61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 31, 2021, 10:43:31 PM

It is your suggestion and you are entitled to it, but however in my own suggestion, I don't think I will have my long term investment in those two coins not to talk of using such amount of money on either of them. First, XRP suffered a lot under the SEC case which saw its price dropping and for a while now, there have been no much development unlike before and how the coins aims to grow amidst the competition in the market. Secondly, TRX, seems to be left out of some sort, the CEO keeps paying attention to other coins or thinking of how to create more, without channelling all his attention on TRX.
The thing is, both coins are good but I think there are others which are quite better such CAKE especially for long term because of its staking method.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: July 30, 2021, 07:01:48 AM
Hello guys
Is this really a good project to invest in Solana?Any price prediction in future?
Mainnet is coming in Q3.
Please suggest me...
Thanks

Solana is one of the coins which had considerable growth during the bull run and even now, the price is not that bad. I don't think anyone is good with predictions let alone predicting that of Solana but within Solana a lot of projects has been developed and I think Solana is also supporting good projects to launch on its blockchain but however I still think a lot need to be done if they want to be a good competitor to most projects on different chains such as needing a gas or fee to add a token on the Solana blockchain.
In a bid to add a little as to why Solana can still grow more is owing to the fact that there is very fast transaction speed and very cheap transaction charge. Also, the Solana team is out to support more projects which then will have the potential to draw more value to Solana blockchain.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: July 30, 2021, 06:54:10 AM
Hello everyone!

So with the hype around crypto that Elon Musk is creating and with the news about possibility of acquisition of any Tesla car with crypto, comes my question:
Would you buy a Tesla with BTC or ETH? Aren't we going to regret it? In future, will this turn to an event similar to "Bitcoin Pizza Day" where people will be sayin that someone spend a whole BTC or 10 ETH for a car Huh?

People use their money for things that interests them, things that makes them happy and/or even to solve issues, pay bill and so on, therefore whether the person use fiat for that Tesla or BTC, I still see it as the same thing. That is, let's say the person sold Bitcoin for fiat, of which the fiat is in his bank account, and one day he decides to buy a Tesla and the money in his account is sufficient enough to buy the Tesla, which he goes ahead to buy, isn't that the same thing.
Even if the person doesn't swap his Bitcoin for a Tesla, but do so to pay bills, isn't it the same thing? When Bitcoin rises to $100k for example, will he be angry he sold Bitcoin to fiat to solve problems? I don't think so.
Many people have meet challenges which caused them to sell coins they believe in, but that's what makes us human, there are things we can't control. It doesn't make sense having Bitcoin or other coins which can help you solve issues, but Instead you held on but went to borrow.
But on the other hand, if you are selling all your Bitcoin just to acquire a Tesla, then I think it doesn't make sense and can't do such.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for ICO 2021 on: July 29, 2021, 07:36:20 AM
The year 2021 has witness so many changes and introduction of new development in the cryptocurrency market such as NFT projects, that made me wanting to know if ICO projects are still available, I mean good ICO project that can give 2X profits just like what we hard back in the ICO era of 2017.

I will appreciate if I can see a list of excellent projects running they ICO at the moment you comments are highly welcome.

ICO as a sort of trend or as a sort of public fundraising method is no longer in use, it has been abandoned because of its high fraudulent nature. IEO took over, lasted for a while and now we have IDO which is the most recent one, and because of the trustworthy nature of IEO and IDO, makes them to be used more than ICO, I also think some projects are still carrying out IEO while many new projects carry out IDO.
Nevertheless, upcoming NFT projects seeking for public fundraising can carry out IDO, and considering the nature of the NFT project and the platform conducting the IDO, it can still give a reasonable profit.
You just need to find a good one and check it out, moreover as the trend is getting more interesting, new projects will soon start IDO or IEO as the case may be.
You can also get started by checking most platforms which helps conduct IDO for upcoming projects to see if there is any new NFT project that will be launching soon.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand on: July 29, 2021, 07:26:33 AM
Will the BTC price take longer to reach all time highs with time? 5 years ago 10k bought 3 BTC, now it buys .25. Does that mean that as price goes up, it will require more fiat to keep it pumping? When price is 200k, it will take a lot of money to influence price it seems. Even with mass adoption, it would require people to put it a ton of money to raise the price.

