Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world?

Why do think so?
What changes crypto made?
As of now, I don't feel yet that crypto is changing the world, maybe in the future, it will replace fiat currencies.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: June 13, 2018, 02:19:15 AM
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

Holy molly, that is a big pile of cash that's been lost. If I were that guy, I've been crying until today, 103 BTC is just too much.

please, all the help will be appreciate because i want really learn all about crypto.

Because I am in decentralization but ripple is centralized so I don't support ripple. But if you want short-term then this is for you.

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t panic! on: June 11, 2018, 12:02:54 PM
Hello, why everyone is so afraid of crypto market falling again? I think this 1000$ bitcoin growth is the new beginning of rapid growth of all crypto market! Guys don’t be so depressive, stop panicking and selling just relax and bitcoin is going to reach 20000$ in summer! Cool
Yeah, other people, if they see the market is falling, they panic selling right away. Off course its normal in crypto world to go RED, not all the time its GREEN.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: June 11, 2018, 05:39:45 AM
Market is fluctuating today a lot . But I hope it will not continue. So I am applying HODL at this moment.
What is your policy at this current market volatility?
To those who wants to secure their positions without losing, HODL is the best strategy and it works for me. I just hodling since pre ICO and now I gained profits.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: June 11, 2018, 05:06:27 AM
Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.
Just hodl your coins until you gain big profits. Patience is the key, hodl your coins for a couple of years.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: June 11, 2018, 03:40:22 AM
Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?
Yes, it's profitable if you bought it pre ICO sale, and when the price increases, that's an easy profit right there. But make sure the ICO is legit and not scam.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or sell ? on: June 10, 2018, 04:12:02 PM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?
I'm just hodling since I bought it at low price, so I'm just hodling until the prices go up and to see big profit.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long Crypto currency will survive? on: June 10, 2018, 03:15:14 AM
How long is crypto will survive in this world ?

What could kill Crypto?
I think not, cryptocurrency will be the future currency and it will replace fiat currencies. Digital currencies will be mainstream in the future.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless so why high price? on: June 10, 2018, 01:18:31 AM
Bitcoin is very slow transaction and fee is rediculus then why people bother buying it or considering it. I have £130 of bitcoin and I want to move it and it is asking for £28 network fee. Why should people bother having it. I can't wait to get rid of it when the fee is low.
It's not useless, it's widely used digital currency. It's been used in transaction on payments online and other establishments uses it.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 09, 2018, 11:38:38 AM
I ever heard that people choose to quit their job for doing some crypto job. Whether it is trading, mining, or bounty. But I think that's the worst idea. Maybe they think that kind job like that can earn many profit but they doesn't looking at the risk and keep do it. Look at the market, they stay red and it will hard to get profit from investing or trading. GPU price is more expensive as well as a lot of capital to be spent when starting mining. Also Bounty Hunter has bad condition right now with too many SCAM ICO which caused some of them just wasted their time and doesn't earn anything.

How they can earn money for daily need if only depends on the crypto?
Why they even do that? They don't need to quit their jobs to get into crypto. They should have a main job so that they can have salaries to invest more at the same time, they earn in crypto.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: June 09, 2018, 09:53:34 AM
I was away from crypto for years and now I'm trying to get back into the game.  I was really STUNNED that there is no exchange, even after many years since bitcoin started, that we can just deposit USD and start exchanging altcoins.  I hope I'm wrong because this would be the single biggest hurdle for altcoins to be widely adopted by general public.  There are just too many hurdles to jump over just to START trading.
I'm a beginner in cryptocurrency and I used Binance exchange because it's my first exchange that I used when I bought a coin.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: June 09, 2018, 02:13:09 AM
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.
In the future, cryptocurrency will be popular and it will replace fiat currencies and the digital currencies will become mainstream.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2018, 03:50:23 PM
Hi, good day guys! Newbie here so I'm asking you to help me with my long term investment. Aside from bitcoin, where should I invest my money and Why?
Do a research and read their whitepaper and if you are convinced in their project, you should buy, and make sure it has great potential to grow big in a couple of years. And for me, I make sure the coin is in the top 100 in coinmarketcap.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant on: June 08, 2018, 12:50:36 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.
Yes, bitcoin will be dominating for a couple of years, or maybe forever, I don't know. As of right now, no coins can compete with bitcoin.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: June 07, 2018, 12:06:32 PM
Personally, I started to be interested in crypto currency because of its idea and technology, but now I'm more trying to make money with the help of it.
So, why are you interested in cryptocurrency?
I think it's the good topic for discussion!
I'm interested in crypto because when I invested on a certain coin, when I read their whitepaper and I'm interested on their tech and brought coins, then after a few months, I gained profit.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment. on: June 07, 2018, 06:43:16 AM
How do you feel about long-term investment? Do you see the priorities in this? What do you think is the reason for this? Where to invest in your opinion?
For me, I'd go for long-term investment in a project that has great potential to grow in a couple of years and willing to hodl a long time.

For me, I'm holding my coins, and buying some more in reds, because I trust my coins and it made me profits.

How do you feel about long-term investment? Do you see the priorities in this? What do you think is the reason for this? Where to invest in your opinion?
For me, I see no problem about long-term investment as long as you invested in a good potential coin to grow big in a couple of years.
