is just the surface, to really get into the detail it would be best to go through our white paper https://triforcetokens.io/resources/white-paper-v3.3.pdf and pitch deck https://triforcetokens.io/resources/pitch-deck-v1.4.2.pdf.

We understand the challenges faced by both sides having been involved in some external game markets myself, I can tell you there is a massive opportunity to monetise these activities, something I have yet to see other projects address.

Then comes the actual structure and ethos of the project. This is a business and we are putting things in place now that will place us in a much stronger position for future mergers and partnerships, making us more adoptable and attractive to the bigger institutions. We are advocates of positive change and are working on big challenges such as piracy and protection of players - so our vision is much more comprehensive than simple digital assets as many other projects focus on.

Hopefully this gives a little more clarity on what sets us apart? Ultimately innovation comes from those that are prepared to push the boundaries and those that have the ability to respond positively to trends - something that I know our core team has plenty of.

Nobody plays alone: we’re powering gaming communities

TriForce Tokens is creating an environment in which communities of gamers can be rewarded for enjoying the gaming experience. By making value portable between games, we’re helping both the major players and indie developers to attract and keep players. And we’re giving gamers more reasons to engage with the games they love and the other people around the world who play them.

Regarding beta, you said it will start first on mobile phones. So that means you will  have apps for android/iphone and no web version?Atleast for the beginning of course.

We are creating a central intelligence hub, that game developers will integrate with plus our own applications. At the same time we are also building our own social games engagement platform for mobile, called RaidParty. This mobile application will be integrating with the intelligence hub, to afford it the benefits of using our blockchain solutions. Building a mobile app first in terms of engaging with gamers is actually the most effective route to engage with these types of users - it's part of our initial growth strategy. From there we will expand out to desktop based applications for gamers.

~ Pete Mardell, CEO TriForce Tokens

Seems like a very ambitious project.More im checking and reading this topic, more im sure you are very serious and commited to this.So you have main ingredient for success it seems!

One thing i noticed in few months since im following this project is that triforce team is not cutting any corners,or trying to do some half job to speed up project. This is serious and ambitious porject, and for that kind of stuff you need time.

Thank you Dirk and others for your support  Smiley There is a long journey ahead but it's a very exiting project and our dream is taking shape!

I know nothing really about programming, but somehow it seems easier for me to make web version so then all platforms can join.Or thing is more complicated than that?

Hi Calvireish,

It's a good point, however in terms of reaching the widest possible audience in the most efficient manor, based on our research starting from a mobile application first is the best strategy. It might be trickier in terms of development but we have the resources available to achieve this. We don't mind the extra complexity if it means advancing our project in the best way possible.

How do you know that gaming community needs your product? If you've got some target gaming community what is it then? What projects have you successfully released already for your target gaming community? Which well-followed bloggers of the online gaming community do you engage with?

Hi littooo,

You raise some good questions. To answer the first, we conducted market surveys several months ago before we announced our project, met up with developers, gamers including in game groups. In the survey 86% of developers said that they loved the idea of the solutions we would implement. I have also been a part of external gaming 'markets' so to speak where players are offering in-game services. There is a particular route that can be beneficial to both gamers and developers, without gamers being in breach of the developers/publishers EULA agreements. This is where our solutions fit in.

Our target audience is all defined in our white paper and pitch decks plus we have strong partners in this industry including Vadim Bulatov, our games industry adviser who is head of marketing at wargaming.net. We are still a young start-up project but already have impressive connections and growing our community of followers. As for going out through relevant gaming community publications, it would only make sense for us to do this once our technology is deployed in a production environment or in the lead up to it, which I hope you can appreciate. This forms part of our next four year growth strategy.

I hope I have given you enough clarification to your questions.

Most important thing is that 0.1 ETH as minimum will allow us who are new in crypto to join too, sithout spending too much. And TriForce will benefit in the end from that,as we can spread the word.

How much do we get for 0.1 ETH?

For 1 ETH we will get 7500 FORCE, that means for 0.1 ETH we will get 750 FORCE. but that will be first day.

Yes, that is mostly right. The discount won't be time based that's the only thing, so that discount could last for an hour, it could be a day. The discount levels are based upon available supply - the more supply available, the higher the discount level. This has been done as a way to control and defend against large sell offs at the end of the token sale once listed on exchanges.

So Star Wars fans as well?

Yes quite a big fan I guess - although not to the point of registering up to the Jedi religion Wink Although I still think the original films are the best, but they are making a nice attempt at these latest films. Of course a big star wars gamer too. Spent endless hours as a teenager playing jedi knights 2: jedi outcast.

Integration with Solitaire perhaps?  Grin

Grin I assume you are messing around here..

But just to clarify a point on this - we have to be careful on casting such a wide net. In business, sometimes it is more productive to focus on more niche areas - to capture that low hanging fruit. Of course, we have really big ambitions don't get me wrong. There is so much opportunity out there for our tech, even from one small part of what we are building.

I see on the roadmap that plan for april 2018 is to achieve ISO27001 certification. Can you please explain a bit more what does that mean, and how it will benefit this project?

We are currently working towards our ISO27001 certification yes. The definition is as follows:

ISO 27001 (formally known as ISO/IEC 27001:2005) is a specification for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation's information risk management processes.

Source: http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/ISO-27001

It basically ensures that we have the correct policies and procedures in place to protect our and our clients data and information. It helps us to understand the areas of weakness, so that be can better protect ourselves from attacks. The benefits are that we as a company will do regular checks to ensure that our technology is protected and that we have procedures in place, if an attack takes place. It gives peace of mind not only to use as a company that we are best prepared for attacks, but also for our clients and consumers to ensure that their data and information is secure.

Its is standard practice now for many IT related businesses.

~ Jake Ashby, General Manager TriForce Tokens

So thats basic and key thing really,to secure your clients data and information, really basis for any successful bussiness. If you cant offer that,ur other services doesnt mean much,so i can see the importance of that ISO certification.

Well, you would be really surprised how many technology companies don't get certified or even consider it. It provides a really robust framework, that can be difficult to achieve, and in fact would cost a lot more to implement if left for further down the road, than by implementing it early on. So a company who understands the value and importance of this, can implement it much easier early on - then as the company grows they already have a strategy and standard practice to follow. It opens the doors to a lot more partnership opportunities too with much larger organisations. Some will actually not be able to engage with a company that does not meet these standards.

So in short, there is much more to be gained from simply protecting peoples information, systems and data (although extremely important in Todays climate of IT attacks) - it paves the way for larger networking/business opportunities.

Btw we are going with a new currency ticker symbol (FORCE) instead of TFT - because we discovered some really old redundant coin was using this symbol on EtherDelta. We could have continued to use it however we made the decision to avoid any conflict down the road, plus our new symbol is much more fitting to our project.

Will there be chance to somehow integrate this system into old games,or it will be  impossible to do that?

I think TriForce will offer some developer kit,for inegrating games,so it will be all up to game developers,if they choose to do that.

Yeah. I'm actually waiting for the SDK to give it a try.

SDK?What is that?