I clearly understand where you are coming from, and funny enough the price will keep increasing. Years ago it wasn't worth what it is worth today, and many people might have asked this questions you are asking now, question of it will become more costly, and few years from now, many will still question its high price, to me it shows that, irrespective of what most people might think of Bitcoin, Bitcoin has come to stay and will only keep getting more valuable.
Also, the simple reason why Bitcoin price will keep growing is not a matter of fiat, but a matter of more people holding and not selling, which drives a bit of scarcity thus leading to more buying, and price also drops when more people are selling.
Lastly, about All Time High, we can't really fathom when it will happen again, but if more confidence returns to the market which will see more people buying, then another All Time High will be realized.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: July 28, 2021, 07:58:12 AM
Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless

MZI swapped to MZG
NXPS swapped to PUNdiX

I hope others will learn from this

On a more sincere note, this issue of swapping is one of the reasons a lot of people find it hard holding most coins and tokens for long term, this is because a lot of people just want to buy and hold in personal wallets while they focus on other things so that they can hold long term, then after a long time you realise your tokens are now useless, it's really bad. Which is also the reason Bitcoin and Ethereum will continue being on the minds of people because everyone knows how reliable and trustworthy they are.
What happened to you, has happened to a lot of people while in some cases, users still had the opportunity to swap and in some, users are left with useless tokens. Hence my suggestion is, when holding some tokens, and you intend holding for long term, try to follow up on Twitter so as to get their notifications which you can easily read, I believe this will make it possible for the holder not to miss Important updates like token swap.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency is best for long term investment? on: July 28, 2021, 07:51:51 AM
1. Bitcoin (BTC) Bitcoin has been around for the longest of any cryptocurrency.
2. Ethereum (ETH) Ethereum is different from Bitcoin because it isn't only a cryptocurrency.
3. Binance Coin
4. Cardano
5. Polkadot (DOT)
6. Ripple (XRP)
7. Litecoin
8. Tron (TRX)
9. Polygon (MATIC)
10. WazirX (WRX)

To be frank you just listed a good number of coins here while properly arranging them in order of importance or long term sustainability with the most sustainable from top (Bitcoin). If your portfolio is made up of such coins then I don't know what else you want to hear, because I must say they are good coins; we already know that 1-7 are good for long term, while 8 (Tron) is good also but might not give holders the good gains they might be looking for, 9 (Polygon) is already making its blockchain to be better and good competitor to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network and lastly, 10 (WRX) is trying to break boundaries and retain a good platform for users.
So in all, they are good, but if I am to choose 5 out of the list, then Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Cardano and Polygon will be my picks.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: July 28, 2021, 07:40:37 AM
I believe there are many channels to follow up on crypto related news, some are on Telegram like CryptoWorldNews and many on twitter. The Important thing is to be mindful of some of the news or information you will get across to while some will be legit, others can be fud and all whatnot, so when you get sensitive information try to verify before you act on it, most especially from Twitter.
Also, most times, following top influencers or big players in the crypto space through twitter will give you the opportunity to get most legit news and information. Lastly, the news or information you are looking for will depend on what you want, that is, whether it is for general crypto news, a particular coin, upcoming projects or public sale news.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency has best future? on: July 27, 2021, 08:59:10 AM
Bitcoin has come to stay and is already changing the status quo, challenging what most people know about digital money and so on, and from all indications so far, it has proved its worth and potential to transform the future.
Just like every other investment, crypto investing also have its own risks which can be reduced when one research a coin, find a good one, invest and hold long term, and a perfect example is Bitcoin.
Also, talking about the cryptocurrency with the best future is of course Bitcoin, but about cryptocurrencies with good future, then you can go as far as naming a whole lot of them like ETH, ADA, DOT, XLM, BNB and the list continues. The first step is always to research, have a target and positive mindset towards the coin and then investing.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some BSC influencers you follow for price signals? on: July 27, 2021, 08:50:20 AM
Any twitter/tiktok/instagram influencers you follow to get insights or find knew tokens worth buying?

Not those with fake followers and retweets but legit sphere of influence.

And how can you know or tell if the Influencer is legit? As the name goes, influencers, the job is to influence you in any way they can in order to drive growth to the project or in other words, they shill projects as hard as they can, paint it good, call it a gem with their own reasons which then makes the project highly attractive thus most people following them are forced to buy, at the end or even before they start working, they already got paid, so even if it goes bad, it's none of their business.
So I will say, there is nothing like legit influencers but people who are seriously looking for ways to make money as well, let me ask, when the project later turns bad, how many comes out to apologize, even if they do what happens to the money invested?
Therefore, follow any Influencer you want to follow, but make sure you know the risks, don't get too greedy and know when to sell.
71  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: correct trading signals on: July 27, 2021, 08:42:27 AM
i am new in crypto world and i don't know how can i get right signals on right time . i joined some paid group but they gave me some good and some bad signals too. then i learned about indicators and i used some indicators but some time it didn't work for me. i want to know that where am i making mistake and what should i do to get a handsome profit.

You joined a paid group and got some good signals as well as bad signals too, that is sufficient enough to tell you that most of the times, signals doesn't work owing to the nature of this space, thus I will tell you to be careful of such paid signal groups so that it won't get to a time you will lose badly, and even if you insist on following them then make sure you do so with funds you can afford to lose.
Secondly, if you are not good with trading and to stop making mistakes, then make out time to learn trading, this will help you a lot, else you will keep making mistakes which will cause you losses.
Lastly, pay more attention on good coins through concrete research, then learn to hold long term, this will also help, which atimes is better than following signal groups.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 26, 2021, 11:41:39 AM
Over the past weeks the market was dipping everyday that if you bought the week before, you was already at lost by the next week. This frustrating market cause may Investors to stop buying and waiting for the buttom. I just opened my binance app and noticed market is recovering, and I just wanted them know what the community at large is doing but I'll see the individual response just to pass time while we wait for full market recovery.

what are the decisions you're making now, will you wait for this new market development not to be a trap before investing again or you'll risked it and buy more coins?

Currently the market is showing good signs of recovery with Bitcoin reaching a high price unlike previous weeks, thus bringing a kind of positive mindset in the crypto market with a lot of people saying the bull is back. But even at that, there are still a lot of people who are skeptical and thinking it is trap, while on the other hand, some people claims it is still bearish until Bitcoin reaches $45k.
Nevertheless, no matter what is happening, I have started monitoring the coins I want to stock up on while buying in very little quantity just to be on the safer side. In addition, since the market might point towards NFT tokens as we have seen for some days now, I have started studying the projects that are good and should the bull market return we might see massive growth in such tokens.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more green? on: July 26, 2021, 11:35:28 AM
Hello,
According to Elon Musk concern about the Bitcon energy consumption, which of TRON, EOS, Stellar Lumens, Nano, Chia, BitGreen and Cardano coins are good?

Thank you.

All those talks about Bitcoin energy, what are they saying about it today? Nothing, which shows all those words and posts were just to fud the market, I mean as an expert in technology he didn't knew about the Bitcoin energy all this while then one day, he remembers it, well it is part of the market nature.
For a long time now, I have always seen Stellar and Cardano as good coins, because the team are actually trying their best to make sure that users gets the best of services, if not they will be long forgotten, and in relation to your post both also consumes less energy even though I do not think energy consumption have a big role to play in the future of a coin. As for long term, those two coins are still good.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: July 26, 2021, 11:25:48 AM
CAKE is a very nice cryptocurrency with amazing use case, that is instead of storing it in your personal wallet doing nothing or waiting for a good price to sell, you can just stake and generate a good passive income from it daily, although this depends on your number of CAKE token. Also, I have seen a lot of copycats which claimed to be the next CAKE but yet they are no where today thus in my opinion, showing that CAKE is actually good for long term holding.
In the aspect of staking and the reward thereof, I hardly check those things like daily reward and so on, I just stake it and leave it there, but check time to time to when know the pool will end and move to another. Another good thing that comes with CAKE staking is that, the team tries their best to list good tokens, such that when you earn the tokens might be forced to hold.

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show me your biggest gains! on: July 25, 2021, 01:54:06 PM
The words "biggest gains" can come in different ways, to some $1k can be considered a biggest gain, to some $100k can be considered a biggest gain, to some $1m can be considered a biggest gain and it continues; that is to say, to different people biggest gains comes in different angles, therefore I will say gain is gain.
On the other hand, what about losses? Same thing applies to it, therefore the reason it is good to be encouraged and motivated by all these success stories and not to be depressed by it which happens to a lot of people.
Lastly, people invest based on how deep their pockets are, hence knowing your limit is very important as the crypto space is highly volatile. On biggest gains, many have made a lot, starting from those who believed in Bitcoin and held to those who also believed in Ethereum and held, so the list is endless.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we IN for 2021 Bull run on: July 25, 2021, 01:42:50 PM
I remembered 2020 how the market plummet to 700 to 500billion dollars during the pandemic and how May, june and july was so dry that many fears it was the end. suddenly, the market became alive in August and crypto made history. Btc Rose from 10,000 till over 60,000 within months. Are we in for another ride or just market movement in 2021?

The statement that the crypto space is unpredictable is always true, and based on that, no one can say for sure if we are in for another ride or not. Many experts has predicted many things but however none is yet to actualize, thus proving the fact again that no one can predict this space nor even answer your question.
But in an attempt to answer and in my own opinion, bearing in mind that crypto market moves a lot with trend, such as in the IEO and Defi trend, now we are talking about NFT and most NFT projects are already pumping, thus it is my observation that if all works well, we might be in for another ride.
Lastly, another fact is layer 2 technologies which is becoming more interesting, thus another believe of mine that we have a lot to experience this year in the crypto space which will also point to another good ride.
All these are just my own speculations because the crypto market have a mind of its own.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: July 25, 2021, 01:23:55 PM
One of the vital or rather Important lesson I learnt is to have a target and not to be too greedy. It is true one can't know the right time to exit a trade or sell a long term bag, but yet one need to have a target and stick to it to avoid regrets, nonetheless it is also important to know it doesn't apply to all coins.
So the thing is, know the coins you are holding and decide if they are going to be for long term or short term, this is true because not all coins can last long term, a good number are just okay for short term, so decide that and know when to sell.
Another lesson is to know that, there will always be good coins to buy and also, entry point will always surface for whatever coin thus don't chase after a moving train.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BULL RIDE OF 2021 on: July 24, 2021, 11:31:40 PM
I agree with you up to a good extent. Crypto market growth and trend works together. I will say trend is more like a process which people gets involved in ans the results is seen afterwards.
Last year it was Defi, and this year, NFT is gradually making serious waves, and that's how it starts; which is, once more attention is paid to it, it will lead to a massive bull run in the crypto market.
Also, now we have known that NFT could be the next big deal, it is then wise to be careful of the NFT platform you invest in because a lot of scammers do not joke with trend, and once it kicks off good they will start creating their fake NFT platform, if they are not doing so already.
Therefore to be on the safer side, a lot of NFT projects have been created and will take the lead when the bull run starts, so will be wise starting with them; in whichever case, thorough research is needed to maximize the benefits.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you really miss it? on: July 24, 2021, 11:21:13 PM
There are always opportunities in the crypto space, the deal is finding it and making the most out of it. Many people can't afford to buy 1 Bitcoin straight on, but through investing in other coins, which gave them good gains they were able to buy Bitcoin as well as Ethereum in the number they can afford. What I am trying to point out is that, there are always opportunities, but be careful to know when it is an opportunity because a lot of scams are present in the crypto space nowadays.
However, it is good you have realized that opportunities will always appear, thus start using your time to research good coins which can afford you the opportunity to hold the next bitcoin even though there is no coin like the next bitcoin but you can use the profit from other coins to buy and hold Bitcoin.
